Sweet Twins Indulge in Daddy's Love

Chapter 202 Marriageseeking Ad

'This is gonna be a long night,'

Charles thought before reaching out his hand and gently pulling Nancy to his chest.

Then, with a wicked grin, he whispered to her ears, "Don 't shout, honey. I will be very gentle, I promise!"

On the second day, Nancy was woken up by Bobby and Nadia.

In a daze, she opened her eyes and surveyed the room. The quilt was folded, but the sheets were still wrinkled, leaving some traces of what happened last night.

"Hey! Why did you wake me up?" she asked the kids while squinting her eyes.

"Daddy has been up for some time, mommy. So we came to wake you up too!" Without having any clue as to why her mother would oversleep, Nadia responded in her usual tone. "Has your daddy been up for a long time?" Nancy had to confirm.

"Yes, mommy!" This time, it was Bobby who replied with so much enthusiasm.

She then checked her watch and learned that it was only seven o'clock. How long had it been since Charles got up?

"Bobby Fu..."

"Mommy, call me Bobby..." the young boy interrupted, showing her his dismay.

"Well, Bobby..." Nancy paused before continuing, "Where is your father?"

Last night, Charles didn't go to bed until three o'clock in the morning.

If he woke up early, that meant he hadn't slept long.

"He went for an exercise then cooked breakfast," Bobby answered and moved closer to his mother.

"What?" she asked in surprise. How could Bobby know that? Didn't he sleep last night? "Bobby, why did you get up so early?"

The cunning look in his eyes almost hinted that he knew everything. So, he climbed onto the bed and said, "I want to see if mommy is pregnant with my little sister!

Then, the young boy gently placed his hand on her belly as if sensing any baby movement.

With a helpless sigh, Nancy could only shake her head and utter, "If you plant a flower, you must have a seed and sprout it. Then, you should water and give it some nutrients before it can grow, right?" Thinking that she could better explain herself, Nancy aimed to use a metaphor, but the kid was even more confused. "Mommy, tell me where the seeds are," he asked, cocking his head slightly.

At this point, Nancy was on the verge of resignation. She wanted nothing but to escape from having to explain complicated things to their kids.

But then suddenly, an idea occurred to her. "I think you can ask your father instead of me," she suggested, trying to control a mischievous smile from escaping on her lips.

"Daddy knows, but you don't, mommy?" This time, it was Nadia who continued interrogating her.

"Yes, I don't know, but your daddy does," confirmed Nancy, rubbing their hair gently.

"Okay, let's go ask daddy." After saying that, Bobby grabbed Nadia's hand and stormed out of the room.

At the same time, Nancy was left feeling a little sore in between her legs.

'Why did I have such smart kids?'

She thought while getting out bed.

Then, rubbing her neck, she walked into the bathroom and took a morning shower. Just as she finished changing into her new clothes, Bobby and Nadia came running back. "Mommy, daddy said that he had already planted a baby in your belly. He also said that the baby would grow soon!"

Although the kids were evidently elated, Nancy was utterly speechless to hear such a response.

"Not that fast, kids..."

"But when mommy?" Bobby asked anxiously.

"One month, two months, or even longer..." Shaking her head, Nancy felt even more helpless. How could she explain it to them without getting their hopes up?

"Why would it take so long?" Nadia asked in confusion, furrowing her brows while trying to read her mother's face.

"We can't talk about this anymore. Come on! Let's go downstairs and have breakfast." Nancy then rubbed Nadia's little head and pulled the two kids out of the room. "Mommy, let me tell you a secret," the little girl uttered while on their way downstairs.

"What is it?"

"I find that Daddy cooks better than you do!" After whispering, the young girl giggled like she was teasing her mother.

But Bobby, who heard it, nodded and muttered, "Yes, daddy is really a great cook."

Hearing their opinions, Nancy didn't even feel dispirited. In fact, she, too, acknowledged Charles' skills in the kitchen. It was just that she had been busy lately; that was why she seldom spent time cooking. "Well, ask your daddy to cook for us from now on," Nancy whispered back, flashing a smile at her kids while holding them with each of her hands.

The two even skipped on their feet, obviously too happy to wake up in such a delighted morning.

And as soon as she reached the kitchen, the aroma of the food penetrated their nose.

"Wow, it smells good,"

she said while leading the children to the sink to wash their hands.

"Mommy, you have to eat more. Let the baby grow up faster!" Bobby claimed while they all settled in the dining table.

Nancy glared at Charles and complained in a low voice, "It's all your fault. You fooled them."

"Don't be so conservative! Kids are well-taught these days. They know everything," Charles snorted while handing the plates to Bobby and Nadia.

"But it's different when these words are from the teacher. Besides... We are not married yet!" explained Nancy in a low voice.

"Alright, fine! But if you really wanna get married, we can do it at any time!" Charles playfully winked at her.

"Forget it. It's time to go to work!" Immediately, Nancy tried to find a way to change the topic.

However, the morning newspaper caught her sight.

On its front page was a photo that rocked the delightful morning she woke up to.

"What's that, Charles?" She pointed at the newspaper and trembled.

If she wasn't strong enough, Nancy would have already dropped the utensils in utter surprise.

Her wide eyes targeted the paper, which was placed not too far from her.

Although Charles woke up early, he still hadn't read it yet. So, with a frown, he opened it. "It's nothing," he uttered after sending some seconds looking at it.

However, Nancy caught sight of how he immediately folded the paper and kept it with him. After breakfast, Charles stood up and took the newspaper with.

Nancy thought there must be something in the newspaper that he didn't want them know. And while the energetic and full of life Bobby kept running around, Nancy only kept mum. Even when she and Bobby got into the car, her mind wandered in the newspaper.

As usual, Charles sent Bobby to the kindergarten and before driving Nancy to the hospital.

While Bobby was gone, Nancy took the chance to take out the newspaper.

Angelina had posted a marriage-seeking ad for Charles.

Upon learning this, Nancy gripped her fists tightly.

'She knew he was living with me; that's why she made up this announcement! Why does she hate me so much? ' she couldn't help wondering.

But little did she know, the matriarch had always felt jealous of her.

Now that Charles had fallen so in love with her, Angelina felt Nancy was taking her loving son away from her.

More than that, she was so mad that he seldom went back home anymore.

She had to live alone in their mansion with only the servants to kill her time with.

Therefore, in a fit of anger, she published a marriageseeking ad in the newspaper.

"Auntie, you are interfering with your son's freedom. Do you think it's necessary to do that? There's no need to post that in the newspaper. You know women would beg him to be with them," Joseph expressed, sporting a smug smile.

Angelina glanced at him and yelled, "I know, but just don't like him this way!"

"Well, auntie, it won't work. I suggest you introduce a woman to him! That would be way better than this!" Joseph joked, obviously trying to trick her aunt into putting Charles in a difficult position.
