“Why? Can’t explain it?” Brian’s face was shrouded in coldness as he looked at Stella.
Stella bit her lip. “That was because I didn’t have any other gifts yesterday…”
“Your excuses are endless.” His statement rendered Stella speechless.
After a deep breath, she said, “Yes, I’m just flirty and fickle, and I like giving men quartz pendants. That’s my lucky pendant. Whoever receives it will be infatuated with me. Are you satisfied now?”
Brian’s temperament was unpredictable, and Stella often found it hard not to be rebellious in front of him. Honestly, their interaction felt like a rebellious 15–year–old daughter clashing with a strict, old–fashioned father.
Determined to anger him, Stella added, “Luckily, you didn’t wear that quartz pendant. Otherwise, my wish would have come true, and I would regret it now.”
“What wish did you make?”
“Didn’t I just say? Whoever wears the quartz pendant will be infatuated with me.”
Brian suddenly thought of the quartz pendant around Yoel’s neck. An unexplainable rage surged within him at once. He grabbed her chin and stared at her intensely.
“I told you not to have any contact with Yoel, and you gave him a wish pendant?”
“Yes, so what? You can’t control me.” Stella wasn’t afraid of him. She slapped his hand away and tried to leave.
Brian’s jealousy consumed his rationality, His eyes turned cold as he pulled her onto the bed and spanked her. “Who allowed you to give him a quartz pendant?”
“I just wanted to!” She yelled, even angrier after being spanked. “I want to seduce him! I want him!”
“No way you’re doing that.”
Gritting her teeth, Stella said stubbornly, “I will! I want him to fall in love with me!”
She was determined to provoke him. Brian’s anger reached a boiling point when she said she wanted Yoel to fall in love with her. He spanked her harder.
Tears welled up in Stella’s eyes. “You jerk, I hate you!”
“Don’t cry.” Brian’s face remained cold. Ignoring him, Stella walled.
Brian’s nerves were stretched taut. He suddenly leaned over and pinned her down.
Stella was startled. His closeness stopped her tears in their tracks. She struggled frantically. “Brian, let go

“Are you going to cry?” he asked while pressing against her back.
Stella was petrified. Large tears were still hanging at the corners of her eyes as she struggled desperately. “Let go of me!”
The more she struggled, the heavier Brian’s breathing became. He spanked her again. “Stop moving, or else don’t blame me if I lose control.”
At once, Stella stopped moving. Pouting, she silently cried.
“Stop crying.” Brian ordered.
“I can’t help it!” Stella shouted while tears streamed down her cheeks.
“Really?” He didn’t believe her. Just then, he blew a breath into her ear from behind. Stella immediately stiffened, and her tears stopped instantly.
“Didn’t you say you couldn’t stop crying? Seemed pretty easy to me,” Brian sneered.
Furious, Stella pounded the bed. “Let go of me.”
“Go get Yoel’s quartz pendant back,” Brian demanded as he leaned closer.
“No way!”
“No way?”
“I already gave it to him.” Her voice was full of grievance.
Brian snorted. “I don’t care. Go get that quartz pendant back, no matter what
