"Be rest assured sir, we won't let him go" the police commander replied in respect. He couldn't bear to annoy the man sitting in front of him, if he didn't want to ruin his reputation.

"Very well then, I will wait for your call" Damian said and walked out, not waiting for the police commander's response.

"Mum, all our plans are failing and now, that stupid Pete is on the run" it was Jennie who spoke up, frustration was evident on her face.

"Be quiet Jennie, everything started with you" Kathleen yelled angrily. Her daughters don't know the kind of frustration she was facing at the moment. Her plan to get rid of Sabastian failed, and Amy was still going about with her secret, like her world was about to end and these two girls of hers would not understand it.

"I am trying to get to her okay, Damian keeps sticking to her like glue" Kathleen yelled in desperation. The past few days have been so hectic for her and now Pete could not even help her when he can't save his own ass. "I have a plan" Gwen said and they both turned to her.

"Well, that's a good plan, I will handle it," Kathleen quickly said.

"No mum, I will handle it this time, you can't be trusted" Jennie replied and walked away to make arrangements.

"Yes Gwen" she answered.

"What has been going on with you? You seem distracted and always go off on your own to try and kill dad without us knowing, are you hiding anything from us mum?" Gwen asked in a concerned tone.

"No dear, I just don't like that she is always around us. She has taken everything away from us and made us a laughing stock in the eyes of the public. I just want her out of our lives for good "she replied and quickly walked off. She felt very guilty lying to her daughters like this but she can't allow them to find out about her past.

"I think mum is hiding something from us and I need to find it out" Gwen muttered under her breath as she continued to stare at the door.

After a while Jennie walked back inside, she had a smile on her face.

"Jennie" Gwen called the Moment she sat down.

"Yes, tell me".

"It seems mum is hiding something from us, she behaves weird these days". "I already started investigating that a long time ago. Once I find out what she is hiding, I will let you know. But for now, I need to plan for Amy's demise". "When did you become this smart Jennie, four years ago you were just a scardy cat. Remember you asked mum not to go ahead with her plans of killing Amy".

Jennie scoffed, "I used to be close to her then and really loved her like a sister should, but I realized mum was right. This is exactly what mum was afraid of years back and now she has taken everything from us. So I won't let her live in peace with Damian". Anger and hate was evident on her face.

"Let's just get this over with soonest, I miss my social life" Gwen said sadly. She who was always the life of the party now has little or nothing to show, anywhere she went people always ridiculed her and her family. "Let's hope this plan does not flop".

It dawned on Amy as to why he was angry and she felt bad for making him angry, she quickly rushed upstairs to meet him, he was lying on the bed and going through some documents when she entered. "Hubby" she called in a concerned voice as she sat beside him.

"You need to rest, you have been up and doing since morning" he answered, even if he was angry at her, he couldn't neglect her health.

"How can I rest when you are mad at me?".

"Stop being stubborn Amy and get some rest” he replied in an angry tone and she could feel he was trying so hard to suppress his anger. Tears welled up in her eyes, this was the first time he shouted at her.

"And you yelled at me hubby" she sniffed as she spoke up, she was still in his arms, scared that he would turn away from her If

"Sorry wife, I promise not to yell at you again". "Okay" she moved closer to him again, her face was on his bare chest and she could feel herself feeling alright after sniffing his scent. He didn't ask her to stand up and kept stroking her hair lovingly, after a while he could hear her steady breathing, she fell asleep in his arms.

"Silly" he muttered under his breath, smiling as he tucked her Into bed, when he was done he pulled out his phone and called Rubby. "I know my wife cares alot about Jem, but do so well to find her and don't overly stress Amy out, she is pregnant" he said in a Stern voice as soon as the call connected. "Yes boss, I understand". "I won't allow them to hurt you wife" he muttered under his breath as he watched the peaceful figure sleeping on the bed.
