The Lycan’s King Breeder

Chapter 75

Maximus POV.

Afterward, I lay there, breathless and satisfied, looking out at the stars through the open window.

Felicity turned to me.

"Promise me something maximus," she said after a few minutes.

"What is it?" I asked, rolling over to face her.

"Promise me that you'll always be honest with me, no matter what," she said. "I need to know that I can trust you completely."

"I promise," I said, taking her hand. "I will always be honest with you, Feli, no matter how hard it may be. You deserve nothing less than the truth."

"Thank you, Maximus," she said, leaning in to kiss me. "I love you so much."

"I love you too, Feli," I said, pulling her close. "Forever and always."

As we lay there, the weight of the promise I made to Felicity hit me. Being honest was not always easy, but it was necessary for a healthy relationship. I vowed to keep my promise and always communicate openly with her.

Felicity was my everything, and I never wanted to lose her. We had been through so much together, and I was grateful for every moment we spent together.

I looked up at the stars once again, feeling content and at peace. The future was uncertain, but with Felicity by my side, I knew we could conquer anything.

As I held her in my arms, I fell asleep, dreaming of the endless possibilities that awaited us.

****

I got up the next morning very early, so I could have some good time alone with my little me, I had to make up for lost time. I looked at Felicity who was sleeping peacefully, she was very cute as usual.

As I watched her sleep, I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed with emotions. I leaned in closer and placed a soft kiss on her forehead, trying my best not to wake her up. She mumbled something in her sleep, and I realized it was a declaration of love. It warmed my heart to know that despite everything I had put her through, she still loved me.

But at the same time, I felt a deep sense of guilt and shame. How could I have been so blind and foolish? How could I have hurt someone as pure and kind as Felicity? She deserved nothing but the best, and I had let her down in so many ways. I wanted to make her pay for the actions of my ex, but she was not my ex who had broken and humiliated me. She was a hundred thousand times better. Thinking about my ex was still breaking me until now, she was a real plague, a devil.

But as I reflected on her forgiveness and unwavering love for me, I felt blessed. She truly was an angel in my life, a ray of sunshine that brightened up even the darkest days. And from that moment on, I promised myself that I would never hurt her again, not even in thought.

As I sat there, watching her peaceful form, I knew that I had a lot of work to do. I needed to become a better person, someone worthy of her love and trust. And I was willing to do whatever it took to make that happen. With Felicity by my side, I knew that anything was possible.

I got up from bed and carefully picked up our little baby boy from his crib, trying not to wake him or Felicity. He was so tiny, yet so precious to us. I couldn't wait to see him grow up and become a man like his father.

As I sat down with him in my arms, I couldn't help but think about the fight between Adrian and me. It had caused a rift between the members of our team, and I could feel their avoidance towards me.

I smiled as I scooped up our son in my arms, feeling his little arms wrap tightly around my neck.

"You're up early," Felicity said, yawning as she sat up in bed.

"I couldn't resist spending some time with our little guy," I replied, grinning down at our son.

Felicity smiled back at me before leaning over to give him a kiss on the forehead.

"He's going to grow up to be just as handsome as his father," she said teasingly, causing me to laugh.

"You flatter me, my love," I replied, reaching for her hand. "But I hope he grows up to be kind and compassionate, like his mother."

But as I reflected on her forgiveness and unwavering love for me, I felt blessed. She truly was an angel in my life, a ray of sunshine that brightened up even the darkest days. And from that moment on, I promised myself that I would never hurt her again, not even in thought.

Felicity's eyes softened as she looked at our son. "I hope so too. And smart, like his father. He's going to have the best of both worlds."

We both chuckled and continued admiring the little bundle in our arms. Parenthood was a new adventure for us, but we were excited to take on the challenges and joys that came with it.

As we sat there, enjoying our family moment, I couldn't help but feel grateful for this beautiful life we had created together.

I cuddled our son close, not wanting to let go.

"Maximus, are you okay?" Felicity's voice interrupted my thoughts as she approached me rubbing her eyes. She was still sleepy.

"I'm fine," I said, looking up at her. "Just thinking about last night and everything that's happened."

"I know it's been tough," she said, sitting down next to me. "But I'm here for you, and so is our little one."

I smiled at her, feeling grateful for her love and support. "I know, and I appreciate it more than anything."

We sat in silence for a few moments before Kyle walked in, scowling at me. "I can't believe you hurt my sister like that. She deserves better than you."

"I love Felicity more than anything," I said, standing up to face him. "And I would never hurt her intentionally. You have to trust me on that."

"I don't trust you," Kyle said, his fists clenching. "You've already hurt her once before."

"I know," I said, trying to keep my cool. "But I've changed, and I'm not the same person I was back then. I'm committed to making things work with Felicity."

Just then, our baby boy started to cry, and Felicity picked him up, soothing him with her gentle touch. "Can we please stop fighting and focus on what's important? Our family and our future together."

I looked at her, feeling a sense of peace wash over me. She was right. Our family was what mattered most, and I was willing to do anything to protect it.
