Finding Emery

Emery had spent the rest of lunch with Tucker, Lucas and Paulo. She had liked holding Tucker's hand as they were in the playground with lots of other kids. She had been scared when she saw the bigger kids but when Tucker held her hand she felt really safe. When the bell rang to signal the end of lunch Tucker, Lucas and Paulo had walked her back to her classroom and even told the other kids to shut up when they were laughing at Emery for getting in trouble from Miss Ando. The younger kids immediately listened not wanting to be on the wrong side of the popular boys.

Emery gave Tucker a kiss on the cheek as a thank you which caused Tucker to go as red as a tomato. "If you wait here after class I will walk out with you to find your parents" Tucker offered. "My big brother and mister Kody is picking me up" Emery nodded and explained. "I'll walk you out to them and if anyone in your class is mean tell me, Lucas and Paulo and we will take care of it" Emery nodded and skipped into the classroom sitting at her desk.

Tristan walked into the classroom with Emery's lunchbox and headed over to the table Emery was sitting at. "You left this outside Emery. If you are hungry, you can take something out and eat it" Tristan told Emery before going to the front to begin teaching the class again. Emery was hungry so took out the rest of her strawberries and began to munch on them while they did some maths worksheet adding up how many carrots each group had. She seemed to eat more when she was happy or distracted doing something else.

When the bell rang signally the end of school, Emery jumped up from her seat. She was excited because she would get to see Tucker and his friends again. She liked being with them so now she liked school. Maybe she could ask Tucker to come and play with her at her house? She thought to herself. Emery quickly shoved her lunch box in her bag and walked to the door to wait for Tucker, Lucas and Paulo. Tucker was waiting for Emery and immediately took her hand, he couldn't have Emery getting lost at all. Tristan smiled down at the pair and then walked with them outside to wait for Kody and Taz.

"Emmy, if you come early tomorrow we can play and I can walk you to class" Tucker said to Emery as they made there way out the front of the school. Tucker was swinging Emery's hand back and forth looking down at the little girl like she was the best thing since sliced bread. "Ok, maybe you can come to my house and play too" Emery stated just as they reached Taz and Kody. Emery kissed Tucker on the cheek causing him to go red again. Tucker pulled Emery into a hug before Emery told him she would see him early tomorrow to play.

Taz was not happy that Emery just kissed a boy at all and when the kid hugged his sister he wanted to commit murder. He wanted to say something but with the smile on Emery's face and Emery skipping towards him he couldn't bring himself to upset her. "Hi Tazzy, can we come to school early tomorrow?" Emery chirped out happily. Taz smiled down at the little girl and immediately agreed seeing how happy she was before taking Emery home. Taz would deal with the boy issue later.

As promised, Uncle Mike, Jasper, Seb and Chase were all waiting at home for Emery to get back from school. Bentley and Kody were driving right behind Taz and Emery. Emery was happily singing in the back seat and was so excited to tell everyone her news. When they pulled up at home Taz got his sister out of the car and headed into the lounge room where everyone was waiting for Emery. Kody and Bentley walked in behind Taz and Emery.

Emery went running into the middle of the lounge room bouncing on her feet when she saw everyone. Uncle Mike couldn't help but smile at the little girl. He hadn't seen her this excited since they had found her and he was glad she liked school. "I found my husband today at school, he saved me" Emery chirped out. The Quake's frowned at that news, that was not what the were expecting to hear at all.

"Wait, what happened to marrying Kody?" Jasper asked. At least if she was saying she was going to marry Kody, they knew they had nothing to worry about. "Mister Kody likes boys not girls and I'm a girl. I think him and Bentley are getting married, they were holding hands today like me and Tucker. Tucker and I are going to get married and have babies when I'm 24" Emery yelled excitedly. Kody and Bentley blushed when Emery outed them. "Wait, how do you know Kody likes boys and not girls?" Chased asked. "Paulo told me, they are like his daddies. Mister Kody and Bentley can have babies by doption like Paulo was given to his daddies" Emery confirmed.

"I don't like it, she can't go back to school. She is playing with boys" Seb pouted which caused Jasper, Chase and Taz to agree to. "Emmy was that Tucker you kissed this afternoon?" Taz asked grumbling. Emery nodded her head yes "and he smells like daddy when we cuddle" Emery explained. The Quake men were not happy at all.

"I'm going to bed, I have to be early tomorrow so Tucker and I can play. I'm going to ask him to be my husband" Emery declared before trying to exit them room. The Quake's were in shock but Uncle Mike scooped his niece into his arms. There was no way he was letting this go at all. He needed to speak to Emery about this Tucker kid and he was also glaring at Kody. This was his fault because he was suppose to watch Emery, he shouldn't of allowed her near boys.

Uncle Mike looked down at Emery and spotted the bruises forming on her arm and he became furious. "What's that on your arm? Did Tucker and his friends do this?" Uncle Mike spat alerting all the Quake's to the marks which were visible. Emery shook her head no, she had forgotten about what happened with Miss Ando and how she hated school before meeting Tucker. "Tucker saved me from the mean teacher and he got mister Tristan and mister Kody for me" Emery replied. Uncle Mike and Emery talked about how she hated school until she met Tucker and his friends. She agreed to have a snack and dinner before bed so she had the energy to play with Tucker in the morning as long as she got to go early.

Uncle Mike sent Bentley off with Emery to get some snacks while he talked to Kody to find out what the hell was going on. "I didn't know the teacher put marks on her I swear. Miss Ando was her name and she was fired immediately. Tucker is a members kid as is Paulo and Lucas. I have seen them around and I didn't know Emery was told I like men" Kody rushed out. Uncle Mike sighed, he really couldn't blame a grown man for this at all. "Emery wants Tucker to come over and play" Bentley stated while walking back into the room after all, Emery would only eat until Bentley agreed to tell them all Tucker had to come over. Jasper huffed, he could intimidate the kid if he came over but he didn't want to upset Emery at all. She hadn't been this happy since she was with them as a baby. Uncle Mike just nodded and continued to sulk that his niece was interested in boys. This was not how they hoped her first day of school went.
