Chapter 6
Chapter 6
Andrew stared at her for a few seconds. After a long time, he slowly said. “What do
you want?”
Seeing that he was a sensible person. Elizabeth did not intend to beat around the bush with him.
“I have a way to cure you, but I have two conditions.” She hooked the corner of her lips.
Although split personality disorder was a unique illness, it was nothing to her.
Now, she had no support here after marrying. The days ahead would only become more difficult without any leverage over Andrew.
“Conditions?” Andrew’s eyes were slightly cold, and a bloodthirsty light flashed under his eyes.
“This woman really does not know what situation she is in and dares to negotiate terms with me,” he said inwardly.
“Do you know what the consequences of threatening me are?” Andrew approached in Elizabethi’s direction.
There was a heavy aura of oppression in the surroundings.
Elizabeth shuddered all over.
She tried her best to calm herself down.
She was betting, betting that Andrew would be interested in her words..
“Mr. Hayes, Why don’t you try it?” Elizabeth met his sight.
Her words seemed to have an inexplicable charm that made people feel hopeful.
Andrew hooked his lips.
“This woman is really rare,” he thought.
Perhaps out of curiosity or wondering what Elizabeth wanted from him, Andrew put away the intense pressure he had just put on her.
“Tell me about it.”
Andrew suddenly stopped and no longer made any movements.
The two were only a fist’s distance away. As long as Andrew wanted to do something, Elizabeth had no room to fight back.
She seemed to have made the right bet, though.
She was slightly relieved.
“My conditions are very simple. One is to let me stay in the Hayes family.”
No matter what, she was still the young mistress of the Hayes family. It was inevitable to arouse suspicion if she were to leave suddenly.
“That’s it?” Andrew smiled.
“Then tell me, what is the second condition?”
Elizabeth shook her head. “I haven’t thought about it yet. I’ll tell you when I come up with something later.”
“Are you really sure you can cure me?” Andrew’s eyes flickered slightly as he looked at Elizabeth with a hint of doubt in his
gaze.
Elizabeth made a soft sound of agreement and said, “You can rest assured that I have the confidence to say this. However, the process may take longer. I’m telling you now, so don’t deny it later.”
Everyone in the Hayes family was Andrew’s people. If he really wanted to do something, the only person who would suffer was Elizabeth herself.
Elizabeth was very clear about her situation, so she was wise to keep a distance so that Andrew not only needed her treatment but would also not hate her existence.
“I’ll trust you for the time being Andrew turned his head around and did not look at her anymore.
At this time, the driver had already driven the car over. Andrew was planning to leave. When he saw Elizabeth standing there alone, he hooked his lips. “Come up.”
“Ah?” Elizabeth was stunned, as if she didn’t expect him to say this.
According to the people around him, didn’t this guy have a serious obsession with cleanliness? He shouldn’t like people staying with him.
“What? You need me to open the door for you.”
Chapter 6
Elizabeth paused, looked at the seat beside Andrew, and then at the smile on the corner of his mouth. After weighing, she took the initiative to get into the car.
“Where do you plan to go next?” asked Andrew.
Elizabeth looked out the window, thinking about her father still ill in bed, her eyes showing a slight concern. “The Clarke family.”
After marrying into the Hayes family, she had not seen her father and did not know how his body was going.
The last call with her father was half a month ago. If it weren’t for the nanny at home telling her about her father’s illness, she might still be in the dark now.
“Go to the mall.” Andrew said.
“What are you going there for?” Elizabeth asked subconsciously. She did not think that Andrew liked shopping.
Andrew raised his eyebrows. “Aren’t you going back to the Clarke family?”
Elizabeth nodded. “But what does this have to do with going to the mall?”
Moreover, she was just going back to take a look, which wouldn’t take much effort.
Seemingly suddenly understanding something, Elizabeth narrowed her eyes and asked, “Are you trying to say that you plan on going there with me?”
Andrew curled his lips and said, “Not too stupid.”
Elizabeth raised her eyebrows and wondered, “I could go back alone for this occasion. What was this guy up to?”
“You don’t look pleased?” Seeing that Elizabeth’s brows were furrowed, Andrew’s eyes narrowed with displeasure. “Why did she act like I was not allowed to be seen with her when I had taken the initiative to ask to go back with her?” he wondered.
Andrew’s eyes turned colder, and his mouth pursed tightly as he looked at Elizabeth.
Elizabeth glanced at him and subconsciously felt she couldn’t admit it, so she shook her head and denied it.
“I want to say that I can…”
Before she could finish speaking, Andrew, sitting next to her, suddenly leaned in. The strange manly breath instantly clenched her breath, causing her scalp to tighten instantly, and her whole body’s attention was on Andrew.
Andrew leaned in front of her and asked in a deep voice, “You are my woman, so naturally, you need to have your husband accompany you when you return to your parents‘ house.”
His tone was indifferent, and there was no discernible emotion.
But the aura all over his body was dull and sharp, making people a little breathless.
Elizabeth lowered her gaze, and a sharp light flashed in her eyes. Since Andrew wanted to follow, it was fine as long as he didn’t hinder her.
The car drove straight to the mall, where Andrew prepared gifts before heading to the Clarke family.
“My dad is not in good health right now. Don’t take it personally if there is any inadequate hospitality later.” Elizabeth glanced at Andrew and reminded him seemingly casually.
Andrew hooked his lips and did not answer Elizabeth. Instead, he took the lead to get out of the car and walked straight in.
Seeing that Elizabeth did not come over for a long time, Andrew looked back and saw her lowering her head and the flash of hatred in her eyes.
“It seemed that Robert’s efficiency in handling affairs really needed to be honed,” he said inwardly.
How could such a woman be simple?
The more she was, the more Andrew felt that things were getting interesting.
“If there were such a woman by my side in the future, it wouldn’t be too bad…” he thought.
