The Lycan’s King Breeder

Chapter 23

Felicity POV

"I'll do it," I said, my voice barely above a whisper. "But on one condition."

Alpha Grimmjaw raised an eyebrow. "And what's that?"

"I want to be treated with respect," I said, my voice steady. "I want to be treated like a human being, not a prisoner or a slave."

Alpha Grimmjaw chuckled. "You're in no position to make demands, Sarah," he said, his voice dripping with malice. "But I'll humor you. You want respect? Fine. You'll get it. But don't think that means you're free to do as you please. You're still mine, and you'll do what I say, when I say it."

I nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over me. At least I have some kind of leverage now.

As the days went by, I tried my best to hold up my end of the bargain. I cooked and cleaned for Alpha Grimmjaw and his guards, bearing the insults and abuse they hurled at me with as much dignity as I could manage.

But it was never enough. Alpha Grimmjaw always found something to be unhappy about, always found a reason to punish me.

One day, I was scrubbing the floors of his chambers when he walked in, his eyes fixed on me.

"Sarah," he said, his voice low and dangerous. "I think it's time we had a little fun."

My heart sank as I realized what he meant. He was going to hurt me, and there was nothing I could do to stop him.

"Please, Alpha," I begged, my voice trembling. "Don't do this."

But he didn't listen. He grabbed me by the hair, dragged me to my feet, and threw me onto his bed.

"Now, now," he said, a cruel smile playing across his lips. "Don't be shy, Sarah. You're mine, remember?"

I closed my eyes, praying for it to be over soon. But it seemed like it went on forever, his hands tearing at my clothes, his breath hot and heavy on my neck.

When he was done, he tossed me aside like a piece of garbage, a look of satisfaction on his face.

"You're mine, Sarah," he said, his voice low and menacing. "Never forget that."

I lay there, feeling violated and humiliated, tears streaming down my face. This was no life for anyone, let alone a pregnant woman.

But I refused to give up hope. Someday, somehow, I will find a way out of this nightmare. My life has been a nightmare since my stepfather sold me and I hate him for that.

I vowed to protect my unborn child and give them a better life than the one I had been forced into. I knew it wouldn't be easy, but I had to try.

As Alpha left the room, I began to plan my escape. I knew I couldn't do it alone, but who could I trust? Who would help me?

I thought of the other women trapped in this pack, all of them suffering as I was. Could they be the key to my freedom?

I made a decision. I would reach out to them, one by one, and try to gain their trust. Together, we could find a way to escape Alpha's grasp.

It would be a risky plan, but it was worth a try. For my unborn child, for myself, for all of us.

I wiped away my tears, determined to be brave. I would not let Alpha break me. I would fight until the bitter end.

I began by approaching the women I saw as potential allies. One by one, we met in secret and began to share our stories. I was surprised to find that many of them had been feeling the same way I had, that they too were desperate for a way out. One of the women, a fiery Omega named Lila, spoke up first. "I have a cousin who lives a few towns over," she said. "She owes me a favor. I could call her and see if she'll help us."

"That's a good idea," I said. "But how would we get there? We'd still have to get past the guards."

"I might be able to cause a distraction," another woman, a timid Beta named Sarah, offered. "I could cry and scream, make it look like I'm in trouble. It could draw the guards' attention away from us."

We continued to brainstorm, coming up with more and more ideas for how to escape. As we talked, I felt a glimmer of hope growing within me. Maybe we really could make it out of here.

But as we made our plans, things began to get more complicated. It turned out that one of the women we had approached was loyal to Alpha all along, and had been reporting back to him. And then, one night, we were caught.

I was dragged before Alpha, along with the other women who had been involved in our escape attempt. "You thought you could outsmart me?" he snarled. "You foolish little girls." Alpha bellowed, his voice echoing off the walls of the dungeon. "We were just trying to leave," I said, feeling a surge of anger and frustration. "You have no right to keep us here."

"I have every right," Alpha said, his face contorted with rage. "You are mine to do with as I please."

"I won't accept that," I said, my voice shaking. "None of us will. We deserve to be free."

Alpha's eyes narrowed. "You may be a defiant little Omega, but you are still just a weak little thing. You will always be under my control."

I wanted to argue back, to fight against his words, but I knew there was nothing I could say to sway him. He held all the power, and he was determined to keep us under his thumb.

As I dusted off Alpha's throne, I overheard a conversation between him and his men.

"Maximus's men are getting too close," Alpha Grimmjaw growled. "I want them to be stopped."

My heart skipped a beat as I heard the name Maximus. Could it be that he was looking for me?

"Understood, Alpha," one of the men said. "Consider them taken care of."

Panic set in as I realized what was happening.

With shaking hands, I gathered my courage and approached Alpha Grimmjaw.

"Alpha, may I ask a question?" I said, trying to keep my voice steady.

"What is it, Omega?" he sneered.

"I heard you mention the name Maximus. Who is he?" I asked, feigning ignorance.

"Why do you care?" Alpha said, eyeing me suspiciously.

"I just need to know," I said, desperation creeping into my voice.

Alpha hesitated for a moment before finally speaking. "Maximus is the Lycan king, he has been causing problems for us. He's been trying to overthrow us and take over control of our territory."

"He doesn't want anything more than that?" I asked, trying to keep my nerves in check.

"I don't know," Alpha replied, his tone becoming more menacing by the second. "But if he is, he's going to regret it. I won't let anyone threaten our rule."

With those words, Alpha turned away from me and walked off, leaving me with my thoughts and a growing sense of dread. It seemed that I was in more danger than ever before, caught between Alpha Grimmjaw and maximus. As I returned to my duties, I couldn't help but wonder what would happen next. Would Maximus find me? And if he did, what would he want from me?

I can't stay here any longer. But how would I escape Alpha's clutches?
