The Lycan’s King Breeder

Chapter 70

Felicity POV.

I sat on the log, my head in my hands, tears streaming down my face. My baby was on the floor next to me. I had lost Maximus forever. He was dead. But then I heard his voice, trembling with emotion, calling my name.

"Felicity!"

I looked up, my eyes widening in shock. There he was, standing before me. Alive.

"Maximus," I breathed, my hands trembling as I looked up to see him standing before me.

He nodded, tears welling up in his eyes. "I'm alive," he said, taking a step towards me.

I stood up slowly, my eyes fixed on his. "I thought you were dead," I said, my voice choking with emotion.

He pulled me into his arms, holding me tightly. "I'm here," he said, his voice rough with emotion. "And I'm not going anywhere."

I felt my own tears spilling down my cheeks as I clung to him. It seemed like a dream, like something out of a fairytale. But here he was, alive and real in my arms.

"I'm so glad you're okay," I said, my voice thick with emotion.

He held me closer, pressing his lips against my forehead. "Me too," he whispered.

We stayed like that for what felt like an eternity, neither of us wanting to let go. I felt safe in his embrace, like nothing in the world could ever hurt me. Finally, he pulled away, wiping away my tears.

As our eyes met, I could feel the love radiating between us. We had been through so much together, and yet here we were, standing in front of each other, our hearts still connected despite the pain and suffering we had endured.

I could no longer ignore the emotions that had been building up inside of me. I leaned in and kissed him, our lips meeting tenderly at first, before our kiss deepened and we both realized just how much we had been missing.

This kiss was a celebration of our love, of the strength we had found in each other, and of the connection that had been forged between us in our darkest moments. As we finally parted, I knew that nothing could ever break the bond we had forged in that one moment. Together, we would face whatever lay ahead, secure in the knowledge that nothing could ever break the love we shared.

"Let's go home! In the castle." Maximus said showing me the way.

"I can't go back to the castle right now, Maximus," I said, looking up at him with determination. "I have a family now, a family that I can't leave behind."

He looked at me, surprised. "A family?" he asked.

I nodded, taking a deep breath. "Yes, a family. The League of Justice. They've become like family to me, and I can't just leave them now."

I basically explained to him what the LOJ was for.

"I understand," he said, smiling at me. "But we still have to finish this journey together, don't we?"

I smiled back, relieved that he understood. "Yes, we do. But I want you to come with me, to the LOJ HQ. I want you to meet my family, and I want them to meet you."

He nodded, a soft look in his eyes. "Of course, I'll come with you," he said, taking our baby in his arms. "Let's finish this journey together."

And with that, we set off towards the LOJ HQ. As we walked, Maximus played with our baby, making him laugh and smile. I could see the joy in his eyes as he held our child, and it warmed my heart.

"He looks so much like me," Maximus said, looking down at our baby.

I couldn't help but grin. "I know. It's like he knew all along that you were his father."

Maximus looked up at me, pride shining in his eyes. "I'm so proud to be his father. And I'm so grateful that you and he are alive."

Maximus looked over at me, a smile on his face. "I missed you," he whispered.

I laughed, feeling a wave of relief wash over me. "I'm just amazed. Pinch me, I feel like this can't be real."

Maximus reached over, taking my hand in his. "It's real. We're a family now."

And I knew that he was right. No matter what had happened in the past, we were now united as a family, and nothing could ever break that bond.

We finally arrived at the LOJ HQ, and as we walked in, my heart swelled with joy. My friends, Ava, Agent Kim, Agent Brown, and Molly were all there, along with my brother Kyle and Adrian my new best friend. "Felicity!" they all exclaimed as we walked in.

I smiled, feeling the love and warmth radiating from them. "I'm so glad to see you all," I said.

"I can't go back to the castle right now, Maximus," I said, looking up at him with determination. "I have a family now, a family that I can't leave behind."

Kyle walked up to me, concern etched on his face. "What happened? Adrian and I looked for you. Are you okay?"

Before I could even respond, Adrian rushed over to me, his arms wrapping tightly around me. "Feli! Are you okay? I was so worried," he said, peppering my face with kisses.

I laughed, feeling grateful for Adrian's affection. "I'm okay," I said, hugging him back. "I had a bit of a scare, but I'm fine now."

Agent Brown cleared his throat, drawing our attention. "So, what happened? Did you find anything?"

Everyone listened intently, their expressions turning serious. "We'll have to look into this," Agent Kim said, her voice firm. "But, for now, let's just be glad that you're safe."

Ava rushed over to me and pulled me into a tight hug. "I'm so glad you're back, Feli," she said. "I was so worried about you."

I hugged her back, feeling overcome with emotion. "I'm glad to be back," I said, my voice barely above a whisper.

"What happened?" Everyone asked in chorus before they all burst out laughing.

Ooh my bad! I had missed them all.

I sighed, knowing I had to tell them everything. "It's a long story, but I'm alive thanks to someone," I said, looking over at Maximus who was out of the room.

I could see the excitement in their eyes as I teased them with the promise of a surprise. "Oh come on, tell us who it was!" Ava begged.

"It's a surprise," I repeated with a grin. "But trust me, you're going to be excited when you find out."

As I stepped out to take Maximus for a walk, I found him anxiously pacing back and forth. "Relax," I told him. "They're going to love you."

"I'm afraid of their reaction," he admitted.

I couldn't help but laugh at his honesty. "You're the lycan king, you're not afraid of anyone," I joked.

He laughed too, regaining his posture as the alpha. I gave him a kiss on the mouth before we headed back inside.

When Ava and Kyle saw Maximus, their smiles quickly faded. I could see the shock on their faces, and I knew what they were about to ask. "Maximus?" Ava asked.
