Finding Emery

Emery was shaking while Michael and Taz tried to get to her but she moved right back and wouldn't take her eyes off the man. The guy dropped his head hoping that the girl wouldn't recognise him. This didn't go unnoticed by Jasper who was glaring at the guy. "Emery you are safe here. I promise you" Uncle Mike said watching the little girl make herself small.

Emery kept shaking her head no while Uncle Mike and Taz tried to get to her. "If I'm safe why is he here. He made daddy and I run" Emery mumbled but everyone in the room heard. "She clearly doesn't know what she is talking about" the guy rushed out trying to escape from the room only to be stopped by Seb and Jasper. "Hunny he works with us" Seb stated. "Then you all made daddy and I run. Where are your red snake pictures?" Emery yelled. These people had chased them and she lost her daddy because of them, she wasn't going to be nice.

Uncle Mike was shocked to hear Emery talking about a red snake tattoo. That was one of the drug gangs who had been after his brother. His brother had assured him Emery knew nothing about it at all but here she was talking about the tattoo their members had. "I don't have a red snake tattoo" the guy said looking nervous. Emery glared at him for lying. "It's on the back of your leg, I saw it when daddy tripped you over" Emery bit back.

The distraction allowed Taz to grab his sister and bury her face into his chest while Jasper got the guy into the ground. Uncle Mike lifted his pants leg spotting the tattoo on the back of his right leg. Michael was fuming, this guy had been involved in hurting his brother and going after his niece. He kicked the guy in the ribs immediately and a large crack was heard through the room. Michael was satisfied. "I'll deal with you later Owen" Michael bit out.

Emery was fighting the hold the person had on her. She wasn't going to go down without a fight at all. She swung her arms and legs while Taz kept her face buried in his chest so she couldn't see what was happening. Taz, Chase, Jasper and Seb watched Uncle Mike kick Owen breaking his ribs in the process. "Joshua and Sam get this guy out of my sight. He harmed my family and I'll deal with him later" Uncle Mike barked out.

Once Owen was out of the room Taz relaxed his grip on his baby sister. No one had wanted her to see what was going on. None of them wanted her to be involved at all in their world. That is why Michael had helped Marcus disappear along with the bitch that birthed the three siblings. If it wasn't for her habit none of this would of happened.

Emery pushed away from Taz and scanned the room looking for that man who had made her and her daddy run. "Emmy he is gone, he won't hurt you" Uncle Mike said stepping closer to his niece who in turned stepped back. She couldn't trust these people especially if they were the ones who were making her and her daddy run. "Baby none of us will ever hurt you, we are family. I'm your big brother Chase and that's your other brother Taz" Chase stated seeing Emery was still looking scared.

Emery remembered the photo in her daddy's bag which was a photo of her, her daddy and her brothers. Her daddy would tell her about her big brothers because she didn't remember a lot at all. If she could check the photo then she would know if these people were lying to her or not. Emery glanced around the room looking for the bag so she could get the pictures out but couldn't see it.

"Whatcha looking for baby?" Seb asked Emery. "The bags" Emery mumbled. "What bags?" Seb asked. "Which one Emmy?" Jasper asked. "Daddy's" Emery mumbled. Jasper nodded his head and went to grab the black bag for Emery. As he walked back in to the room Emery snatched the bag out of his hands and sat in the corner near the door searching through the bag. Everyone was watching her not sure of what she was looking for at all.

Emery pulled out the photo studying it closely before looking at Taz and Chase who introduced themselves as her big brothers. Uncle Mike moved closer to Emery while she looked at the paper she had pulled out of the bag. He glanced at the photo and slowly sat down next to Emery as not to scare her. So far she hadn't really allowed anyone near her at all.

Uncle Mike watched his niece get teary eyed looking at the photo in her hand. "That was the last day here with us. Your daddy came to get you and you wanted a photo with your brothers and daddy so you would remember them both. I took that photo of you all" uncle Mike spoke softly to Emery.

Emery looked up at the man who claimed to be uncle Mike with tears in her eyes. She missed her daddy very much and didn't understand what had happened. "Was I bad? Is that why daddy left me?" Emery asked her uncle. Uncle Mike quickly scooped up his niece up seeing both his nephews quickly head towards Emery probably to comfort her. He held her close to his chest. "You are not bad Emery. Your daddy didn't leave you willingly baby" Uncle Mike said while hugging Emery. "But daddy said not to look back and I went back. Daddy had blood on his head and was watching the sky like mummy did after the white powder. We spent four sleeps there and then when I went to shower he was gone" Emery cried out.

"Shhh baby, your daddy didn't leave you. He never would do that. Those people who you were running from hurt him Emmy. He never wanted to leave you at all. He loved you very much" Uncle Mike told her. The four boys were watching on wishing they could comfort Emery as she had tears in her eyes. "But he didn't come back. Daddy left me" Emery wailed not understanding what uncle Mike was talking about. "Emery our dad died princess" Taz whispered while kneeling in front of his baby sister.
