Sweet Twins Indulge in Daddy's Love

Chapter 233 Be Gentle

Nancy didn't sleep well, either. After the effect of the anesthetic wore off, her shoulder began to ache again.

Charles sat on the edge of her bed, holding her hands to comfort her through the grievous pain.

When Nancy woke up, she found Charles fast asleep next to her.

Nancy wanted to go to the bathroom, but she didn't want to wake Charles up. However, when she tried to get up, Charles opened his eyes vigilantly.

"Nancy, you're awake. Does your shoulder still hurt?" he asked eagerly.

"I feel much better now, I just want to go to the bathroom," Nancy replied.

Charles offered to help her get up, "Let me assist you."

She gave him a broad smile and said, "Although my shoulders hurt a bit, my feet are fine. I can go by myself!

"Okay, I'll wait for you outside," Charles responded.

"No, why don't you go and buy something for us to eat. I'm famished!" Nancy said, acting like a spoiled child.

"What do you want to eat?"

"How about pizza?"

"Okay. Wait for me. I'll be back soon!" Charles said as he walked out.

When Nancy exited the bathroom, she saw Caspar entering.

Nancy was stunned. "What brings you here?"

"Nancy, our father is in trouble. Hurry!"

Nancy gave him a perplexed look. Although she didn't get along with her father, she had never thought that something would happen to him one day. "What happened to him?" Nancy was baffled. She completely forgot about her wound. She took out her phone and was about to call Clark.

But Caspar stopped her. "Our father is in trouble. Whom are you calling? Just come with me!"

Without thinking about anything else, Nancy followed him as he made his way out.

Her mind was in shambles when she pictured Clark lying on a bed.

She followed Caspar into the elevator.

Just then, Jay and Doris walked out of another elevator. They noticed Nancy in the lift and asked, "Hey, Nancy, where are you going?"

Just as Nancy was about to reply, the elevator's door closed.

"Nancy? Maybe it wasn't Nancy," said Jay. "She is injured. How could she come out alone?" Jay didn't see Nancy himself, so he thought that Doris might have mistaken someone else for Nancy.

"Oh, I'm pretty sure it was Nancy," Doris said as she anxiously stamped her feet.

Still doubting Doris, Jay walked towards the window of the corridor. He witnessed Caspar and Nancy getting inside a car.

"Is that Caspar?" Beads of sweat appeared on his forehead. It was recently revealed that the capital flow of Caspar's company was broken, and his company was in a state of chaos. It was unclear as to why he visited Nancy this time.

"Call Nancy as soon as possible," Jay stated.

Looking at the panicked look on Jay's face, Doris apprehended that something serious must have happened. She called Nancy in a hurry, but her phone was turned off.

"Jay, tell me, what happened? Who on earth did she offend now?" Doris asked anxiously.

"I don't know yet," he replied as he called the bodyguard and told him the license plate number of the car.

"Yes, Mr. Fang." When the bodyguard listened to Jay, he immediately ran out with his subordinates.

"Charles, Caspar took Nancy away. Do you know anything about that?" Jay called Charles.

Charles had just bought breakfast when he received a call from Jay. He picked it up with a frown and listened to Jay on the other end of the line.

"I know nothing. I'm currently outside."

"Charles, just now, Caspar and Nancy left together. What's worse, the capital flow of Caspar's company is broken!"

Charles clenched his fist angrily when he heard Jay's words.

As soon as Nancy got in the car, Caspar rushed over to her side and covered her mouth and nose with the handkerchief in his hand. After that, she lost all consciousness. "Nancy, I don't have any money left. Forgive me, but you are the only one who can save me now!"

Caspar sneered coldly.

He drove straight towards the villa of the Ning family.

Clark was well, and it was Jill and Fannie's idea to abduct Nancy.

Jill and Fannie were jealous of Nancy.

According to them, it was wrong of Caspar to marry Fannie. But Nancy was in the wrong as well as she didn't help the Ning family. They thought that it was all Nancy's fault!

"Dad, do you see through your perfect daughter now? Nancy is with Charles and lives a happy life. Whereas our company is in a mess. She doesn't even care about it anymore. What do you think we should do next?" Fannie shouted at Clark.

"Well, it's not all her fault. It's Caspar's fault as well. That man is really a bastard. He runs the company, and he doesn't know how to manage it. All he knows is how to play." No matter how timid Clark was, he knew that Caspar and his poor management were solely responsible for this crisis.

"You can't say that. Caspar has been managing the company for many years. He has put in a great deal of effort. Humph, it's all because of this bitch, Nancy, who you support all the time!" Jill snarled as she grabbed a handkerchief in her hand.

"And yes, since I married Caspar, Nancy has been jealous of me. Our company's capital flow is broken, and it's all Nancy's and Charles' fault!" Fannie was reduced to tears when she uttered these words. "What? Let's ask Nancy when Casper brings her back. We don't care whether it's her fault or no, as long as she gives us the money!" Jill echoed.

Then the sound of a car entering the courtyard was heard.

"Who is it?" Jill asked.

"Isn't that Caspar's car?" Clark shouted.

"Is it Caspar?" Fannie ran out excitedly.

Caspar had gotten out of the car. He opened the door and carried the unconscious Nancy out.

"Is Nancy dead?" Fannie asked.

"She's not dead. Now that I've brought her here, you can do whatever you want with her. It's up to you." Caspar tossed Nancy to the ground and headed towards the car.

Fannie ran up to him and held his hand tightly. "Caspar, where are you going?"

"If Charles finds out about what happened to Nancy, he 'll come here himself and kill me," Caspar said as he turned on the ignition of the car.

Fannie leaned against the window of the car and said despondently, "Caspar, tell me, will you come back?"

"Of course, I will return once you get the money from Nancy," Caspar said as he stepped on the accelerator and left

"Humph, Nancy, you deserve this!" Fannie asked Jill to bring a rope and tie Nancy up.

Then she blindfolded Nancy and dragged her to the basement.

"Hey, be gentle. After all, she is my daughter!" Clark exclaimed.

Jill deliberately pinched Nancy's leg. "Clark, you are useless. Nancy almost killed us, but you still defend her. If you still want to protect her, Fannie and I will have no choice but to leave you so that you and Nancy can live alone!"
