Although Miranda packed light when she came home, she left dragging a full suitcase.

Madison heard the news and was already waiting to pick Miranda up at the train station in her new BMW 3 Series.

Yes, Madison had bought herself a car too.

Mason had initially planned to get her a Ferrari. He even had his eye on a model called “LaFerrari“. He didn’t know much about cars, but he knew money. Choosing the most expensive one was the safest bet!

However, Madison declined his offer. Her reason was that she had to keep a low profile as a student.

In the end, she went to the car dealership herself and got a BMW, opting for a model that was more value–for-

After swiping her card, she turned and asked, “Seb, don’t you think I’m good at managing my finances?”

“By the way, don’t you want to get a car too? It’s pretty far from the apartment to the lab. It must be tiring to squeeze the subway on the way there and get a cab back each time.”

Sebastian opened his mouth wordlessly, as he didn’t know where to begin explaining.

Seeing this, Madison thought he might be short on money. After a thought, she offered, “How about I buy one for you?”

A car worth two or three hundred grand wasn’t too expensive.

Sebastian quickly waved his hands. “No, that’s not necessary.”
