Chapter 18
Victor was waiting for me in another cool sports car parked in front of the school. The silver Lamborghini was a beautiful machine, but it had to have cost a fortune. Victor really liked to spend his money.
“I bought the car today,” Victor said with a proud smile. “Do you like it?”
“It’s great,” I said. It would have been meant to say no or make a big deal over the price of a car. It was Victor’s money. Who was I to judge how he spent it?
“Where are we going?” I asked as Victor climbed behind the car’s steering wheel.
“You’ll see.” He started the engine and gave me a sly smile.
Victor drove for over a half hour. I was mesmerized by the expert way he handled the car and didn’t notice much of the scenery until he pulled in front of a beautiful villa. The sign told me it was the workshop of a famous fashion designer.
I didn’t know there was such a thing as designer swimsuits. Rich people constantly surprise me.
Inside the villa, several staff members immediately flocked to Victor’s side. “What can we do for you today, Mr. Klein?” a pretty, well–dressed woman asked.
“Hello, Giselle,” Victor said. “My fiancé, Miss Wilson, needs a swimsuit for a party we are attending this weekend.” The woman looked at the brand of the shirt I wore and motioned for me to follow her to the rear of the shop.
“We have some truly amazing swimsuits that should be just what you’re looking for,” Giselle said. “They aren’t special order, but they will do very nicely.”
I looked around at the colorful racks of clothing. This designer made everything from evening wear to nightgowns to shiny black wetsuits.
Giselle looked me up and down before choosing two swimsuits off the racks, and then she led me into a dressing room.
She hung the swimsuits on a hook and told me to get undressed. “You’ll want a swimsuit in a color that works with your hair and skin tone.”
She handed me a hot bikini in a forest green color and a gold–toned, wraparound one- piece. “Try on these first.”
“They’re wonderful,” I said, feeling the golden fabric of the one–piece suit. “It’s is so soft

and smooth, and it glows like a jewel.”
Unfortunately, there wasn’t much fabric used to make these swimsuits, and it would cling to my figure everywhere.
I couldn’t let anyone see me in either of these suits. There must be something more modest on all these racks.

“All our swimsuits are made from a special fabric,” Giselle said. “I created it myself. The fabric clings to the contours of the b*dy and never wrinkles or bags. It dries quickly too. You’ll lo it.”
I spotted a rack of wetsuits and hurried over to them. One of them would fully cover my b*dy, and they were meant to swim in.
“Maybe one of these would be better for me,” I said and felt the long rubber sleeve of a wetsuit.
“No, Daisy.” Victor took my hand and led me back to the dressing room. “Don’t be silly. You can’t wear a wetsuit to a pool party.”
“A wetsuit is for diving in the ocean,” Victor explained. “You can’t wear that ugly thing. William would think you were crazy if you wore that to his pool party. Try on the suits Giselle chose for you. She has exquisite taste.”
The first suit I tried on was the green bikini. It was a gorgeous color and was well–made.
But when I looked in the mirror, I gasped. Most of my b*dy was exposed for anyone to see. I couldn’t believe how much of my breasts were showing. I may as well be n*ked!
“Let us see how it looks, Miss Wilson,” Giselle said and pulled back the privacy curtain.
“Oh, my. You have a gorgeous b*dy,” she sang out. “Why do you hide these curves? And you’re so sleek and firm. You should be proud of your b*dy.”
My face blazed with embarrassment as one of the younger female staff praised my figure. “She has such a hot b*dy. What’s she ashamed of?”
“Let me change back into my clothes,” I said and reached for my dress.
“No, Daisy,” Victor said. A wide smile spread across his handsome face as he examined me. “This suit is perfect for the party. That bikini will definitely get William’s attention. He won’t be able to take his eyes off you.”
Victor’s eyes shone with a strange light as they took in every inch of me.

“You really look incredible in the bikini, Daisy,” Victor said. “I had no idea what loveliness you were hiding beneath your baggy jeans and shirts. Honestly, you look fantastic.”
His eyes swept over my b*dy again. “Wow,” Victor said. “She’ll take the green bikini,” he told Giselle.
I grabbed the privacy curtain and covered myself. “No way, Victor. It shows too much of me. I won’t have the nerve to wear it in public.”
Victor laughed and reached for the golden one–piece suit. “Try on this one. It’s a little more conservative, and the color will look good on you.”
I took the suit by the hanger and bit my l*p. There was a little more fabric to this one, but it was just as clingy as the bikini.
Victor noticed my worried expression and ran a finger over the skin of my shoulder. His touch made me shiver.
“Don’t be so modest,” Victor said. His tone was light and teasing once more. “You don’t want everyone to think you’re a virgin, do you? Only virgins are afraid to show a little skin.”
“You can be such a a dog!” I added.

How dare he mention something that personal? It was none of his business if I was a virgin or not. He was only my fake fiancé, after all.
“I’m a wolf, Daisy, not a dog,” Victor said with a chuckle.
I took my time changing into the gold suit. Let Victor wait after that virgin remark. Ugh. Yet, I had to admit he had good taste. The gold swimsuit wrapped around my b*dy in a way that highlighted my figure. But it was better than the skimpy bikini.
I stuck my
head out from behind the curtain. “I’ll take this one,” I told Victor.
After I changed back into my dress, I took the gold suit to Giselle. “Thank you for your help,” I said. “I’d like to buy this one, please.”
Victor pulled out a gold credit card and began to hand it to Giselle.
We weren’t really engaged, and Victor didn’t owe me anything more than his help with William. Besides, he needed to stop spending money like it was endless. His new car

cost enough to feed a hundred starving families for a year.
“No,” I said and pushed his hand away. “Here, Giselle. I want to pay for the swimsuit. with this.” I handed her the debit card Alex had given me and smirked at Victor. “And I’ll take a wetsuit in my size, too.”
Victor’s laughter echoed through the store.
