Our Journey Back To Love

Chapter 133

Chapter 133

Gripping the bottle of wine tightly, Stella hurried up to catch up with Brian. “Why are you walking so fast? We haven’t even packed up the leftovers.”

There was so much food left, and she still hadn’t eaten enough. Brian shot a cold glance at the wine in her hand and scoffed, “You brought the wine back?”

“Well, what else was I supposed to do? This wine costs 1800 dollars a bottle. I can’t just leave it,” Stella replied, her voice tinged with frustration. Brian kept walking, his expression unreadable.

She frowned deeply. By the time she reached the door, he had disappeared. Stella sighed in exasperation.

“He’s such a moody guy,” she muttered to herself. As she was about to reach for her phone to call him, she heard a thunderous roar as a Bugatti Veyron shot out of the parking lot.

Stella stood there, stunned. Brian had pulled up in that Bugatti Veyron earlier that evening. Stella was incredulous that he had left without so much as a goodbye.  Sᴇaʀᴄh thᴇ FindNʘᴠᴇl.nᴇt website on Gøøglᴇ to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.

She was genuinely upset now. If this was how he was going to treat her, she wished they hadn’t gone out

at all. It had soured her mood considerably.

Just as she was about to leave, Yoel emerged and spotted her standing alone at the entrance. “Stella, why are you here alone? Where’s Mr. Foley?” he asked,

“He left already,” Stella replied wearily.

Yoel approached her with furrowed brows. “Stella, did he really just leave you here after dinner?”

Stella sighed, feeling both embarrassed and frustrated. “I honestly don’t know what his deal is.”

“Well, it’s already past 10:00 pm, and it’s getting late. Let me give you a ride home,” Yoel suggested kindly.

Stella thought about it and agreed. It was safer to have someone drive her home at this hour,

Just as Stella was about to climb into Yoel’s car, a Bugatti roared toward them out of nowhere. Its headlights blinded her for a moment, and her eyes widened in shock.

But the car didn’t crash into Yoel’s Bentley; it slid to a smooth stop just inches away.

“Get in.” Brian shoved the car door open. His voice was cold and commanding.

Stella looked baffled. “Didn’t you already leave?”

“Are you coming or not?” Brian’s tone remained icy.

Feeling a bit scared, Stella turned to Yoel. “Mr. Perkins, I’ll go with him.”

She handed the wine back to Yoel and put it in his car. Mr. Perkins, I don’t usually drink much. Please accept this bottle of wine as a gift. Thank you for your kindness.”

With that, she climbed into Brian’s car. Before Yoel could utter a word, the Bugatti Veyron thundered off

with a deafening roar.

Chapter 13

Stella clenched her seatbelt, her long hair swirling wildly in the wind.

“Slow down!” she shouted. Ignoring her pleas, Brian pressed harder on the gas pedal.

Stella shut her eyes tight in fear, and her heart raced uncontrollably. She was utterly terrified.

As they p

pulled up to Yolvencrest Estate, Stella couldn’t hold it in any longer.

She yanked the car door open and hurled, stomach acid burning her throat as it splattered onto the grass.

Brian stepped out of the car. His gaze was cold and menacing as he looked down at her. “You brought this upon yourself.”

Stella’s expression shifted instantly. He had deliberately sped his car, tormenting her until she vomited, and now he had the nerve to say it was her fault

Stella was truly angry now. She shot him a fierce glare

Brian’s face remained impassive as he mocked her again, “You lose all sense around a man. Pathetic.”

Stella froze. Rage flared in her eyes, but suddenly she felt powerless.
