Chapter 70 

MALIYA 

It was finally Alpha Kane’s coronation and I have never felt so mad over someone’s success. I woke up in a pretty bad mood and I can’t wait for the day to pass so that we can leave or who knows what I might get myself into. 

My desire to kill Alpha Kane kept on increasing with each passing moment and I knew the perfect day to kill that bastard and steal his joy like he stole my dream was today if only I had enough power to deal with him. 

Alpha Xander walked out of the bathroom, looking prepared as he was already dressed up. My stomach twitched out of anger to see him supporting a man like Kane. It makes me feel like he was just as cruel and wicked as Kane even though Lalready know that Kane was still learning where Alpha Xander’s brutality begins. 

“The coronation is starting in a few minutes, you should get ready before then, Alpha Xander sat on the bed as he waited for me to apply makeup 

on his scar 

The urge to ruin his face even more and leave another scat popped into my mind but 1 soon waved it off. I went to open the bag we brought with us 

brought out the foundation and power I had been using to cover his face. 

Alpha Xander stared at me as I helped him apply make–up on his scar but my only attention was fixed on his face. I didn’t even attempt to eye contact with him as I was just too angry to deal with him at the moment 

My blood boiled with rage at the thought of Prince Kane becoming the Alpha and his words came rushing back into my head. 

“I thank the moon goddess for giving me a foolish mate like you who made it all possible. I wanted to kill him so badly and I closed my eyes for a few seconds to catch my breath. 

“All done.” I stepped away from Alpha Xander as I went back to our luggage to bring out the dress I’d be wearing. II Alpha Xander noticed my mood, he didn’t make any comment on it. Instead, he pretended as if he didn’t see anything. 

“I’ll be back in a few minutes. Make sure yo 

you are ready by then,” he said before leaving the room. 

1 clenched and unclenched my fist repeatedly before taking a deep breath- 

Alpha Xander had prepared a dress I’d be wearing to the coronation beforehand, so I didn’t have to do much thinking about which dress to select 

I brought out my dress, changed into it and styled my hair in a loose bun. I wished I could pretend that something was up or I was feeling sick to avoid watching the whole scenario but I have no choice. 

I finally gave in and finished dressing when Alpha Xander came back into the room 

“Are you ready?” He asked as he took in my appearance and I simply nodded in response. He led the way to the grand hall where the coronation was taking place and I was surprised to see the amount of prominent people Prince Kane had invited over. I wondered how long he had been planning to get rid of his family to make it easy for him to arrange for all of this 

He said it’s a coronation, but all I’m seeing here is an excuse to throw a party. All he needed were his pack members and elders to become the Alpha. All of this was just an excuse to flaunt his new title and be the topic to discuss for the next few days 

Alpha Xander held my hands as he guided me to our seats. For the first time in my life, I was sitting down anong other powerful Alphas and their 

“Alpha Xander, it’s a pleasure to see you again” one of the Alpha on the table greeted him and allowed them to talk. 

I kept my eyes fixed on the stage as a different group of entertainers kept coming in. The atmosphere was joyful and I simply wanted to get out of here Watching how everyone was laughing so hard, waiting for Alpha Kane to come out so that they could congratulate him got on my last nerve and I couldn’t wait to get out of there. 

If only they knew how undeserving he was of the title, they wouldn’t be celebrating him so badly. I know Prince Lucas was so childish, but if I was being honest, he was better than Aloha Kane in every way and I wished he was the one who won the battle between himself and Alpha Kane. 

I couldn’t focus on anything as I stared at the stage absentmindedly, 

“Maliya” Alpha Kabder called beside me, snapping me out of my truce. I tumed to face him and he pointed to my ear. 

“Your earring is missing,” he pointed and I touched my car, only to realize that I was only wearing one earring in one ear.

Shit! I recalled how I hit my ear by mistake while I was styling my hair and I knew I in
