All I Wanted

ONE YEAR LATER

The fresh smell of the woods and the sound of the water from the river woke me up as I stretched my hands to see the most beautiful creature staring at me.

“Why are you staring?” I smiled and asked and he also smiled.

“I can't stop staring at you because you're the most beautiful person I have ever come across and I'm lucky to have you” Chase said and placed a kiss on my baby bump that has now grown really big, I giggled and he brought his head up to mine and placed a soft kiss on my lips.

“I wish I could F**k you right here and right now but I'm scared I might hurt our baby” he pouted as his fingers traced throug my belly.

“We'll you'll just have to wait till we get back to California and I give birth to our beautiful baby” I said and tried to stand up from the bed but it was really difficult so I laid back on it.

Last month I had questioned Chase about his safe house and to my surprise he said it was still okay and he used to go there once in a while so I had made him bring us here even if it was just two weeks to be away from the world and just play a little with nature.

“Let me help your fat a*s get up” he said and I laughed, he had been so nice and charming after our wedding and I thank goodness everyday that I didn’t end up with that monster.

He helped me up from the bed and we went to the kitchen, he had made some food last night so we just had to eat what wa left and head back to California.

After eating we both had our bath, but he was the one who bathed me like I was some sort of baby.

We got into the car after the long hours I spent on making my makeup and hair done, he couldn't stop complaining about how lazy and how fat I had suddenly become but every time he brought up the issue I would always remind him that he was the one who f****d me without a condom.

He would groan loudly anytime I said that but it made me want to say it the more.

It was a pretty long drive and he cussed on why we hadn't just taken a plane throughout the flight despite the fact that I kep on assuring him that I was fine and okay with it.

“What if our baby doesn't like road trips?” He fumed and I wondered if a man's character also changes to that of a baby whenever his wife is pregnant.

“Ym fin..." I immediately threw up in the car cutting myself off.

“Oh F**k it! I told you the baby song like it and we should have taken a plane” he angrily and irritatingly yelled but I kept quiet without saying a word as I was still feeling nauseous.

“We'll hopefully get home sooner if there's no traffi...” I cut him short as I barfed in the car again and this time he slapped his forehead.

“goddamn!” He silently exclaimed and I wiped my mouth.

We got to the house and the new nanny that Chase had gotten ran towards us as she helped me walk away from the car into the house.

“Ym going to go clean that stinky mess my beautiful wife made in the car, you're lucky you're beautiful” he pouted and grabbed some materials he would be needing to clean the mess up.

I wanted to stand and stay outside with him but my waist responded otherwise and the nanny advised me to not be in the sun else it would cause a bad luck.

Leni was a really great and kind woman that believed in great superstitions because she came from Philippines and they were known to believe in luck and other supernatural things.

I didn’t want to be rude and besides my waist was getting tired and weak already so I decided to follow her in.

Ever since Chase hired her she had been taking good care of me and have been performing the role of a mother towards me and Chase, for the first time ever I saw Chase being kind and nice to someone that wasn't me or my father he had also proved to have a liking for her and I was glad.

I had caught my Dad stealing glances at Leni a lot of times he would come visiting and if it was to be another woman I woul mind but since it was Leni I think I'm okay with it.

“How was the trip dear?” She asked while shoving some rice into a plate for me, I really enjoy the food she cooks and I hope would be chanced to visit the Philippines one day.

“It was great” I flashed her a smile and immediately started to eat out of the food before me.

“That's good to know” she said and got up from the chair she sat on.

I finished the food on time and saw Chase as he opened the door, I stood up to go meet him but immediately fell on the ground hitting my stomach.

I yelled in pain as Justin and Leni ran towards me trying to get me up but the pain in my stomach kept on increasing and it felt like I was going to pass out.

“Chase blood” Leni gasped while pointing at my gown which was now stained with blood and Chase was immediately shocked.

He used all of his might to Lift me off from the ground and into his car,Leni came rushing behind as she started to pray that nothing bad happens to me.

I continued to groan in pain throughout the ride and I could see the amount of sweats that were on Chase's and Leni's face till we got to the hospital.

I was immediately admitted into the emergency unit and doctors gathered around me to relieve me off my pain, they asked just Chase to come along with me while Leni waited behind.

“We'll have to operate on her and save the baby, hopefully she would be alive”
