CHAPTER FIFTY ONE Jem walked towards Rubby who was already standing in front of the marriage bureau office, he looked dashing in his navy blue suit and his perfectly styled hair gave him a more handsome look. She was also dressed in a pair of white knee length gown and had her hair styled beautifully, they both compliment each other.
"You look pretty baby" Rubby said the moment she walked up to him, he couldn't take his eyes of the woman standing in front of him. "You look great too," she replied with all smiles.
"So ready to get married? He asked and she nodded happily.
“I didn't know I was an outsider not to be invited to my friend's wedding" a voice spoke from behind them, it was Amy. She was with Damian and they looked good together. “It's not like that Teresa ma'am,” Jem replied, quickly walking up to
her.
"So why was I not invited?" Amy asked, feigning annoyance.
"I didn't want to bother you ma'am, seeing that you are already in your first trimester".
"Boss, you came" Rubby said as he walked up to them, he didn't think the big boss would actually come for his wedding. "Well, I can't say no to your lady boss, can I?" Damian asked, looking at his wife lovingly and she blushed.
"Today is for the two of them, Damian, so quit being a Playboy. Now let's go and get you married" Amy said and the four of them made their way inside the office with the two women talking and smiling at random and the men watching over them. In less than an hour, Rubby and Jem walked out of the office with their certificate in their hands, the smile evident on their faces proved how much they both loved each other. "Congratulations darling" Amy said as she hugged Jem, she was really happy for them.
"Thank you so much malam," Jem replied.
"Congratulations" Damian said to the two of them and gave a small smile.
"Thanks boss" Rubby replied, he didn't know why he felt shy In the presence of these three people.
"Rubby, you better take care of my Jem and if you hurt her I will come for you".
"Don't worry ma'am, he wouldn't even dare" Jem replied. "Here" Damian said, giving Rubby an envelope. "What is this boss?".
"Just take it already and stop asking too many questions, consider it our wedding gift" Amy answered siniling. He quickly tore open the envelope and it was a ticket to an all expenses paid trip to the Bahamas
"This is too much boss" Rubby said, he was overjoyed to receive this kind of gift from the two of them.
Stop it Rubby, you have worked for me for years, this is just little" Damian replied sincerely
"Thank you so much," Jem told the two of them sincerely.
"Now, get ready. Your flight leaves in four hours' Amy chipped in.
"But what about work?".
