Finding Emery

Jasper called the doctor immediately while Micheal took his niece up to the room they had set up for Emery when she had last stayed with them. The staff were ordered to keep in clean only. Nothing had been change though since she was last here. Michael carefully laid Emery on the bed taking off her shoes and covering her with the blanket. He would be staying in the room with her so if she woke she wouldn't be on her own.

Michael sat in the chair watching his niece with his nephews standing at the door. "You can come in she won't bite" Michael mumbled to his nephew's, he wanted this time to himself but he wouldn't deny them being with her either. None of them knew what Emery had been through and how she would react when she awoke. With her brothers here she may be calmer then with just him.

Emery began to stir, she didn't know why she felt like she was laying on fluffy clouds. All she remembered was someone grabbing her and then it all went black. What if she was kidnapped? How would she get away to go and wait for her daddy? Emery opened ether eyes slowly and looked at the ceiling. She was clearly in a room somewhere.

Michael jumped up the minute he saw Emery open her eyes. "Emmy?" He questioned which caused the little girl to freeze. Michael stepped closer to the bed as did Taz and Chase. Jasper and Seb were also now at the door and stepped into the room. They didn't want to be left out of the family reunion at all. "Emery" Michael called again hoping the little girl would look at him.

Emery didn't know what to do, these people clearly knew her name but her daddy told her not to talk to strangers at all and she didn't know these people. Emery looked towards the voice the second time because it sounded familiar and she wasn't sure why. "Hi sweetheart" Uncle Mike said smiling at the little girl, but all Emery did was look at him without moving.

Michael stepped closer to the bed which caused Emery to sit up quickly. She didn't know the man and was worried that he was one of the bad men that was after her and her daddy. Michael frowned when he saw Emery sit and took another step closer to the bed. Emery moved backwards placing her back against the head board and her eyes grew big.

"Uncle Mike you are scaring her" Taz stated seeing the look in his sisters eyes. Emery snapped her eyes to the other man in the room. She hadn't realised there was more then one and he looked familiar too. He looked a little like her daddy but younger. "Hi baby" Taz said when he saw Emery looking at him. He could see she looked confused and wanted to comfort his sister.

Taz stepped a little closer to the bed along with Chase, "hi princess" Chase said with a big smile on his face. Emery backed herself into the corner unsure of what these people were going to do. Yes they looked like her daddy but she didn't know why. "How are you feeling?" Chase asked. Emery just looked at him with her big green eyes but didn't say anything.

Two of the men had the same curly brown hair that Emery did even though hers was a mattered mess at the moment as she had washed it with the soap at the hospital but couldn't brush it. The other man's hair was turning white like her daddy's hair. They had the same light brown skin as Emery, the other man had darker skin and brown eyes. This was confusing to Emery because they looked like her daddy but they weren't her daddy.

"Emery, you need to talk to us baby. We want to help you" uncle Mike spoke softly as not to scare Emery anymore then she clearly was scared. Emery shook her head no and zipped across her lips causing Jasper and Seb to laugh at the little girl. Emery's eyes snapped to the other two men in the room that she hadn't seen. Those two looked like the one who had the same colour hair as daddy. She couldn't work out why they looked familiar though.

"Emmy, you are safe now. You can talk to us" Taz said seeing how Emery still hadn't said a word. Emery shook her head no again, she wasn't allowed to talk to strangers daddy said so. "I bet you can't talk that's why you are shaking your head no" Chase pushed trying to get his sister to say something. "Daddy said not to talk to strangers" Emery replied before slapping her hand over her mouth.

"You don't remember us?" Taz asked shocked to hear that come from his baby sisters mouth. "Emmy, do you know who I am?" Uncle Mike asked. Emery shook her head no, she knew his face from somewhere and he looked like daddy but she didn't know him at all. "Emmy, my name is Uncle Mike" Michael said causing Emmy to sequel, if this is uncle Mike then maybe her daddy would be here too. "Is daddy here? If not I have to go back and wait for him" Emery rushed out.

Everyone's face dropped, Emery wasn't aware that her dad had died. "Emmy, come here baby" Uncle Micke said softly. He wanted to be holding her when he told her that her daddy was never coming back. Emery shook her head no, she didn't know if the man was lying to her or not. "I won't hurt you Emmy, I just want to hold you" Uncle Mike stated. Emery shook her head no again. "Emery you are safe here, no one is going to hurt you. I just want a hug baby" uncle Mike said firmly.

Emery hadn't had a hug in two years since the day her daddy went away. She really wanted to be held so slowly moved towards uncle Mike. As she got close another man walked into the room. "Boss the doctor is here" he called causing Emery to jump backwards. "You said I was safe" Emery screamed looking at the man that walked into the room and shaking.
