The Rebellious Omega

Chapter 88

Blair POV

The rest of us stared at the men who looked apprehensive. They knew if they left they would be branded as cowards by their peers after that man had kissed Sierra. Josie's partner, or rather loser, walked forward slowly, cupping her cheek and kissing her, his movements stiff and jerky. His kiss went longer than Sierras I couldn't help noting and by the time he was finished, he was blushing slightly. Josie grinned at him unrepentant. "Such a sweet-tasting mouth," she said teasingly.

The man blushed even more, putting his armband into the bag and walking away without another word, while the rest of the men's jaws dropped even further. The rest of the men looked like they were about to face a hangman's noose. Malcolm looked like he was thoroughly enjoying himself.

One by one, the men began to file forward. Those that had a mark, the girls dismissed, but those that didn't were fair play, just like the girls had been. All of them looked humiliated by the time they left. Finally, the only one that was left was my partner in the game. If you are not reading this novel on J obnib.com, some sentences are incomplete. He put his armband in the bag and walked over to me. I shook my head at him when he reached for me. "That won't be necessary," I told him lowly, watching his eyes flare "I have a mate and have no desire to be kissed. You may go" I told him honestly.

Gary looked even more pissed "So I'm not even good enough for you to kiss" he snarled.

I blinked at him "It has nothing to do with that" I reiterated, Malcolm snapping to attention "I just told you I have a mate, I'm not marked yet and I have no desire to kiss you. Get over yourself" I snapped.

The other girls were looking at me strangely and shrugging. They were all in high spirits, even Sierra.

"If she said she doesn't want to then leave her alone and consider yourself lucky," Sierra said hotly, defending me to my surprise.

Gary sneered at her "I can smell a male on her. She's only saying she's unmarked to hide what a slut she really is" he said and then stared at me when I slapped him across the face.

"I detest it when males call a female a slut simply because she enjoys s*x. I mean, are you a virgin" I challenged and he went slack-jawed "Because I can smell a female on you. So what should I call you? A manwhore? Virgin destructor? p***y lover?"

I was so angry now that I was seeing red. Malcolm who was prepared to step in, moved subtly closer "Men have such double standards, and it's infuriating" I hissed, causing the girls to begin to nod "How dare you try and impose your ridiculous beliefs and notions on me. This isn't the eighteenth century anymore and you need to get with the times. I could be a f*****g dominatrix and it still wouldn't be any of your bloody business" I told him staunchly.

The girls all shouted out in agreement, causing Gary to stumble backward. "You men and your goddamn judgments" I shouted out wildly "How would you like it if I started asking every man I met if he was a virgin and then calling him a slut because he chose to sleep with someone? Why is it okay for a man to enjoy s*x and sleep with various partners but not a woman you hypocritical son of a b***h?" "Tell him, Blair,"

"She's right, I'm so sick of this bullshit."

"How f*****g dare you."

Gary blanched as the rest of the women's venom began to aim itself directly at him. He was looking wildly at Malcolm for help but Malcolm shook his head. "You started it," Malcolm said mildly "Don't expect help from me, mate. I agree with them."

Gary snarled and then took off running, looking over his shoulder in fright before disappearing from view. I laughed and ran a hand through my disheveled hair. "Alright ladies," Malcolm said as we all giggled and high fived each other "I have your rewards for you. If you come and give me your bank details, I will ensure that the thousand dollars that you earned fairly and with hard work, will be deposited into your bank account" he said gleefully.

The girls let out a shout of joy and got into a line. I frowned. I didn't technically have a bank account and the only money I had access to was Braedon's. What was I supposed to do now? I couldn't give him Braedon's account, which would tell him who I was, although he probably suspected by now. Besides, I did not need the money. I sighed. Josie was in front of me and we waited patiently. She gave Malcolm her details and then when it was my turn he waited, his hand hovering over the clipboard. I gave him a winning smile. "I would like to donate my earnings to Josie," I said calmly.

Josie looked surprised "But Blair wouldn't you like to..."

I shook my head at her "I do not need the money" I told her meaningfully and her eyes widened as realization dawned "So I would like Josie to have my earnings."

Malcolm looked shocked. "I've never had anyone do that before. Are you certain that's what you want to do?"

I gave a nod. "Yes please."

"Okay," he shrugged "we go back to training as usual, so I'll see you at our next training session."

I nodded again and then turned, Josie flinging her arms around me. "Thank you, you have no idea how much this means to me."

I winked at her "Well you earned it. A small smile curled on my lips "How would you feel about joining me back at the pack house for a movie and some popcorn?"

I was in the mood for something relaxing to do and to spend some time with Josie. She bit her lip and then grinned. "Sure, give me a couple of minutes to go and shower at mine, and then I'll join you" she squealed.

I laughed and we split. I headed towards the pack house, humming lightly underneath my breath, only to stop in my tracks as I collided with someone, my eyes rising slowly as I took him in. Somehow I wasn't surprised that he had chosen to confront me and I tensed, preparing for the inevitable confrontation as my anger flared.
