The Hunter Becomes the Hunted

Charlie unlocked the door to her cell and walked inside making sure that he locked it behind him, her turned and looked at her, how broken she looked from the woman that he had once known

“Nimeni sa nu vadasau sa adva” Charlie said and Leanna looked up when she heard Charlie muttering so, he was going to use magic to break her, she thought but little did he know that was the one thing that she had gotten better at, as he stood there calling to make sure that his spell had worked, an idea popped into her head

“protejatimintea de maga sa” she whispered, she would play along and make him think that it was working “I see you still use magic” she said as he turned to face her

“of course, that was the one thing I was good at as a human” he replied

“why do you want no one to see or hear?” she asked

“you can still as well then” Charlie said

“no, not magic, that was always your area but I still speak Romanian” Leanna replied

“a vita” Charlie said

“forget what?” Leanna asked

“vitatitotulsiamintit- vanumaipe mine” Charlie said it was now time for her to play along, she closed her eyes and lowered her head

“Lea” he said

“baby what’s going on?” Leanna said

“you lost your memory my love and became very dangerous I had to put you here for your protection and for everyone else’s” Charlie replied

“what?” she asked

“you had an accident my love” Charlie said

“let me out” Lenna said

“not till you are back with me my love” Charlie said

“how is that going to happen?” Leanna asked

“what do you remember about us?” Charlie asked

“we have grown up together Charlie, we have trained together every day since you were eight” Leanna replied

“what did you say the first time we fought?” Charlie asked

“I can’t remember” Leanna replied

“what did you say?” asked Charlie

“that you needed more training” Leanna replied

“your memory is starting to return” Charlie said “what did I ask you the first time we met?” he asked

“why my eyes were purple” Leanna replied

“when did I first kiss you?” Charlie asked

“we were training at our house when I was eighteen” Leanna replied

“no, that was not the first time” Charlie said

“I remember, we were sixteen at my father’s house, we were training and you actually managed to pin me to the floor, that is when you kissed me” Leanna said

“what happened next?” Charlie asked

“I kicked your backside” Leanna said

“as always” Charlie said smiling at her

“you tried a few times after that” Leanna said

“I did, I am going to get some food, would you like anything my love?” He asked

“yes please” Leanna replied

“what do you want?” He asked

“anything” she replied

Charlie walked from the room smiling, it was working Leanna had no idea what was going on, Leanna on the other hand watched as he walked from the room so, that was his plan, he wanted her to remember only him, she had read every spell book ever written and she knew the spell that he was using, it would make her remember him and only him and she would do only what he wanted, she would play along for now, Charlie came back into the room

“I have some food my love” he said

“good I am starving” Leanna said

“it is only a sandwich, I am going to unlock you promise me that you won’t attack” Charlie said

“of course, baby” Leanna said and Charlie removed the handcuffs, the two of them sat in the middle of the room and ate their food together

“thank you, baby” Leanna said

“you are welcome my love” Charlie replied

“can we do some training it may help bring back some more memories” Leanna asked

“of course,” he said

They cleared the floor and began to spar as they had done many times before, Leanna was not holding back at all, they had been fighting for about thirty minutes when Leanna decided to let him pin her to the floor, if he wanted her to forget everything, she would make him remember what it was like to be human, Charlie tripped her up put her on the floor and sat on her chest

“I think we may have been here before” Leanna said looking up at him

“yes, we have” Charlie smiled

“except the first time you kissed me” Leanna said

“I did” he replied if he wanted this to work, he would have to play along, it was alright Leigh could not see or hear what was going on in this room, Leanna decided she would force it, it was again something that she did not want to do but he had to believe that his spell was working, she made her move and Charlie ended up on the floor with her sitting on top

“what’s wrong baby have you gone shy all of a sudden?” she asked and she bent down and kissed him, she felt him tense up underneath her and the next thing she knew, she was being thrown into the wall opposite, he quickly jumped and went over to herm helping her off the floor

“I am sorry my love, I did not mean to hurt you, it is just that you have not been yourself for a long time” Charlie said “that will do for today I will be back tomorrow” he added helping her up and putting her back in her chains

“good night baby, love you” Leanna said and watched as Charlie walked from the room and smiled because she knew that he had hated every moment of what had happened, Charlie went straight to find Leigh to try and explain what had happened but all Leigh did was to tell him that he had to do whatever it took to break her and make her controllable so, Charlie returned to the cell the next morning with a renewed purpose knowing that Leigh backed him whatever he did, he walked in the room and shut the door, his spell was still up so nobody could see or hear

“vitatitotilsiaminiti-vanumaipe mine” Charlie said again

“morning baby” Leanna said

“morning my love, I have some breakfast for you” he said letting her go

“thank you” Leanna said

“do you remember when we moved into the house?” Charlie asked

“of course I do, I had just turned eighteen when my father said that we needed to move out, he said that he had found a two bedroom apartment and that we could move in together” Leanna replied

“but why us two? “ Charlie asked

“he said that we were stuck together like glue anyway so, we may as well share the same apartment that way he wouldn’t have to keep an eye on us in two different places” Leanna smiled

