The Rebellious Omega

Chapter 102

King Braedon POV

I exploded. I lost control of myself completely in my rage. One second James was staring at my human form, sitting comfortably on my seat, and then the next second I had shifted without consideration, my wolf leaping onto the table and breaking it in half, James awkwardly leaping out of the way as chaos ensued as I lost the fight to maintain my composure. My wolf was seething. It was one thing for it to only be a minimal number of packs but from the sounds of it, there was more than a fair few ignoring my law. This had to How dare they ignore the laws that I have established. How dare they go against me, their Alpha King.

stop.

They shall learn what it means to betray the one who is their king. I shall make an example of these packs and prove to them all what it means to disobey their King and the one who is the most powerful of all the Alpha's.

Kill them, kill them all. Show them no mercy, show them no consideration. Give them all what they truly deserve.

I will spare no one who deserves to feel my wrath I vowed to my wolf, both of us bloodthirsty and filled with rage. We gave a snarl, the sound drifting through the study and heading out into the main part of the pack house which stilled everybody in their tracks. Slowly, our anger diminished. I came back to my senses and saw that the room was filled with broken debris and there were claw marks all along the walls. Paintings were torn to shreds and furniture was broken into bits. My chest was heaving and my paws nails were shredded.Visit Jo bnib.com to read the complete sentences for free.If you are not reading this novel on Jo b nib.com, some paragraphs are incomplete. I snarled and then shifted back to human form, sinking into the only chair that wasn't broken, while James blinked at me. "Okay," he said slowly "I guess I should have told you about these packs a little more gently."

I shot him a look "Or maybe you could have told me sooner. How many packs in total are not abiding by the laws?" He grimaced "Fifteen."

"Fifteen" I roared "Son of a b***h" I cursed.

He flinched "In the whole country that is actually not too bad" he commented trying to soften the blow somewhat as I looked at him incredulously.

"It's not good enough" I growled "and they're going to know about it. Tomorrow I am going to The Silver Fog Pack and seeing for myself what they are up to. Uninvited and in disguise" I added darkly.

"How are you going to accomplish that? Everybody knows that you have a wolfless mate now, so you can't take Blair it will be a dead giveaway" James said with wide eyes "and there's no way she'll let you go by yourself."

"We won't tell her" I snapped "I'll merely say I have business to attend to."

"If you go by yourself it will be suspicious," James said quietly and I knew he was right.

"What do you propose I do?" I growled.

I didn't like the idea of leaving Blair behind while we had somebody sneaking around and leaving little clues behind, but I also couldn't allow my important work to lag either. I had responsibilities and I was feeling torn. "I'll have extra guards stationed around Blair so you won't have to worry about her" James assured me "but I suggest you take somebody pretending to be your mate so that the Alpha of the pack doesn't get suspicious."

"I can't do that" I snarled "It would be like betraying Blair. It's not possible and there's no way my wolf would allow it."

You so much as think of taking another woman and pretending she's our mate I'll literally claw the b***h to shreds in front of the other Alpha. I don't care if you're trying to be in disguise. Alright, I get it. We'll think of something else.

Good, I won't betray our mate like that. She deserves better than that. I don't even like the idea of leaving her behind.

"I go solo but with other pack members as part of the disguise" I allowed "It's lucky that Blair and I haven't marked each other yet, so I don't have to contend with having to hide that at least." My voice dripped with irony.

"What are you going to do if they haven't abolished the breeding program?" James said sounding slightly panicked.

I smirked. My Beta should know full well what my wolf was capable of by now and shouldn't need to question me. The look in his eyes said he knew what I was going to say but I said the words anyway. "Then the Alpha and Luna die and somebody else more worthy of the title takes their place. If their family dies with them, then I choose the next heir and it will be someone who pledges their loyalty to me."

He just nodded. I glanced around at the room that looked like a tornado had swept through it and sighed. My wolf had let loose and now it would have to be cleaned up. I glanced down at myself wryly. I needed to get cleaned up as well and get dressed again. My clothes had been torn to scraps when I shifted. I stood up and eyed James. "Get this put back to rights and keep searching for the person responsible for the rattlesnake and dead cat," I said stiffly "as well as the one who poisoned that poor kid. I suspect they are all related. Do not take your eyes off Blair" I warned him and he put a hand to his chest.

"I will protect her with my life" he vowed and I knew he would.

"Oh and James," I said meaningfully as my friend stared at me, his eyes dark and filled with a hint of concern "Not a hint, not a word of where I'm going to Blair. The last thing I want is for her to become worried or try to get to the pack. Do you understand me?" I said frostily.

He gulped and nodded. I strode past him and opened the door, heading out into the hallways, ignoring the omegas who openly gaped at me as I strode up the stairs and headed to the bedroom, intending to change. I would get dressed and then I would research the Silver Fog Pack and it's Alpha. I wanted to be well prepared for when I visited tomorrow. Only a fool would go in blind and I was anything but a fool.
