Chapter 234 See You Again
"Dad, are you blind? Nancy hurt us so badly, yet you speak in her favor," Fannie cried again.
Clark waved his hand, clearly irritated. "Enough. When you get the money, let Nancy go. Don't torture her to death!"
"We won't, as we just want her money. That amount's a piece of cake for her anyway," Jill said sincerely, acting like a kind mother
"Ah, whatever," Clark said impatiently and went back to his room.
Jill and Fannie dragged Nancy towards the basement. And then they threw her in a corner.
"Fannie, what should we do now?" Jill looked at the unconscious Nancy and asked.
"Humph! Now that Nancy's in our hands, of course, we should treat her well." Fannie kicked Nancy's leg with every ounce of her strength.
"Mom, there is some philter on my bedside table. Caspar uses only a little each time. This time, we'll use it all!" Fannie said viciously, her eyes full of madness.
She thought, 'Nancy, this time, I will make your life worse than death! And then force you to give us all your money.'
Jill turned around and went upstairs.
"Mom, hurry up. I can't wait to see how panicked she is gonna be," said Fannie, urging her mother.
"I want to see it too!"
Jill was also a vicious woman. To get Clark, she got Nancy's mom in a car accident that year.
Then Jill married Clark, just as she wished, and became a rich lady.
In the past few years, even though Jill enjoyed a blissful marital life, she still didn't lose one bit of her conceit.
Alas, if it weren't for Nancy, Jill would be more at ease.
Therefore, when she got a chance to punish Nancy, how could she be soft-hearted?
Jill poured the whole bag of drug into a cup, stirred it, and sniffed it. It was colorless, tasteless, and odorless. Then Jill carried it back to the basement.
"That's great! Haha..." Fannie forced open Nancy's mouth and poured the water in.
"Nancy, enjoy yourself." Fannie patted her on the face and said, "If you survive this time, consider yourself lucky. If you can't, you're still going to give me money."
Fannie thought for a while and approached Nancy's ear. She gritted her teeth and said word by word, "If you can't survive this time, then Charles will fall into the hands of another woman. Haha!" After saying that, Fannie burst into maniacal laughter.
"Let's go. Nancy is about to wake up. Don't let her see us! When she can't hold on any longer, we will show up again. We have to use both hard and soft tactics," Fannie said fiercely.
Even Jill was a little scared when she saw her daughter's lunatic side.
Her daughter, whom she was proud of, seemed to be more vicious than her.
Fannie snorted in relief and kicked Nancy again before leaving with Jill.
Being in a coma, Nancy didn't feel anything.
An hour later, Nancy felt her body turning hotter and hotter, as if she was being roasted in a desert.
Nancy smacked her lips. "I'm so thirsty. Please bring me a glass of water."
Nancy wanted to open her eyes, but she couldn't.
"I'm so thirsty. Can someone give me a glass of water?" Nancy murmured in her sleep. She tore her clothes and pressed her body against the cold floor. "Charles, where are you? Where are you?" Meanwhile, Charles and Jay were chasing after Caspar's car.
"Charles, I found Caspar's car." The first one who saw Caspar's car was Jay.
"Is Nancy in the car?" Charles drove his car at high speed. With a gloomy face, the only thought in his mind was that he couldn't let anything happen to Nancy.
"Nancy is not in the car. This guy seems to have escaped." Jay opened the door and checked it.
"Ask someone to search!" Charles ordered coldly.
Jay asked someone to do the search.
"Where is Nancy?" Charles frowned and asked.
After a moment of silence, Jay said, "I don't know yet. I guess he thought that running around with Nancy in tow would be burdensome, so he ran away alone after leaving her somewhere." "Where did he leave her?" Charles twirled his fingers, which was actually a sign of his inner uneasiness molded into a habit.
"It's hard to say. Is she..." Jay wanted to say something but stopped after giving it a second thought.
"You mean the Ning family?" Charles asked.
"If Clark is at home, he won't allow Caspar to hurt Nancy. After all, they are a family," said Jay.
"If Clark really cared about Nancy, then all the property of the Ning family wouldn't have fallen into Caspar's hand. How could Clark leave nothing for Nancy? The fact remains, Clark doesn't care all that much about Nancy!"
"Where are you even going now?"
Charles sat in the driver's seat and said, "I'll go to the Ning family. You continue to look for Caspar."
"Okay, drive carefully," cautioned Jay.
Charles didn't say anything. He stepped on the accelerator, and the car sped away.
At this time, Jill and Fannie were eating melon seeds and watching TV, feeling smug about their plan.
"Did you do anything to Nancy?" Clark asked with a smile. He was a little worried.
Jill raised her eyebrows and looked at him, "Why didn't I see you so nervous when Nancy took off Fannie's clothes? We haven't done anything to Nancy yet, but you are already this nervous."
"I'm afraid... If anything bad happens to Nancy... I just feel sorry for her. Regardless of what she has done, she is still my daughter," Clark whispered, rubbing his hands.
Jill's smile froze at once. She threw the melon seeds back to the plate and asked, "What about me? I've worked so hard to bring up Nancy, and what's the result? Nancy, that ungrateful wolf doesn't even call me mom. Why don't you feel sorry for me? I..."
Jill cried as she spoke.
"Look at you. Why are you crying? I was just saying it." Clark went upstairs, annoyed.
Suddenly, there was a sound of a car from the courtyard.
"Is Caspar back?" Fannie said happily.
Clark stood up with the help of his wheelchair. He looked outside and saw a black sports car rushing in like a storm with anger. The person sitting inside was not Caspar, but Charles!
"Oh, crap! Charles is coming. Let Nancy go as soon as possible," Clark shouted while sweating bullets.
However, Jill scolded him, "Don't say anything. No matter what Charles asks, you just say you don't know. Do you hear me?"
"Charles is an extremely prominent and influential man. We can't afford to offend him! Give Nancy to him now!" Clark said anxiously.
Clark was a timid man. Moreover, he felt sorry for Nancy now.
"Dad, notwithstanding how powerful Charles is, he is still at our home. What are you afraid of?" Fannie urged, "If you don't want to see Charles, just stay away from him."
Fannie stood up and ran to the yard.
She bumped into the man who just broke in.
"Mr. Fu, it's an honor to meet you again!" Fannie said in a sweet voice.
