Finding Emery

Once Taz had Emery in his arms he moved out of the bathroom and into the hallway. Emery froze with all the people around. They had lowered their guns but were still awaiting orders from the boss. "Emery, Taz is going to walk you along the wall and you are to check if you know any of these men. If you do, nod your head at them and I'll deal with it personally" Michael seethed out. He wouldn't have Emery being put at risk again due to another red snake member.

Emery didn't want to look at people, she wanted to hide because she was scared. The people with the red snakes made them run and took her daddy from her. "Hey baby, I'll be with you" Taz whispered to his sister trying to offer some comfort.

The men lined up against the wall and Taz began to slowly walk down the line of men. Some men were glaring at Emery especially the newer members because they had no idea who she was. Others like Kody, who had been around when she had previously stayed smiled kindly at the little girl.

Emery was looking at people a few people in front of where she was so she didn't have to look anyone in the eyes. When she noticed a man trying to get into a room she didn't understand why. Emery tugged on Taz's shirt causing him to look down at the little girl who was burying herself in Taz's chest. "What's wrong Emery? Is this someone you know?" Taz asked. Emery pointed to the door that the man had disappeared in to.

"We can go back to bed soon baby, we need to just finish this" Taz explained. Emery shook her head no but she didn't really want to speak in front of everyone. "Who was that man that went in there?" Emery whispered. Michael immediately entered the room seeing one of his men on the phone. He walked over to the guy and held his gun to his head. "Drop the phone" Michael barked out. The guy dropped the phone and Michael immediately stood on the phone breaking it instantly.

"Get the fuck out of this room" Michael boomed out. Taz was still holding Emery in his arms when Michael marched the guy out. Taz had his hand over Emery's ear trying to stop her from hearing what uncle Mike was saying. "Emmy do you know this man?" Michael barked out. The guy sneered at Emery hoping she would keep her mouth closed. "Red snake on his neck" Emery mumbled. She had seen him with her mummy when her mum had got the white powered.

The guy smirked because he had covered the tattoo with some concealer so no one would know at all. Michael looked at the guys neck and couldn't see anything at all. He did not question Emery though because clearly she had reacted to this guy for a reason. "See kid no snake" the guy said when Michael hadn't made a move to get rid of him. "Make up" Emery mumbled. She always could tell when someone had makeup on because her mum had showed her how to use make up when she was little to cover bruises she would get from the people with the red snake would come around when he daddy was at work.

"Get me a cloth now" Michael barked out when he saw the guy pale at Emery's words. "I'll fucken kill you, you little bitch" the guy screamed before lunging for Emery. Kody moved quickly blocking the guy from reaching Taz and Emery. Kody and the guy ended up on the ground with punches being thrown. Emery was screaming because she was scared.

Kody managed to get the upper hand and knock out the guy who Emery identified. By now another man had got a cloth and had handed it to Michael. Michael grabbed the guys neck and wiped the guys neck. He saw the make up come off and the snake on his neck just like Emery had said. "Take him to the cells" Michael seethed out.

Kody stood up and had a split lip. Emery was watching Kody and was worried for him. "My husband is hurt" Emery screeched out when she saw the blood on Kody's face. Emery wanted to be put down so she could help Kody seeing he was hurt.

Several of the members were watching curiously seeing she had called Kody her husband. "Hey, princess Emery, I'm ok" Kody stated seeing Emery getting upset. "The red snake hurt you too. Do we need to run again?" Emery asked watching Kody. She was panicking a lot that the bad people had found them. "No princess, me and your family will keep you safe" Kody assured the little girl.

"Who the fuck is she?" One of the new guys asked. Emery was wiggling wanting to get down. Taz put her on the ground and she held onto Kody's hand and pulled him to the guy who had sworn at her. "Who the fuck are you?" Emery asked trying to seem intimidating. Kody tried to stop himself laughing at the little girl but also glared at the guy who had first asked the question.

The guy glared at Emery not knowing who the hell she was. He was pissed at the little girl. Michael was not happy that Emery was swearing at all. "Emery you will not say bad words" Michael scolded her. "He did it first" Emery stated before stomping her foot. "You're dead kid" the guy mumbled thinking that the boss was going to knock her for six. Michael glared at the guy before saying "Julian, you will not swear around my niece". The guy known as Julian paled hearing this was the bosses niece.

Emery stuck her tongue out at the guy she now knew as Julian. He also had got in trouble. "Where is your red snake?" Emery asked Julian. "I don't have one" Julian answered. Emery hummed not sure if it was true or not. She knew what she had to do and immediately stomped on the guys foot just like she had seen her daddy do. Then she kicked him in the shins causing Julian to glare at her. When Julian didn't fall like the guy did when her daddy did it, she smiled shyly at Kody who was looking at her amused. "When daddy did it, they fell" Emery explained causing Kody to burst out laughing. Michael was smirking at his niece seeing she was trying to be tough. He was a little proud of the girl even though she couldn't hurt a fly.
