Chapter 106 Buying a Lesson
Regarding the attack on the Carter Group, Allison mentioned that she had personally upgraded their firewall.
Alexander gave her a loving look. "How about you come work for the Carter Group? Honestly, I've wanted you to join us for ages, but now that you're the Bennett Group's chairman, it might be a bit tricky!"
Even though she knew it was a long shot, Allison thought about it. "Mr. Carter, it's not entirely off the table. How about we strike a deal?"
Alexander raised an eyebrow, clearly amused by Allison's cleverness. "If you're willing, the whole Carter Group is yours. We don't need deals between us!"
Allison rolled her eyes and snorted. "That's no fun. I need a challenge!"
Alexander wanted to ruffle her hair but couldn't reach, so he just sighed. "I'm in this state, and you still won't cut me some slack!"
Allison took his hand. "Just messing with you. Don't worry, while you're recovering, I'll keep an eye on the Carter Group. Nothing will go wrong!"
Alexander then held her hand and kissed it, his feelings for her clear. "I knew I wasn't wrong about you. You're the best girl in the world!"
The whole hospital was surrounded by Carl's people, and after he revealed his identity, even the local government didn't dare to mess with him, which Felix found pretty impressive.
"Carl, who exactly are you? Why do you seem even more powerful than Howard?" Felix asked while munching on a sandwich.
He didn't dare eat any food in Imperial City. After running around with Allison to so many restaurants, he finally bought food for everyone. The restaurant owner was known for his sandwiches, so Felix asked him to prepare a large batch, which turned out to be delicious.
However, Felix's eating habits were driving Carl crazy; he wanted to kick him out.
"Felix, you're fully responsible this time. If you mess things up because of a woman again, there will be serious consequences." Carl was furious that Felix had been duped by a woman.
Not only was he completely used by her, but he also lost all his money and almost got Allison into trouble.
Felix, holding his sandwich, nodded quickly. "Carl, I know I messed up. From now on, I'll be a good guy!" Carl was speechless and couldn't hold back, throwing him out.
As Felix left, someone came to report, "Sir, Mr. Eaton's people are here. They say he wants to see Gaia!"
Felix sneered, "Tell them to get lost. Since he messed with Genesis Creations, he should pay the price!"
Howard was now in Alfonso's hands. The five nuclear missiles had their codes cracked but couldn't be activated, making them useless. So Howard was like a mad dog, wanting to tear Allison apart. But what he didn't expect was that Carl had become Alfonso's honored guest.
"Mr. Hall, it's an honor to meet you!" Alfonso greeted Carl.
Carl's expression was calm. He wore a white suit, with blonde hair and blue eyes, looking like a perfect gentleman. "Mr. Carr, long time no see!"
Carl and Alfonso had crossed paths before, but Alfonso wasn't someone Carl cared about.
"I didn't expect you to come in person. Is there some cooperation you're looking for, Mr. Hall?" Alfonso looked at Carl expectantly.
But Carl's face turned icy as he asked, "I heard you bought some missiles, Mr. Carr?"
Alfonso was stunned at the mention of the missiles because not many people knew about it. It was also embarrassing for him, as a top tycoon, to have been played. "Mr. Hall, you know about this?"
Carl replied, "Mr. Carr, the missile keys are in my hands. Didn't you check who decoded the keys when you did business with Howard?"
Alfonso was taken aback, feeling a bad premonition.
Carl added, "I'm taking the items as a lesson for you, Mr. Carr. As for the money, get it back from whoever you gave it to!"
Then he stood up, and Alfonso quickly followed.
Alfonso murmured, "Mr. Hall, we..."
"We have no conflict. It's just that someone didn't follow the rules, messed with my people, and still wanted money. Do you think the Hall family is a joke?" Carl said coldly.
Alfonso was sweating. Although Carl looked gentle, his family was not to be trifled with. Besides, Alfonso had always wanted to do business with the Hall family and didn't want to offend Carl. "Mr. Hall, I'll handle this. The items will be loaded onto the ship by tomorrow morning!"
Carl left without a word, while Alfonso wiped the sweat from his forehead and instructed his people, "Send the items to the port first thing in the morning. As for Howard, throw him into the sea!"
Alfonso was furious. Not only did he get a pile of scrap metal, but he also offended the Hall family. The more he thought about it, the angrier he got.

Allison wasn't worried about what Howard might do, especially after Felix took Howard's yacht and found girls in the cabin. Besides, she hacked into Howard's computer and found many videos of him torturing the girls.
With this evidence, Allison could easily post it online, and Howard would be completely ruined.
Moreover, Howard's biggest mistake was that he liked to mess with rich girls. Once he provoked such families, they would find ways to deal with him without Allison lifting a finger.
Allison's main concern now was Alexander, but the game organizers suddenly announced that the game would resume, with the finals being held in three days.
"Allison, you can't leave me!" Felix was almost crying in front of her, who looked at him speechlessly.
Allison replied, "Don't act like I'm abandoning you. When have I ever gone back on my word? But you, remember to deposit the promised money into our account."
Felix sighed in relief. As long as Allison didn't leave, it was fine. They were discussing the arrangements for the finals when Sabrina suddenly ran over. "Felix, the game organizers called. They said the finals venue has been changed to Skycrest in Novaria!"
Her words shocked both Allison and Felix, thinking it was too coincidental.
So when Allison saw Alexander, she tentatively asked, "Did you have anything to do with the change of the game venue?"
And Alexander smiled meaningfully. "Why did you suddenly ask me that?"
Allison thought for a moment and said, "Just a hunch that it might have something to do with you. I just want to know if I'm right."
Alexander exclaimed, "Your hunch is spot on! I hadn't paid attention to this company before, but I didn't want to see you running around for a game, so I had James acquire the company!"
Allison's mouth dropped open in surprise. "Are all rich people this impulsive?"
