CHAPTER FIFTY FIVE. As usual Delvin was having a fun time with Mira in the living room when his door flung open and a tall dominating figure entered. He quickly jumped off Mira's body the moment he saw who it was.... the big boss. "Boss" he muttered under his breath as he quickly made to wear his trousers and Mira struggled to cover herself with the clothes scattered all over the floor. Before he could even finish wearing his trouser, a blow landed on his left jaw sending blood flowing out of his mouth.

"How dare you?" Damian yelled again as he dealt him another blow again. No matter how Delvin tried he couldn't dodge the blow of the dominating man standing in front of him.

"What have I done boss?" He asked, spitting the blood out of his mouth. "Did you think I would let you get away with what you have done?" Big boss asked angrily," how dare you take intimate pictures of my wife?".

Mira who was listening to the conversation quickly brought out her phone and began to record the whole event with the aim of posting it online later.

Then it dawned on Delvin what Damian meant and his eyes opened wide in horror. Jennie came to meet him two days back and blackmailed him into helping her or else she would pin the murder attempt of amy on him, he didn't want to do it at first but atfer a lot of thoughts, he made up his mind. What he didn't know was how the big boss got his hands on the pictures, these were pictures he had taken with Amy years ago when they were still a couple.

"It wasn't me boss" he said in a fear stricken voice and another slap landed on his face.

"How dare you have pictures of my wife on your phone, Delvin?" Damian asked again, he was slowly losing his sanity. Seeing his wife in the hands of this scoundrel was something he could not take, even if he knew she had nothing to do with him, he still couldn't tolerate the fact that this bastard standing in front of him had such pictures of Amy and kept looking at them everyday. It wasn't too vague a picture but it still bothered him.

"These pictures are from years ago, sir, she threatened me into doing all of this boss, I am sorry" Delvin went on his knees as tears began to trickle down his eyes. Right now he was scared, scared of his life and what the big boss would do to him. "You must be a fool Delvin, the same lady who sent you to tarnish Amy's image wants to pin her attempted murder on you, and you watched your father's interview right?she is your step sister you moron". The words rang in Delvin's ears, Jennie was his step sister? He was still in his train of thought when Damian brought out his phone and made a call.

"Hello" he said immediately the line connected.

"I would like to sue someone for defamation, please send the cops to the address I will send to

you, I want someone arrested".

Immediately Mira heard this, she quickly grabbed her belongings and ran out of the house. She can't be arrested not when she has such juicy news to share with the public.

Delvin felt his world crumble as he heard Damian speak into the phone, he wanted to beg and plead for his life but no words came out of his mouth when he opened it. This was such a big blow to his ego, his father was to blame for all of this. "This is just the beginning of your doom Delvin, I will make you pay with your life" Big boss threatened in an angry voice. He wouldn't really care if someone wants to mess with him but not with his baby, not his wife.

"I am sorry boss, please forgive me". "Say that to the cold prison walls" he answered and walked out, the cops were already standing outside the door.

Amy kept pacing up and down the room, she also kept looking at the door waiting for Damian to arrive. With the way he left the office earlier, she was afraid of what he would be thinking. But was the big boss's love that weak?. Finally the door opened and he entered, she quickly ran up to him but he stopped her. "Do you listen Amy?I told you to stop stressing yourself right?" He asked as he led her to the sofa.

"I was waiting for you," she replied innocently.

"Now here I am"

"Shhhh" he Interrupted her," I already taught that bastard a lesson, he should be relaxing in jail by now". She was surprised, she thought he had left the office because he was angry with her. She opened her mouth to say something when her phone rang and it was Jem. "Hello" she spoke into the receiver.

"Oh my gosh ma'am, big boss is so cool" came Jem's voice from the other end.

Amy creased her brows," what do you mean?".

"The video circulating on the internet, haven't you seen it?". "What video?" She was getting very confused because Damian didn't say anything and just kept looking at her. "I will call you back Jem" she said and quickly disconnected the call," what did you do today?" She turned to her husband.

"What did Jem say?" Damian asked back lazily. She ignored his question and went online to check what Jem was saying and what she saw brought tears to her eyes. Her husband was fighting for her, not minding his social status all because Delvin had pictures of her with him.

"Hubby" she called almost in a whisper, her eyes still glued on the phone.
