Finding Emery

When the bell rang for play time Emery still hadn't touched her food. Miss Ando stormed over for the girl and began to scream, "you will not disrespect me like that. You will be sitting outside and not playing until you eat your lunch" Miss Ando yelled. Emery shook her head no, she couldn't eat now especially when she was upset otherwise she would vomit. Miss Ando was furious and grabbed hold of Emery's arm and the lunch box and dragged Emery outside dropping her on a bench near the staff room. "This is the naughty chair you stay here until you eat" Miss Ando yelled dropping the little girls lunch box next to her and storming off.

Emery's arm was really sore and she started to rub where the teacher had held because it was red and hurting. She now had more tears running down her face and snot dripping out of her nose. There were lots of kids on the playground and they were all looking at her laughing. Emery tried to make herself smaller so she could disappear. She hated school and never wanted to come back again. She didn't even know where Tristan was to tell him to call mister Kody.

Emery stood up so she could go look for Tristan but immediately Miss Ando saw her. "Sit down you stupid child. You were told not to move until you eat your bloody lunch" Miss Ando screamed causing more students to look towards Emery. Emery sat back down and tried to disappear into the wall behind her.

Three older boys walked over to the little girl after seeing the mean teacher yelling at her. "Why don't you just eat the food?" One of the boys asked. "I feel sick" Emery whispered. "I want mister Tristan to call mister Kody. I want to go home to uncle Mike" Emery cried to the older boy. "Get away from that girl" Miss Ando screamed before grabbing Emery's arm and dragging her away from the boy again. The boys didn't listen though and sat down next to Emery who was now on the step crying harder and clutching her arm.

"I'm Tucker, this is Lucas and Paulo we are 9. What's your name?" Tucker asked. "Emery Quake I'm 6, I think" Emery whispered. She thinks that uncle Mike had said she was 6 but she wasn't sure because she was getting a headache from crying. "Did you say Emery Quake?" Tucker asked and Emery just nodded while wiping her nose in her shirt. "Lucas you better go get your dad quickly" Tucker stated. Tucker was one of the members kids and he was worried because no one ever put their hands on the Quake's and yet Miss Ando just had.

Lucas took off to get get his dad Tristan. He too was worried because he had seen the marks on the little girls arms. "Can I see your arm?" Tucker asked Emery when he saw the little girl rubbing it again. Emery lifted her arm to show Tucker the mark from Miss Ando. "Did she do that?" Tucker asked when he saw the bruises, Emery nodded her head. "Mister Kody won't be happy" Emery mumbled. "Who is mister Kody?" Tucker asked. "He is my husband well when I get big we are going to get married. He works with my uncle and brothers" Emery explained.

Tristan came running towards Emery and Tucker just as Miss Ando began to yell at the little girl again. "Get away from her now" Tristan barked out causing Emery to jump and fall off the step she was sitting on. Tucked picked the little girl up and held onto her while her little body was shaking. He couldn't help but smile at how the little girl fit into his body when he held her. She also smelt like strawberries which was his favourite food. "Hey Emery it's ok. I won't let her hurt you again" Tucker stated. Lucas and Paulo were standing next to Tucker as well while Tristan was yelling at Miss Ando.

Kody came running onto the playground with Bentley right beside him. They had been spending the day together when Kody got a text message from Tristan saying he was needed at the school immediately. Tucker looked up to see Kody coming towards them all and smiled. "Emery, is that mister Kody?" Tucker asked the small girl who had began to relax in his hold. Emery looked up and saw Kody and Bentley coming towards them holding hands. Emery nodded her head yes. "I don't think you can marry mister Kody" Paulo stated. "Why?" Emery snapped, that was her future husband and she was going to have babies with him.

Paulo went red when Emery stated she was going to have Mister Kody's babies. You see Paulo was adopted and had two dads. He knew when he saw mister Kody holding the other man's hand, that mister Kody liked boys and not girls like his dads. "Umm mister Kody wants a relationship with another boy not a girl" Paulo explained. "Oh" Emery replied just as Kody got for the group.

"Princess Emery, are you ok?" Kody rushed out seeing the little girls swollen red eyes and tears on her face. "Tucker saved me" Emery mumbled before pushing her face back into Tucker's shirt. She liked that he smelt like washing power. It reminded her of her daddy. "Come here Emmy, let's check you out" Bentley stated. Emery didn't want to let go of Tucker at all, she felt safe. "I'll hold your hand if you want" Tucker stated before his cheeks began to heat up. "Promise?" Emery asked causing Tucker to nod.

Bentley checked on Emery while Tristan and Kody dealt with Miss Ando. They had taken her to the office to have her dealt with. Kody had also informed Michael of what had gone down and he was furious demanding that Miss Ando be brought to the cellars to be dealt with. Kody and uncle Mike didn't know she had actually left marks on Emery's arm.

Bentley informed Emery she would have a few bruises but she was ok to go play with her friends if she wanted. "You can play with us Emmy" Tucker whispered to her. Emery nodded her head and took off with Tucker, Lucas and Paulo. Bentley picked up Emery's lunch box and headed to find Kody and Tristan. "Emery didn't eat besides some strawberries" Bentley told Kody and Tristan when he found them. "I'll offer her time after lunch" Tristan replied before excusing himself to go supervise the kids on the playground. He was worried Emery might get hurt again.
