The Devil's Wolf

Chapter 48

Elior positioned himself over her again and she lifted her fingers, threading them into Cael's damp curls as the vampire began to thrust between her legs, causing her to moan into Cael's mouth as her pleasure mounted. Cael slid down on the pillows until their heads rested against each other and they watched the vampire lost in lust, the erotic slide of his flesh into hers, the sway of his hair over his shoulder as he pushed into her.

The devil took Ashlynn's hand and closed it over him, using her to stroke his hard on. "I like our vampire when his mind has been warped by your blood," Cael murmured, lifting his hips, and tightening his hand around hers in order to tighten her grip. "He forgets that he is responsible for an entire species of slaves and focuses entirely on his own pleasure with single minded purpose. It is f-king sexy as all hell to watch him slake himself on you."

Ashlynn smiled, lifting her eyes to meet the devil's. "Aren't you a romantic under all the attitude," she commented as Elior nuzzled under her chin and sank his teeth into her neck again. She was sure that she could feel the blood empty from her extremities under the tug of his mouth, and the orgasm that crashed over her took her by surprise, distracted as she was by other sensations.

Cael nudged the still feeding vampire to the side and Elior released her and rolled onto his back, making room for the devil to stroke into Ashlynn with a groan. There was no jealousy or competition between them, just an exchange of position as each sought his pleasure and gave it to her.

"I think I am going to pass out," Ashlynn whispered her eyes heavy after her orgasm, as if it had sucked the last of her energy from her, leaving her lax and dreamy. She watched Cael over her as if from a dream, her body's responses seeming to belong to someone else."And miss all the fun."

"I am sorry, my mate," Elior lifted her wrist to his mouth and pressed a kiss against it. "This is far from done and you will feel weaker and more tired as it progresses. Whereas I," he murmured into her ear, his tone dark and dirty. "I will want to f- k you without end."

For a while she slept, waking to grunts, and blearily focused sufficiently enough to determine that Elior was reciprocating for Cael's earlier blow-job. Reciprocating well, she noted without surprise. The devil's head was thrown back, his teeth clenched, his skin dewed with sweat and his back arched, as he came. It was, she thought with a smile, quite the most beautiful thing she had seen, one man pleasuring the other.

Cael met her eyes. "He is insatiable," he told her.

Ashlynn next woke with Cael leaning over her, holding a glass of water and stroking her cheek. "There you are," the devil smiled. "Hello, my pretty wolf. Here is the water that you were asking for."

"I was?" Her voice was hoarse. She was so thirsty that she could smell the water but did not have the strength to lift her hands. As if knowing, Cael wet his fingertips and placed them in her mouth so that she could suck the water from them and she did so without shame, greedily. "More."

"Our vampire is getting very sloppy with your blood," Cael told her with a smile as he complied with her request. "He just fell off the bed. I am leaving him there for the moment, as I think you both need a break. All he has done is drink and f-k since we showered." He continued. "I have done him a few times myself, as it seemed unfair to let him disturb you when you were sleeping so sweetly, but the man is a beast with his desires when he is intoxicated, and the things he wants to do to us," he grinned wickedly. "Well, he is certainly inventive with his mutters when he is seeking his pleasure. I am tempted to see how many of them he can fulfil, because he has some very," his eyes lit, "interesting suggestions on how the three of us should f-k, together or alone."

"Is that how he has made all his children?" She was on the edge of sleep, but Cael dripped some more water into her mouth, stroking his wet fingers over her parched lips. "Drinking and f-king?" She was vaguely uncomfortable with the idea of Elior f-king Rebecca and Jacinta, as they seemed so in love with each other.

"I think there is normally less f-king," Cael replied. "From the comments he has made in his more lucid and less inventive moments."

She felt the mattress shift as Elior dragged himself back onto the bed. He leaned over her, his pupils blown to the extent that the grey was a shadow around their rim, like eclipsed moons. He looked at her for a long moment, his fingers on the pulse in her wrist.

"I think it is time," he decided solemnly, his words slurring together.

"You think?" Cael's brows drew together as he evaluated the vampire's ability to assess that accurately. "Are you absolutely sure? You are, my friend, very f-ked up at the moment. It is very amusing, but also slightly worrying considering we don't want you to make a mistake with Ashlynn's life on the line."

"Yes, it is time." Elior put his wrist to his mouth and used his teeth to tear into the vein, holding his finger to stem the flow of blood as he carefully moved it to Ashlynn's mouth. "Definitely, time. I have done this before, a few times, trust me. If she were my first, I would be more worried."

The sudden rush of blood made her gag, the thick saltiness of it biting the back of her throat as her parched tongue failed to work and sought to push the unwanted, invasive liquid from her mouth. The vampire clasped her lips and jaw so that she could not spit it out and she swallowed reflexively, rather than drown.

"Drink, Ashlynn," Elior encouraged, lowering onto the pillow next to her so that they lay side by side once her initial rejection settled into a suck, her hands coming up to clasp his forearm to her mouth, her fingers winding around his wrist and digging into her skin as she grew greedy.

