Thrown Away

It had been three months since Myles, Finn and baby Jai had arrived at Tex's club. All the members accepted all three as family immediately and Myles was learning the ropes to take over as president when his uncle Tex stood down. Everyone had been welcoming but for the first 6 weeks after Finn got out of the infirmary, Finn locked herself and Jai in the granny flat and didn't come out.

Finn was scared of people and what they would do to her and her son. She knew none of these people were her old club, but she couldn't help it. When men approached her she flinched and if she was holding Jai and a strange man would approach, he would scream blue murder. Jai too was scared of men he didn't know. He was also scared of loud noises and screaming.

Myles, Tex and Aunty Sally tried to coax Finn out of the little granny flat, but she point blank refused. Sally used Jai to try to get her out which lead to her letting Myles, Sally or uncle Tex take Jai in the back yard walking him around. Jai seemed to love the walks except if club brothers came over to talk to whoever was holding him and then he would scream blue murder. Soon the brothers knew to stay 10 feet away from the baby. Finn would watch through the window, she never wanted Jai out of her site.

Eventually Finn agreed to join the walks in the yard. Jai would hold on tight to whoever was carrying him. He would scrunch his little hands into the shirt and look around in wonder which caused Finn to smile. Finn was calmest when Jai was happy. She still blamed herself for him being hurt and to see that he was physically ok and happy, soothed her soul. But she knew that emotionally both of them were far from ok.

Jarrod and Taylor turned up every week trying to talk to Finn, but each time they arrived, she locked herself in the granny flat and the brothers stood at the fence not allowing them entry. Neither got the hint they weren't welcome here. From what Myles and Tex heard, Jarrod's club lost a lot of the old members because of what he did to Finn. None of the older brothers wanted to stay at a club who was known to beat women and kids. Last they heard Louise was in prison and her mother and brother disappeared which was code for been kept to torture.

Today had been a good day for Finn, she had spent some time with her Aunty and a few of the other old ladies. They took her to get more things for Jai. He was growing like a weed and needed new clothes. It was just an excuse to get her out of the club house and show her how strong she really was. Now Finn was sitting in the club house next to Myles who was playing with Jai. The other brothers were watching on knowing not to get to close to Finn or Jai. The most interaction she had was a hi to a few of the brothers she knew that had been around when she was growing up. Finn had physically healed which had taken a very long time, but she was still traumatised.

"Oi Myles, someone here to see you" one of the prospects called out. Myles had a road name, savage, but when Finn was around the guys tried to use first names especially because she was still unsure of the club. Her experience with clubs had ended in her being hurt and they wanted the warrior princess, as they called her, to feel safe. "Send em in" Myles called back while still blowing raspberries on Jai's little tummy. This resulted in Jai squealing in delight and grabbing handfuls of Myles' hair. Finn would laugh and have to untangle Jai's hands from his uncles hair. Myles loved hearing the sound of his sisters laugh and his nephew's and god knew they deserved the happiness. Even the other brothers sat quietly listening to the pair laugh.

Tama had grown up around Myles and Jarrod. He was a club kid and had always promised to come back after he was sent away so he could join Myles at the club. He had run into an old mate who told him that Myles had left the snipers. Tama who had been ordered to stay away from the snipers after he wanted to ask Finn out. When he heard Myles had left for another club he jumped at the chance to finally become a brother.

"I heard you left the snipers but I didn't realise it was for an old lady and a baby" Tama called out to his friend while heading towards the guy. Finn stiffened her body hearing the name of the club that caused her and her son so much damage. She didn't know who this guy was at all but he was getting closer and that wasn't ok. She also grew up around Tama but he was a lanky kid and she hadn't seen him in close to 5 years.

Myles felt his sister stiffen and jumped up placing his body in between his sister and Tama. "Tama" Myles stated. Jai should have been crying by now but for some reason he was just staring at the new man while holding onto Myles' shirt. "Who is the lucky lady? Mate, I'm not going to steal her, fuck you are like Jarrod" Tama stated.

Finn's body shook with fear of that name being mentioned. She was scared that this man was going to send her back so Jarrod could claim her and hurt her and her baby some more. She wasn't stupid, she knew that he had every intention of trying to claim her to get to her son. "Tama you remember Finn? This is her son Jai" Myles stated and then looked at his sister who was clearly lost in a bad memory.

"No fucken way? Little Finlay a mumma, Jarrod would be pissed" Tama laughed not realising he was digging a bigger hole for himself. Finn's entire body was shaking and Sally was trying to calm her down but it wasn't working. Myles saw her distress and immediately handed her Jai knowing it would help calm his sister down.

The minute that Jai was in Finn's arms she took off not looking at anyone in the club. She went straight back to her little granny flat locking herself and Jai in. God only knew how long it would take to coax her out of there again.

"Tama learn to shut up man" Myles barked. "What?" Tama asked. He had no idea why every person in the club looked like they wanted to kill him. Even the old ladies were sporting the same look. "What's wrong with Finn? She never use to shut up" Tama asked. Myles was in for a long night so decided to fill Tama in. Tama had been his best mate growing up along with Jarrod but when Jarrod found out Tama was crushing on the girl he wanted, he got his dad to send his family away.

To say Tama was pissed was an understatement. He was glad Jarrod wasn't around cause he would put him on his arse. He wanted to go knock on Finn's door and tell her he wasn't Jarrod, he wouldn't hurt her or her baby but knew that would just scare her more.

But it seemed luck was on his side because the next minute a prospect walked in saying "weekly visit and he is off his face". "Right Jarrod is here again, you all know what to do" Tex called out before all the brothers and Tama went outside. Tama couldn't wait to see the mother fucker. Oh Tama was going to have some fun with this.
