Chapter 105 How Silly Alexander Is
Allison couldn't really enjoy the compliments from others. She felt terrible inside because Alexander got hurt because of her.
She stayed by Alexander's side the whole time, barely sleeping for two days and nights.
When Alexander was finally moved to a regular room, Allison let out a sigh of relief. As she relaxed, she fell asleep right there by his bedside.
Alexander woke up on the third day. His head injury had left half of his face swollen, and he could only squint with one eye to look around. When he saw Allison sleeping on his arm, he felt a wave of relief. Allison felt him move and opened her eyes. Seeing Alexander awake, she started crying. "Alexander, you scared me to death! You almost died!" She was really shaken up because she almost couldn't save him. Alexander reached out and touched her chin, smiling. "I'm fine now. With you here, I know I'll be safe."
Allison was speechless. She had so much to say, but seeing him like this, she couldn't get a word out, just feeling heartache. "If something happened to you, how would I explain it to your family? Have you ever thought about how pointless it would be if you died because of me?"
Before she could finish, Alexander reached out and covered her mouth. "Silly, you're the person I love the most. How could it be pointless? I'll do everything to keep you safe!"
Allison nodded, tears streaming down, but Alexander fell asleep again after being awake for only twenty minutes. His injuries were too severe, and he couldn't go back home for a while, so Allison went to find James. She offered, "If there's anything at the Carter Group that needs handling, I can help!"
James nodded. "Lately, the company has been under frequent attacks, especially the banks and financial accounts. Hackers have been targeting us!"
Seeing her confusion, James explained, "The Carter Group has several research institutes, and their research results are top secret. Over the years, people have been trying to find out where the funds are going, hoping to locate those research institutes."
Alexander had been fighting these hackers for years, but as their skills improved, it became more costly for him, until he teamed up with Genesis Creations. Allison said, "Go find Cleo and get my computer. I'll handle this!"
James nodded. The Carter Group back home was already in chaos because this attack seemed more severe than before, likely related to Benjamin's project. After getting the computer, Allison quickly got into the Carter Group's firewall.
James watched, his mouth twitching, because the Carter Group's firewall seemed like nothing to her!
Once inside, Allison discovered the hacker behind the attack. The techniques used seemed somewhat familiar to her.
Raising an eyebrow, she got to work. Within ten minutes, she had fended off over a dozen attacks without breaking a sweat. While reinforcing the firewall, she also threw a computer virus she had written into the opponent's program. When the firewall was all set, the computer gave a little ding, and a golden thumbs-up popped up on the screen. Allison stopped and looked at James. "Get in touch with the team back home. The firewall's reinforced and will auto-fix any vulnerabilities around the clock. They just need to keep the servers running smoothly."

James thanked her profusely and quickly made a call, while the team back home was already buzzing.
"James, was it Gaia? It had to be her, right? I've been a programmer for over ten years, and I can't do what she did in ten minutes. She's a legend!" one of the programmers asked. James just shook his head, repeating Allison's instructions.
"Got it! We'll keep the servers in top shape!" the programmer replied.
James thought these programmers were all nuts, but with Alexander hurt and so many company issues, he didn't bother arguing with them.
When Alexander woke up again, Allison wasn't in the room, but Carl was sitting nearby. "How do you plan to explain your sudden appearance to Allison?" he suddenly asked.
Alexander sneered, "There's nothing to explain. The gaming team got kidnapped, I got the news and went to rescue them. Finding her was just luck!"
Carl looked at him, surprised. "You're not planning to reveal Allison's identity?"
"Why should I? Just because she's my woman, does she have to spill all her secrets? I won't do that. She's her own person. I won't demand anything from her. I'll support whatever she wants to do. That's how you treat someone you love!" Alexander said.

Carl fell silent, questioning himself. If it were him, he couldn't do what Alexander did. "Do you think she will believe you?"
Alexander smirked and asked back, "Why wouldn't she? I'm just respecting her choice. She'll tell me when she's ready, won't she?"
Alexander knew Allison was very insecure. What he needed to do now was give her absolute trust and security. Everything else was secondary.
When Carl left, he was a bit down, but Alexander felt completely at ease, having eliminated a potential rival.
When Allison returned, she was carrying some food. She and James had gone to several restaurants to find something decent to eat.
Allison told Alexander, "You can only have liquid food for now. Felix will arrange a private jet tomorrow. I'll send you back home first, then I have to go to Aquilonia to finish the final match!" She didn't ask why he was in Imperial City.
So Alexander asked first, "Allison, aren't you going to ask how I found you here?"
Allison looked at him, her eyes serious. "Then tell me, how did you find me? And don't even think about lying to me, I'm warning you!"
Alexander nodded and smiled. "I've always had someone keeping an eye on you. When I found out you were missing, I searched everywhere. When even Felix disappeared, I knew you were in trouble. By chance, I found the yacht and, based on the route, I guessed you were heading to Imperial City. So I flew to Imperial City ahead of you, arriving about four hours earlier."
After he finished speaking, Allison turned and poured porridge from the thermos, cooling it before feeding it to him. "James already told me how you got here. Alexander, the Carter Group is in big trouble, yet you risked everything to save me. How foolish can you be!"