Cael helped to hold the vampire's wrist to her mouth as Elior drifted into an intoxicated fugue. "He does that occasionally, too," the devil observed. "I wonder what dastardly schemes he is dreaming up when he falls silent and still like that." She would have liked to reply, but her mouth was full of blood.

Once she adjusted to the thickness of it over her tongue, the salt subsided into a metallic back-taste. She felt the blood hit the pit of her stomach, and her guts twist around it, not sure what to do with it, until she felt as if she had drunk too much soup, her stomach distended with the liquid, and heavy with it.

She groaned, and Elior stirred, reclaiming his wrist, and licking the wounds closed.

"That is enough for now," he said dreamily. "Too much, and she will reject it, and vomit it out. It is not much difference between making blood slaves and a child. The blood slave is just a longer drawn-out process involving a lot less vampire blood. I imagine the first blood slave was someone's mistake at trying to create a child."

"I am going to be your mate and child," Ashlynn's eyes wanted to close again, but she couldn't resist pointing it out to him. "That is like... So wrong. So wrong. Sort of sexy, but also wrong. How many times have you done this?" She wondered. "Five times," he replied. "Jacinta was my first. There were two between her and Rebecca. They were lost, long ago. It happens occasionally. Wars, accidents, enemies. Vampires are not indestructible." He sounded sad. "I am sorry."

"It was long ago," his smile was wistful. "I have my three children remaining to me, and now I will have my two mates."

"That you will," she assured him. She yawned, her body wanting to drag her back into sleep. She fought against it, enjoying Elior in his intoxicated and relaxed mood, and wanting to keep talking with him. "Why did you turn Jacinta?" "Oh," the vampire turned his head to look at her. "You are finally going to ask. That is normally the first thing that a non-vampire asks a vampire. Why those people, and why not these others? I have offered to tell you before."

"In the shower," she nodded weakly. Although Elior had healed the wounds in her neck each time he drank, her body knew that it had been torn into there many times, and there was a raw sort of ache and stiffness in protest. "I remember." Her stomach had settled enough that she did not think she would vomit.

"Jacinta was a childhood friend," Elior said quietly. "The daughter of a retainer of the family. It was a different time then, and girls were married young. Their lives were a series of increasingly difficult deliveries, until they died in childbirth. Jacinta's fourth baby was pulled from her body dead, and the damage to her was great. She was dying of infection, when her father brought her to our family, pleading for us to save her.

"Neither of my parents wanted to be responsible for another child - it is a lifelong commitment, and we have such long lives. There is a connection," he put his wrist back to his mouth and tore it open again, before putting it back to Ashlynn's lips almost absently, his mind on the past. "Between vampire and made-child that never ends.

"I was thought too young for such responsibility, but because I volunteered, and because of the loyalty of Jacinta's family, my father gave his permission. I expect he thought that Jacinta would die, anyway. The process is draining for both vampire and child, and she was already so weak."

Ashlynn reached up and wrapped her fingers around his wrist to hold it in place.

"Were you lovers?" Cael asked, enthralled with the story.

"No, never," Elior smiled. "You are getting stronger," he observed as he had to fight Ashlynn's grip on his wrist in order to reclaim it and seal the wounds. "That is quick. Perhaps the results of the magic of your blood."

"You turned Rebecca for Jacinta," Ashlynn turned slightly to face him and felt Cael slide closer to her back. The devil put his arm around her waist, his hand stroking lower, firing her body up despite its heavy grogginess from the blood loss and the slushiness of her stomach from drinking from Elior.

The vampire stroked her hair back from her face. His pupils were still over-large. "Yes, I did. You cannot deny such love."

"And Nate?" She moaned a little as Cael found the right spot to stroke her.

"Ah, Nate," Elior considered his answer. "He came seeking me. He wanted to be a vampire. He had been a soldier, and I think he had seen too many of his friends die.

"He had hung around in enough dark places and taken enough drugs to have pierced the veil of the glamour at least once, enough that he knew that vampires were real, and was determined to find one thinking it a solution to his woes. "A theory I can't dispute, as it seemed to help him."

"So, why him?" Cael wondered as he rocked into Ashlynn causing her to exclaim, and Elior leaned down to taste her lips, his kiss lingering, as his mates writhed against him, seeking their pleasure. Ashlynn's hands closed over the vampire, stroking him into joining her and Cael in their sex.

"Jacinta and Rebecca wander off occasionally, together, or on their own separate journeys. I was alone at the time Nate came to me and had been for fifty years. I was lonely." His honesty, Ashlynn thought, was as a result of his intoxication and his distraction under her hands as he groaned and gripped her hands to him, his seed spilling over her hip, the temperature cool and rapidly growing cooler. Ashlynn cried out, gripping the vampire tightly to her as she came, the devil biting her shoulder as his orgasm struck her hotly inside and all three sank into lax-limbed lethargy. Elior chuckled sleepily, his eyelids heavy after his release. "It was really that simple. I was lonely."

"You have us now," Ashlynn told him. "Go to sleep my big, tired vampire."

"Not for long," Elior fought against it. "I need to continue to feed you."

"I will keep watch," Cael assured him. "And wake you in an hour."
