The Palace Beast

The day dawned crisp and clear. The light of dawn seeped into Bonnie's chamber. She rubbed her bleary eyes and walked to the window. There was a pearly glow in the sky. Immediately seeing the sky, she remembered what happened last night. She thought it was a dream. But not quite long she saw her dagger on the table stained in her blood.

She quickly moved to the table as she slowly picked up the dagger. "It really happened."

She started looking around as if she was looking for someone but there was no one there. She was all alone. It's now clear to her it was a reality. She met with the Egyptian god of the afterlife. "Why me?" she whispered to herself.

Anubis led Horus, Nephthys, and Bestet to the gate of the underworld. The gate which was knocked down by Apollo has been fixed as Cerberus continued keeping watch on the gate of the underworld.

As Cerberus patrols by the gate, he caught a glimpse of Horus, Nephthys, and Bestet standing at the other side of the gate. "What are they doing here?" he mumbled to himself as he maintained his focus on them. "What should we do now?" Bestet glances at them.

"It's time to call out for Set to end his madness and to hand over my mother, Amun, Thoth, and Hathor, and to release all the lost souls of Egypt from this underworld to the afterlife." Horus boldly approaches the gate.

Bursting the gate open with a thunderstorm, Horus flew into the underworld and headed straight to Hades' throne hall. Cerberus went after him but couldn't reach him because he couldn't fly like Horus.

Anubis from behind, blasted Cerberus with a lightning blast before Cerberus could get up and fight back, Bestet and Nephthys held him by the tail and together they swung and slammed him to the gate. "We have just called for war," Bestes said as she glances Nephthys.

"This is what they will get if Hades fails to hand over Set and release the gods Set captured, including the lost souls that were meant to be in the afterlife," Nephthys replied. ...At Mount Olympus...

"Zeus, have you heard what has happened in the underworld?" Athena approaches Zeus followed by Orion and Hephaestus. "I came as soon as I heard."

The Underworld "How dare you come here uninvited?" Hades roared from his throne on seeing Horus flying towards him.

Horus landed before Hades and frowned at him. "You will do well to hand Set over to us and those gods he held prisoners in here, including the lost souls that were meant to be in the afterlife."

At Mount Olympus, Zeus was enraged after hearing what happened in the realm of Hades. He blamed Hades for letting the Egyptian god of war into the underworld with his captives and souls he traded with Hades for their deal. He feared that the Egyptian gods would make war with him and invade Olympus at any moment. He ordered Orion and Athena to travel to Egypt to invite Horus for a peace talk.

However, Zeus is unaware that Horus has taken a fight to the realm of Hades to rescue Set's captives and to free the lost souls from the underworld and send them to the afterlife where they belong.

His conversation with Orion, Hephaestus, and Athena was interrupted when Hermes and Dionysus walked in. "Zeus," Hermes called out as he quickly approaches him. "The underworld is in mayhem."
