CHAPTER EIGHTY EIGHT, All of them were waiting in anticipation for any news of the girls when Damian and the others got back but it was a fruitless search as there was no trace of either of them. Minho stayed back with his men to find any clues on them while Damian urged his son to go home and get himself a bit rested.
He had been frantically looking for them both and he was scared he may collapse or something
He could see the longing in the eyes of his wife as they entered the house and it broke his heart to see her in pain like this, no matter how long they have been married he never wanted to see tears of sadness in her eyes. "Did you find anything?" She asked the moment they got to the house but their silence proved they didn't and she couldn't help but break down in tears again and even Jem too.
"Don't worry wife, I will find them I promise" her husband said as she sat beside her and tried patting her shoulders. "Damian, come with us" Teresa said and dragged her brother off to his room with Ethan, she didn't want him to cry again seeing how the others were crying.
When they got inside, he began to throw things away out of anger. He had never felt so hopeless and useless in his entire life, his wife and sister were missing and none of them could do anything about it no matter how much money they had. "Calm down man, they will be fine. If it's truly a kidnap case, I am sure the kidnapper will call soon" Ethan said and pulled him to an embrace. Damian was like his best bud ever since he got acquainted with Teresa and he didn't want to see him suffer like this, if only he knew who abducted them.
Back In the living room, Minho had just arrived and was having a talk with Damian sir while his wife was seated with Jem and Rubby who had a worried look on their faces when the landline rang. A helper picked it because she didn't want to disturb the madam but the caller asked her to give it to Amy. "Ma'am, someone is on the line for you" she said bowing obediently.
Massaging her forehead a little, she collected the phone and pressed it on her ear. "Hello".
"Long time no see Amy Wilson". Her eyes immediately flew open, that voice. How could she forget the voice she heard for over twenty years of her life, how could she forget it so easily? But that person was in prison right? How did she get out or was it someone else who had the same voice?
"Jennie?" She muttered and the other person chuckled lightly from the other end. "It seems my dear sister didn't forget about me, it's so sweet to know you still remember me"
she said in a mocking tone as a smirk played across her lips.
"Weren't you in prison?how did you get out?" She asked again, by now her husband was already beside her and was surprised just as everyone as to how Jennie got out of prison and why she was calling them. They thought they already ended everything about her twenty three years ago, why was she still appearing in their lives?
"Did you think I would allow you to live peacefully after you ruined my own life Amy?" She asked back, her voice no longer contained any trace of fun, she was serious now.
That was when it dawned on Amy, her evil step sister had kidnapped her daughters.
"Did you abduct my children Jennie?".
"What do you think?" She blurted back Damian quickly collected the phone from her and placed it on his ears. "It seems life imprisonment was too good a punishment for you and you dare to mess with my family again Jennie Wilson?" He bellowed angrily, his voice contained anger and hate towards the other person. He hated the fact that this woman even after so many years still came back into their lives.

"Brother in law, you shouldn't use that tone with me if you want to keep your daughter safe. Well I didn't call to chit chat with you, you should get ready for my next call and just so you know, I won't let any of you off the hook so easily" saying that she disconnected the call and Amy broke down completely in tears, by now Teresa and the rest were in the living room and wanted to know what the person said.
"Mum, what happened?" Damian asked almost out of breath, he heard the whole conversation and wanted to know what's up.
"Dad, do you know who kidnapped Amy and Cody?" Teresa asked too.
Rubby and Jem couldn't believe what they heard, they didn't know that sinister woman would come back into their lives after so many years.
"Say something aunt" Min ho said, he couldn't take the silence anymore it was killing him from inside not knowing the kind of condition his beloved was in.
"Dad, mum..say something".
Sighing heavily, Damian told the kids everything that has happened in their lives. Right from when Amy was almost killed to how they got married and punished those who wanted her dead, when he was done the kids were speechless. "So that Jennie is here to take revenge on us? We don't even know her so why does she want to punish us?" Damian asked sadly, Cody was involved in this because she is also related to his family and his heart broke.

"I will make a cup of tea for you mum" Teresa said and walked towards the kitchen with Ethan, she couldn't bear to see her family in such chaos and it hurt her badly. She was nonchalant but that doesn't mean she didn't care about what was happening.
Damian was having a talk with Min Ho and his men on how to track the caller while Amy was laid in Jem's embrace as her eyes glistened with tears.
"Will she hurt them?" She asked sadly and Jem could only sigh. Her mind was also in turmoil because her daughter was also involved in this but she knew they would be able to defeat Jennie again even after all these years. "Don't worry Amy, they will be fine" Even as she said it, she was also trying hard to convince herself.
