Forgive us

Macey was still stuck in her shock when her manager came over to her. He placed his hand on her shoulder causing her to jump. "Macey take 5 minutes, I will cover the bar for you" the manager said. Macey nodded her head once, her entire body was shaking from what had happened. She quickly rushed to the women's bathrooms emptying her stomach into the the toilet.

Macey stood and rinsed her mouth in the sink. She grabbed onto the bench taking some deep breaths to try and calm down. She was worried about losing her job as well as having her brothers jump her when she left for the night. She didn't want to have to run again but one slip from Diesel showed she would never be free from them at all. She had five years of freedom but that had all come crumbling down thanks to Tyler tracking her down.

Macey headed to her bag pulling out gum shoving some in her mouth and spraying herself with perfume that was in her bag before heading back to the bar. The manager nodded to Macey in acknowledgment before heading back to the office to monitor things and finish up some work. Macey breathed a sigh of relief, for now, she had her job still.

Johan glanced towards Macey who had just come back onto the floor to make sure she was ok. Ben the new guy seemed to be amused by what had taken place and strutted over to Macey. "So you like it rough?" Ben asked Macey causing her to swing around and look at him like he had two heads.

Johan walked over to the bar to listen in on what was being said. "What?" Macey questioned Ben. "You like being controlled? You know maybe I could take that guy's place" Ben said reaching forward to touch Macey who took a giant step back. "What the actual fuck? Back off before I put you on your arse" Macey spat at Ben. Johan wanted to deck the guy but instead headed to the office to let the manager know what he just overheard.

A fever minutes later Jeff the manager came storming out of the office with Johan, Macey was busy serving customers while Ben stood watching the girl licking his lips. "Ben, you are fired get your stuff and leave. I won't tolerate people like you in my bar" Jeff stated walking right up to him and pointing to the door. Ben waved his hands over the bar knocking the drinks Macey had just poured over and smashing glasses. Macey jumped back looking scared as hell.

Macey snapped out of it apologising to the customers and quickly got to work replacing the drinks and giving them on the house. Jeff and one of the floor staff quickly cleaned the area up while Johan escorted Ben out of the bar. Johan had a quiet word in his ear about speaking to Macey the way he did scaring the shit out of Ben.

"Macey" Jeff called out as there was a lull in customers. "Yeh Jeff?" Macey asked in concern, she was sure this would be where she was asked to leave because she had caused the problems in the bar and it wasn't good for business. "I'm working the bar with you tonight. Ben didn't work out" Jeff told her, shocking Macey. She looked around and sure enough, Ben was gone. Macey nodded her head and told Jeff she could handle things till it got busy. Jeff headed into his office to call another guy to take a trial shift.

About 7.30 things started to pick up just as a new guy turned up. He immediately saw the bar and headed over to Macey. "Need any help doll?" He asked. "Sorry, who are you?" Macey asked not stopping to look at him. She didn't even have time to get Jeff out of the office to help. "Oh I'm Raphael, you can call me Raph. I got a call from a Jeff for a trial" Raph stated. "He is in his office, it's that way," Macey said quickly pointing to the door.

Johan glanced towards the bar as he had just done a lap of the place and saw Macey run off her feet. He quickly made his way to Jeff's office to let him know when Jeff came out with another guy. The guy headed behind the bar with Jeff. "Doll, where do you want me?" Raph asked. Macey pointed to the beer taps. "Pour those for me, Jeff take the register for him, I don't have time to teach him the system" Macey called out still serving.

At the end of the shift, Macey was physically exhausted. It had been a really busy night. Mentally she was very alert because she assumed her brothers would be waiting outside for her and she knew she wouldn't be physically capable of fighting with them. Her body ached and the lack of sleep had definitely taken its toll on her. She couldn't believe Diesel had actually shown that side of himself in public.

Macey was so lost in her head cleaning the bar and stocking it for the early shift that she didn't hear Johan speak to her. "Doll?" Raph questioned touching her arm. Macey was stacking glasses and dropped the cup in her hand covering her head with her arms. Johan and Jeff moved towards Macey quickly but Raph put his hands in front of her.

Raph had been a victim of domestic violence with his boyfriend and knew this was a trauma reaction. He didn't want the two of them scaring her any more than she already was. "Stop" Raph called out snapping Macey out of her own head. Macey dropped her arms looking around seeing three men looking at her concerned. "Sorry," she whispered.

"Macey, you little bitch. I can see you. Come out and I'll go easy on you this time. I'm here to remind you of your place" was called through the back door. Macey froze in her place and slowly lowered herself to the ground trying to hide. Johan and Jeff moved quickly towards the back door while Raph grabbed a phone to call the police. He didn't know what was happening but clearly, this girl was in danger.
