Chapter 7: Going Home with Him
“In that case, he should have told you the reason I came here.”
“Hogan has made arrangements, Stacey. Come with me to meet her.“‘
Stacey followed her to the elevator and watched as she pushed the button for the forty–seventh floor, presumably where Hogan’s office was.
Over the years, Kama hadn’t changed at all. She was still quiet, gentle, and extraordinarily elegant. She was Hogan’s type, and she was good at reading people’s expressions. Otherwise, how could she have stayed by Hogan’s side for so many years?
The atmosphere in the elevator was strangely quiet until the elevator stopped with a ding. As they walked out, Kama decided to break the strange silence. “Stacey, you haven’t been to our company before, have you?”
“Yes.” Stacey answered absentmindedly, but she heard the words ‘our company‘ clearly. Had her relationship with Hogan reached that level?
“I’ve been to the company with Hogan before. The company has changed a lot in recent years, both in terms of decoration and performance. Ever since Hogan took over, the company’s ranking has been improving.”
The two of them were the only ones in the corridor. The click- clack of Kama’s high heels made Stacey realize how

unpleasant the sound could be.
“Kama, I don’t think you need to tell me all this.”

“Sorry, Stacey. I’m just a little excited to see you.” Kama said, stopping in her tracks briefly before walking over to Hogan’s office and knocking on the door. “Hogan, Stacey is here.”
With that, Kama’s eyes fell on Stacey again. “I have some things to do, so I’ll leave you guys alone.”
With that, Kama walked away, leaving Stacey alone to roll her eyes. The way Kama spoke made it sound like they had some kind of special relationship. She just wanted to learn about her job, nothing more.
Stacey pushed the door open and saw Hogan at his desk signing papers. He didn;t bother to look up at her when he heard her walk in.
“You’re late.”
“I’ve agreed to work at Barnes Group, and you said you wouldn’t tell anyone about what happened last night.”
“You still won’t agree to the other thing I said?”
He put down the work in his hands and raised his head, looking coldly at Stacey.
There had always been an obsession in his heart to keep Stacey by his side, no matter what method he used.
“The other thing?”
Hogan’s eyes were cold and deep, and Stacey clenched her fists, a layer of sweat seeping from her palms.

Hogan stood up and strutted toward her.

His eyes fell on Stacey’s tightly clenched fists, and her nervousness piqued his interest. He sneered, “Be my woman. How about this? If you don’t want me to tell anyone about what happened last night, then be a good girl and say yes.”
Hogan was surrounded by seductive women, but for some reason, Stacey had an extremely strong appeal to him.
Even if she lay motionless on the bed like a corpse, she could easily arouse his sexual interest.
Was it because he hated her for leaving three years ago that he did this to her? Hogan himself did not know.
Stacey looked into Hogan’s eyes, which were so dark that they seemed to draw people in.
Stacey shouted angrily, “Despicable!”
The ensuing silence made Stacey feel embarrassed. Hogan had long since become accustomed to her scolding.
“If you make that promise to me, I promise to treat your mother well in the future.”
Stacey’s heart was slightly in turmoil. After her mother married William, Hogan always treated her badly, and since he didn’t like her mother, he hated her by association.
Stacey also knew that her mother did her best to do her duty as a stepmother and that Hogan’s cynical attitude broke her heart.
“If you can do it, I can promise you, but I have one request. You’re not allowed to do that to me.”

Stacey made up her mind. If she could exchange her pride for her mother’s future happiness, she was willing to do it.
“We’re all adults. You should know what I mean. To put it nicely, it’s being a woman, but to put it bluntly, it’s being a mistress.”
Hogan looked at her familiar face and wanted this woman
even more.
Over the years, even when he was sleeping with other women, Stacey’s figure would appear in his mind.
Hogan suddenly wrapped his arms around her waist with great strength, and then he suddenly picked her up and placed her on his desk. The feeling of her feet going up in the air scared Stacey into a gasp.
Hogan held onto her hand and placed it on his belt.