“little did he know that would be the start of us” Charlie smiled back

“living and working together brought us closer” Leanna said and moved so that she was right next to him

“do you remember how long I said I had loved you for?” Charlie asked

“I do baby, you said that you had loved me since the first time you saw me, when my father brought me to your house” Leanna replied and laid down putting her head in Charlie’s lap as she had done many times before

Charlie sat for a whole stroking her hair and thinking that his plan was working, she was beginning to remember only him, he looked down at her and started remembering all the times that they had done this before

“do you want to train? “ Charlie asked

“yes, I think exercising is doing me some good” Leanna replied

As the previous day they began to spar and spent the rest of the day doing just that, at times it got very intense between them as it always did, their relationship had always been very fiery and neither would have had it any other way

“time to rest my love” Charlie said stepping back “I will bring you some food” he added

Okay baby, will you come back tomorrow” Leanna asked

Of course my love, I will be back in a moment” he replied putting the chains back on her, he returned moments later with food, he had the chains made longer so she could sit down and eat with them on

“when will I be free of these?” Leanna asked

“soon my love” Charlie replied “I just need to be sure that you are you again” ha added

“okay baby, if you say so” Leanna said

“I do my love, I will see you in the morning” Charlie replied and went over and kissed her

Leanna watched Aas Charlie walked from the cell he really was convinced that she was forgetting everything but him, he had not seen that she wasn’t, Leanna smiled to herself because she could see in his eyes that he was beginning not to hate her but tomorrow would be amusing, tomorrow she would break his illusion and make him see that his plan had not worked, he had no reason to hate her before but now he would have a reason, Leanna began to eat the food he had brought her and she smiled again, it was her favourite meal meat and potatoes, she sleep peacefully that night

The next morning Charlie came into the cell with breakfast again, he released her chains so she could eat, now was the time to put her plan into action

“baby can you get me some water please?” Leanna asked and Charlie walked from the cell, now she had to act quickly “lasati o da aud a si sa vada” she said that spell would make her see everything that was going on in the cell and she would be able to hear, she smiled at the thought and Charlie walked back in with a bowl of water, Leanna stood up and put the bowl down on the bench, she then took of her top so all she had on was her training top and she washed herself

“are we training today baby?” she asked turning to face him

“we can my love” Charlie replied

And so, they began to train again Leanna knowing that Leigh could see and hear everything that was going on, she got Charlie on the floor and sat on him

“this reminds me of the first time” Leanna said

“it does” Charlie replied and pushed himself up and kissed her, they began to fight again, this time he pinned her to the wall holding her arms out so she could not move, he kissed her again, Leanna got her hands free and out them around his neck and kissed him back, she lifted herself up and put her legs around his waist, the door to the cell come flying open and Leigh stood there looking very angry

“Charlie what the hell? I know what you were going to do" she shouted

“I think someone is angry baby” Leanna said

“my love, can I put these back on, he said holding up the chains” Charlie asked

“yes baby” she said and let Charlie put her back in the chains and watched as he stormed over to Leigh

“what the hell are you doing here?” he shouted

“I know what you were going to do” she shouted back

“and you told me to do whatever it took and as you can see it has worked” he shouted back

“I did not tell you to do that, it is lucky I came down here to stop you" Leigh said

“I have spent three days down here and you will not ruin it now” he shouted and that was it Leanna could not help it she burst into laughter

“why are you laughing?” Leigh asked

“stop laughing” Charlie said

“I am sorry baby, did you think that your silly little magic trick worked, I blocked it on the first day” she replied still laughing

“what?” he shouted

“you hated me foe something that was not my fault, you now have a reason to hate me” Leanna replied

“and you were about to do that” Leigh snapped

“about too” Leanna laughed

“what does that mean?” Leigh asked

What do you think that we have been doing for the last two days” she replied still laughing “arata o in vitimeledouazile” she added and watched as Leigh’s face turn to horror, she was seeing everything that he had tried to hide from her “pumnil de argnitacun” she said whilst the two of them were distracted, when Leigh looked back at Leanna two silver daggers came flying past her from the guards outside, they flew straight into her hands “how is your sister” she asked laughing

Leigh went to move towards her but Charlie put his arm out and stopped her

“you played me for a fool” Charlie shouted

“I did, in four hundred- and forty-years magic is the one thing that I have practised” she said “eliberatilanturilesipermiteti-mi sa fiuluber” she added and the chains that had been on her wrists dropped to the floor, Charlie saw her about to move and pulled Leigh from the room shutting the door as he did

“you have been fighting me because of Jack, I told you that he would never want someone like you, shall I show you what Jack is doing right now, saovada pe Jack” he shouted and Leanna dropped to the floor and begun to cry, her head was filled of Jack with another woman, Charlie looked through the bars at her “you will not trick me again” he said

“I can try” Leanna replied standing up

Charlie stormed from the dungeons so, full of anger that she had tricked him, he thought that she was his and this last few days he had begun to love her again but that love soon turned to hatred again, she had fooled him and now his wife was angry with him for doing what he had done and it had not even worked, but none of it mattered she had shown him that she was still mostly human and he could use blood control on her, she would not be able to fight magic when she was asleep, she would have a visitor in here dream tonight
