Our Journey Back To Love

Chapter 134

Chapter 134

Squatting on the ground, Stella chuckled softly. “Yes, I told you before. I have many men I like. It’s not like you just found out today.”

The veins on Brian’s temple bulged at those words. His expression darkened. “Don’t you dare go find

them!”

With that said, he left her alone and entered the villa. Stella crouched silently for a long time before laughing at herself,

She had thought his attitude toward her had changed But no, he was still the same, ready to mock and

belittle her whenever he wanted.

After a while, she dragged her weak legs slowly up to the second floor and lay down on the bed. She glanced at her bank balance–30 thousand dollars.

However, she owed Brian 40 thousand dollars. She thought she could leave after repaying this debt.

She wondered if Jessica would agree to return the bag if she repaid the money. If Jessica agreed, she could give the bag back to Brian, which would settle the debt.  Sᴇaʀᴄh thᴇ (ꜰind)ɴʘvel.nᴇt website on Gøøglᴇ to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.

As she pondered, she drifted off to sleep. The next morning, she woke up with a sneeze.

“Mrs. Foley, are you awake?” Yvonne knocked on the door outside.

Stella got up and opened the door. “Yes?”

“Mr. Foley said you should start wearing this at home from today.” Yvonne handed her a set of clothes.

Stella unfolded it and saw that it was a maid’s uniform. Brian was really childish and vindictive.

Yvonne sighed. “Actually, I don’t think it’s appropriate for you to wear this. It’s the maids‘ uniform, after all. I tried to persuade Mr. Foley just now, but he insisted.”

“Never mind. It’s okay.” He just wanted to humiliate her. Stella accepted it, which strengthened her determination to get a divorce. With a man like this, the sooner she left, the better.

She changed into the black–and–white maid outfit, put on a lace headband, and went to the master

bedroom.

When she opened the door, Brian was on the phone by the floor–to–ceiling window. He said, “I know. I’ll be

there later.”

The moment he turned around after ending the call, he saw Stella in the maid outfit. Her face was very stern, looking rebellious.

Brian couldn’t help but laugh. Not wanting to talk, Stella rolled her eyes at him. She walked into the dressing room with her puffy skirt.

Brian, for some reason, followed her and casually said, “It suits you.”

Stella paused in her actions and glared at him fiercely. Scumbag!”

“Praising you makes me a scumbag?”

“Making me wear this makes you a scumbag, Stella retorted angrily.

“Every maid in Yolvencrest Estate wears this. Why can’t you accept it?”

Stella was speechless and didn’t want to argue anymore. She found his clothes for the day and put them on the couch. “The clothes are ready. I’m leaving.”

“Wait,” Brian called out to her lazily. “You need to help me get dressed.”

“No way!” She refused and turned to leave.

Yet Brian pulled her back and pinned her against the wall. His voice was cold as he said, “I haven’t dealt with you for flirting with another man last night, and you’re already giving me attitude?”

Stella scowled. “Which eye of yours saw me flirting with another man? Don’t accuse me without evidence.

“The quartz pendant Yoel was wearing last night was from you, wasn’t it? Brian’s eyes were cold as he glared at her.

Stella was taken aback. “That was because it was his birthday.”

“It was his birthday, so you gave him a quartz pendant? Do you buy quartz pendants in bulk? Do you give, one to any man on their birthdays?” Brian mocked.

Stella couldn’t answer. She just realized that she had given Brian a quartz pendant on his birthday last

year.

And this year, she gave Yoel the same thing for his birthday. She suddenly didn’t know how to explain it.
