The Lycan’s King Breeder

Chapter 24

Felicity

POV.

As I continued to serve Alpha Grimmjaw, I still looked for any way out. I searched for weaknesses in his guards, for hidden exits in the castle, for anything that would give me a chance to escape. But it seemed as though there was no way out. Every day became a struggle for me. I was constantly on edge, waiting for my chance to flee. My heart raced at even the slightest sound, my hands shook with fear. And my belly was getting bigger and bigger, luckily Alpha Grimmjaw didn't notice. One day, as I was cleaning Alpha Grimmjaw's quarters, I heard a faint rumbling noise from the walls. At first, I thought it was just my imagination, but the noise grew louder and more persistent. Suddenly, I realized what it was - a secret passage! My heart leapt with hope. This was my chance.

I continued to clean as if nothing had happened, trying not to draw any attention to myself. I waited until evening, when Alpha Grimmjaw would be busy in his war room.

As soon as the coast was clear, I made my way to the wall where I heard the noises. I searched frantically, feeling along the cold stone, until my fingers found a small crevice. I pushed and pulled until the stone gave way, revealing a dark passage beyond. Just then, I heard a voice behind me.

"What are you doing?"

I turned around to see one of Alpha Grimmjaw's guards standing behind me, his expression suspicious.

"I-I was just cleaning," I stammered, hoping he would believe me.

But the guard wasn't fooled. "You're lying," he growled, stepping closer. "I know what you're up to. You're trying to escape."

My heart raced as I tried to think of a way out of this situation.

"I promise, I'm not trying to escape," I pleaded. "I just heard a noise and wanted to investigate. Please, don't tell Alpha Grimmjaw."

The guard hesitated, then finally nodded. "Fine, but I'll be watching you closely."

With that, he turned and walked away. I let out a sigh of relief and quickly made my way into the secret passage, careful to replace the stone so no one would suspect anything.

My heart pounding in my chest, I slipped inside and began to make my way through the winding tunnels. The darkness was oppressive, and I could hear the sound of my own breathing echoing in the narrow space.

Suddenly, I heard footsteps behind me. My heart raced as I realized that Alpha Grimmjaw had discovered my escape. I ran as fast as I could, praying that I would make it out alive.

Suddenly, I heard footsteps behind me. My heart raced as I realized that Alpha Grimmjaw had discovered my escape. I ran as fast as I could, praying that I would make it out alive.

Finally, I saw a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel. I burst through the passageway, panting and gasping for air.

And finally, after what felt like an eternity, I made it out alive.

I found myself outside the castle walls, the cool night air on my face. I realized that I was free - free from the clutches of Alpha Grimmjaw.

I collapsed on the ground, tears streaming down my face.

But they were tears of relief - relief that I was free from the clutches of Alpha Grimmjaw and his cruel regime.

As I walked away from the castle, I couldn't help feeling guilty for leaving behind the other prisoners who were still trapped there. But deep inside, I knew that the rebels would continue to fight for their freedom, and that one day, they too would be free. I looked up at the stars and whispered a silent prayer of gratitude for my newfound freedom.I squeezed Ava's jewels.

And as I walked into the night, I knew that nothing would ever be the same again.

I slowly opened my eyes and looked around, feeling disoriented.

"Where am I," I wondered.

I was lying on a bed in what appeared to be an infirmary. The room was dimly lit, and I could see medical equipment scattered around the room. The air was thick with the smell of antiseptic and disinfectant. I tried to sit up, but my body felt heavy. Suddenly, I heard footsteps outside. I jumped at the sudden sound and looked at the door, wondering if I should try to escape. But before I could make a move, a woman walked in and saw me. "Alpha Zarek, the girl woke up," she said.

I watched as a man entered the room. He was tall, broad-shouldered, and had a menacing look about him. Alpha Zarek.

Another alpha? I was cursed!

He looked at me and I immediately knew that I was in trouble. My belly, heavy with child, was exposed and vulnerable. I tried to sit up, but my body refused to cooperate. I looked up at him with fear in my eyes.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to intrude. I don't know how I got here." I seid, my voice sheking.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to intrude, I don't know how I got here." I said, my voice shaking.

Alpha Zarek said nothing and simply stared at me.

"You fell into a waterfall. The water took you to the beach where we found you," the woman explained.

I felt a wave of shame wash over me. How could I have been so careless? I had put myself and my unborn child in danger.

"What do you want from me?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.

Alpha Zarek didn't answer, but I knew the answer. I was at his mercy, and he was a cruel and ruthless man. I had heard rumors of his brutality in Alpha Grimmjaw castle and how he ruled his pack with an iron fist. I knew that I was in for a long and difficult journey. As he approached the side of my bed, a cold sweat broke out all over my body. I was helpless in this place and there was nothing I could do to change my fate. All I could do was pray that Alpha Zarek would have mercy on me and my unborn child.

Alpha Zarek finally spoke, his deep voice sending shivers down my spine. "What is your name and why were you wandering in our territory?" he asked, his gaze piercing.

I hesitated for a moment, unsure if I should tell him the truth or lie.

But then I remembered all the other Alphas who had wanted me as their breeder, and how they had treated me. I decided to lie.

"My name is Victoria and I was hiking when I fell into the waterfall," I replied, trying to keep my voice steady.

Alpha Zarek's eyes softened slightly at the mention of my name and he placed a hand on my belly. "You're carrying a child," he said, as if noticing it for the first time.

My heart raced as I feared for the safety of my unborn child. I didn't know what Alpha Zarek would do to us.

"Do not worry, Victoria. You and your child will be safe here," he assured me, surprising me with his unexpected kindness.

I breathed a small sigh of relief, feeling a glimmer of hope for the first time. But what he said next made my blood run cold.
