All I Wanted

Different decorations hung all over the living room, the maids seemed to be very busy as they ran from one place to another and everything looked really colourful unlike the regular white and black living room.

It's my wedding shower today and Justin had made sure to plan everything well in such a short period of time, he had even given some of his workers a day off so they would not miss the wedding shower.

I thought wedding showers weren't meant to be a big party but everything in front of me seemed really overwhelming.

I remembered when we got engaged which was some days ago and now it's the wedding shower tomorrow it's going to be our wedding.

I didn't even think of what I would wear, o had thought Justin would have had it covered but that was foolish of me because he hasn't even fully recovered.

I walked to my room and went through my closer but I couldn't find anything appropriate for this occasion to wear.

I thought I could go for some shopping and then I would find the perfect clothe for me. I made for Justin's room to inform him of where I would be going to.

I opened the door without knocking and I saw him sitted and busy on his laptop, he rose his head and shoved the laptop aside immediately he noticed my presence.

“Hey!” I said to him.

“My love, how are you doing”

“Ym fine" I said and there wasn't more to say as the room became suffocating.

“So why are you in my room this early or you just couldn't wait for the wedding night?” He teased and I let out a faint laugh. “I actually want to go get somethings I would need tonight” I informed him and his brows furrowed. It was clear that he didn't like the idea of me going out but at the same time I can't just stay inside the mansion forever.

“I want to get some clothes I would wear tonight for the wedding shower” I said and he scratches the back of his head.

“It's co.cool” he stuttered and I reached to place a kiss on his cheek with a smile on my face.

He flushed immediately and let out a chuckle, “I'll be right back” I said and left the room.

I was debating on which store to go to while I was driving but I couldn't just make up my mind, i played some Westlife music in my car as I vibe to the old song.

My eyes suddenly caught a dress that immediately bought my attention by the road and I hurriedly pulled my car over.

I entered the store and was greeted by the friendly and warming smiles of the workers,

A worker was assigned to me after some questions were being thrown to me about my taste in fashion and I was liking the store already.

“I bet you'd love this” he waved his hands in a dramatic way and yes he was right because I loved the dress before me.

“Can I try it on?" I asked and he dragged my hands towards a dressing room.

“Sure, you can try it on, tell me if you need any help honey” he said and adjusted his gelled hair that rested on his face.

I entered the dressing room and pulled off my clothes to wear the new one, when I was done I came out of the room and his eyes were wide agape at the sight of me.

“Oh my f****g gosh honey, you look so pretty and gorgeous with a spike of breathtaking” he complemented with his hands on his mouth and his legs crossed.

“Thank you, I guess I will be going for this” I said and he dragged my hands back to the reception.

The dress surprisingly cost a lot but it also worths it, in paid for the dress and a heel that I had also chose earlier and waved the man goodbye and in return he sent air kisses.

I got into my car and headed back to the mansion, I'm sure they were still preparing for the wedding shower and it looked like they were also preparing for the wedding in a beautiful church hall down the street.

I got to the mansion and parked my car beside a very sleek Range Rover that I don't know who it belonged to but I suspecte that guests were arriving already.

As I was about to enter the house I bumbed into a young lady that was holding a child in her hands, her face looked familiar even though she was on a black scarf that covered her hair.

The child's face also looked familiar and when he flashed his teeth at me I recognized who he was but it was too late as they had already gotten into the expensive Range Rover that was parked beside my car.

I wondered what she was doing here but I immediately shoved the thought away, she was probably a neighbor that came to congratulate Justin.

I entered the house and it looked flashier than I had left it I like colours but this one here looked too overboard.

My stomach growled and I realized that I haven't had anything to eat so I went into the kitchen, I saw some snacks that were meant for tonight but I took some out of it, anyway it was still my wedding shower.

After I finished the really tasty snacks I headed to my room and took a quick bath, I wore a plain jean and a tank top that made me comfortable.

I thought if meeting Justin and letting him know I had arrived so I went to his room and opened the door without also knocking.

He seemed to be on a call but immediately he saw me he silently told the other person on the phone that he would call bac and he hanged up.

“Is everything okay?" I asked and he nodded his head while sucking on his lips.

“Sure! You're back, how was it” he asked

“Ym sure you would love the dress but then you would only get to see it when it's time for the wedding shower” I smiled and he pouted his lips.

“Oh come on! It's not fair” he protested but I wasn't going to mind him so I made my way outside the room leaving a smiling man behind.

It was time for the wedding shower and different guests with strange faces were all around but I couldn't find Justin's parent anywhere, maybe they would come for the wedding itself.

I greeted all the faces that were smiling at me as I walked towards Justin making sure he noticed my dress.

He smiled immediately he saw me but his smile fell on seeing my dress, he seemed to be shocked but soon recovered as he faked a smile towards me.

I wondered if the dress wasn't good enough or what else could be the reason for his attitude, I was about to talk to him about his attitude but I was cut off by some men in expensive tuxedos who seemed to be Justin's friends.

I excused them and went to stand at a corner hoping that I would see either Kate or Susan but I knew Susan wouldn't be able to make it because of her baby so I think I should expect just Kate.

My attention diverted to a figure that was standing at a corer in the other side of the room and it seemed like the man's attention was also on me.

He kept on staring at me and I decided to move closer to him,my body kept on telling me to stay still but I insisted on going The closer I got to him the closer I realized that he was someone I know, Chase.

I froze on the spot not wanting to move any closer but when he realized I wasn't coming towards him he started to move closer to me.

My breath seized and it was a kind there wasn't any air around me, “Jane!” His husky voice whispered against my neck,f**k h was so close to me.

He slipped his hands around my waist and fear caught me, what if Justin sees us.

I pulled myself away from his grip and ran outside the house, what does he think he is he hurts me and then come back thinking I would let him hurt me again? No I don't think this would happen.

I got to the garden and slumped on the floor since this seemed to be my daily routine, I cried my heart out knowing full well that I had destroyed my makeup but I didn’t mind.

“You still won't forgive me?”
