Forgive us

Macey was on the ground cuddled into herself covering her head. Jeff and Johan were screaming at Diesel who was in the back room clearly intoxicated trying to get him out of the bar while Raph was on the phone to the police. The police were on the way and were 6 minutes out. Raph just hoped the two other men could keep the other guy away until then.

Soon enough the sirens were heard and Raph breathed a sigh of relief. "Macey, you think the police will keep you safe? Tyler will make it all go away like he used to. I will take great pleasure in doing what our father couldn't. I'm going to break you, Macey. Do you fucken hear me? Then, even your own boyfriend won't want you" Diesel spat as the police came in the back door.

Macey was going to vomit again. Diesel had just admitted to wanting to finish what his father started. That meant he had planned to rape her. Macey quickly stood putting her hand over her mouth and ran straight into the women's toilets with Johan and a female officer right behind her.

Macey dropped to her knees and violently vomited while her body shook with tremors. She knew she would have to run again now that Diesel had shown his true colours. It would only be a matter of time until Tyler and Asher did the same thing. She wasn't safe here anymore and that was made evident just now when Diesel had got into her workplace after closing to hurt her.

"Macey, you are safe. He is gone. He can't get you" Johan spoke softly to try and assure her that Diesel couldn't follow through with his threats. Johan began to rub her back in an attempt to calm Macey down and offer support. Macey just shook her head no. "I need to run again" Macey mumbled out.

"Has this happened before?" The female asked causing Macey to snap her head towards the officer. "Macey you need to tell the police" Johan told Macey. Macey shook her head no "Tyler is a cop" Macey responded. The female officer nodded in understanding. "Ex-partner?" The officer questioned. Macey shook her head no before attempting to stand up but failing.

"That was one of her brothers. Her other brother is a cop" Johan explained causing the officer to look on in surprise. She had assumed it was just another domestic violence call. "Right. So we have some questions for you all" the officer stated.

Johan helped Macey up and out for the bar where he sat her down in one of the seats. Raph grabbed her a bottle of water and handed it to Macey. He had been in her place before and felt sorry for the girl.

"So the person who broke into the bar tonight is your brother?" The female officer asked causing Macey to nod. Raph was shocked he clearly had things wrong. "Sarge, the guy we arrested is screaming to call his brother who is a cop to clear this all up," a young officer said walking back into the bar.

Jeff was giving his statement to the cops about the earlier incident where Diesel had been escorted off the premises due to threatening Macey as well as what had been said when Diesel came into the closed bar. Macey didn't see the point in any of this, she knew Tyler would turn up any minute to save his brother from the police. She kept her mouth shut and as if on cue there was a knock on the front door of the bar.

Tyler had for a call from someone claiming that Diesel had been arrested at the bar where Macey worked. He and Asher headed over immediately worried about what Diesel had done and hoping that Macey was ok. Tyler was unsure if he could get his brother out of shit here seeing he didn't know the officers that worked in Wollongong. Asher looked at Tyler quickly as he was driving before saying. "You think of getting him out of this and I will put you on your arse. He deserves what is coming" Asher spat out with venom in his voice. Tyler nodded his head, he was torn on what to do.

As Asher pulled up his stomach dropped. There were several police cars and an ambulance. Had he really failed her yet again? He quickly parked his car racing to the front of the bar and knocking on the door. Tyler headed over to the police wagon knowing his brother would be in there. "I'm going to finish what my dad started. I will break the bitch just like he was going to" Diesel was screaming. Tyler shook his head and walked towards his brother who was knocking on the bar doors.

Raph opened the doors at the front "Yes?" He questioned. He had already given his statement and was free to go. He only met Macey briefly but wanted to stay in case the girl needed a lift. "Where is Macey? Is she ok?" Asher rushed out. "And you are?" Raph asked. "Her brothers, I am Asher and that's Tyler" Asher replied. "Oh, so you are going to make this all go away? You can both leave" Raph spat out before attempting to close the bar doors. He couldn't stand people who covered for abusers.

Asher pushed the door stopping Raph from closing the door on them. "No one is here to make things go away. I just want to know if my sister is ok" Asher replied. While searching inside the bar. He spotted Macey sitting at the table with a female officer who looked to be frustrated. Tyler and Asher pushed into the bar causing Raph to sigh. "Macey" Asher and Tyler called at the same time alerting her of their presence. Macey shrunk which didn't go unnoticed by the female officer or Johan who was sitting next to Macey. He had been attempting to reason with Macey to get her to talk but she hadn't said a word.

Tyler and Asher rushed over and Tyler went to put his hand on Macey's knee. Macey jumped up knocking the chair backwards. "I swear I didn't say anything" Macey rushed out. The female officer stood in front of Macey glaring at Tyler. "So you are the cop? I don't know how things work at your station but here we don't tolerate things being kept quiet. Your brother is being charged with disturbing the peace, assaulting an officer, breaking and entering, making threats of harm, assault, intimidation and anything else I can think of. If you want to join him speak to my witness" the officer barked out causing Tyler to step back.

"Now Macey, we have established your brother has no pull at my station. Shall we start with your statement?" The officer asked. Macey looked at the officer and nodded before she began her statement. She even told them about what had happened with her father and the abuse she suffered at Diesel and her father's hands as a kid. They weren't finished in the bar until close to 6 in the morning.

Macey apologised to everyone before trying to walk home. Johan wouldn't allow that so he led her to his car. He told Macey she was staying at his place, he wanted to make sure she was ok and actually slept. He didn't bother stopping at her dorm, he would take her there before work tomorrow. Macey ended up borrowing some shorts and a hoodie from Johan before falling asleep next to him in his bed. She felt safe with Johan.
