Sweet Twins Indulge in Daddy's Love

Chapter 156 Good At Acting

Doris closed her eyes with fear. However, to her surprise, she didn't fall on the ground, but into the man's broad chest.

"Jay?" Winnie was surprised. She didn't expect that Jay would show up there. She thought that he had already gone to work. That was precisely why she dared to fight Doris. But, things didn't work out as she planned.

"Doris provoked me!" She immediately blamed on Doris.

"I only believe what I saw, Winnie." Jay looked quite calm, but the sharpness in his eyes was frightening.

"Jay, I guess you are just messing around with her. You aren't serious about her, are you? She..."

Before Winnie could complete, Jay interrupted her coldly with a hint of banter in his voice, "Well, you are right. I'm just messing around with her!"

Then he lowered his head and gave Doris a look to see her reaction.

Doris looked at him with resentment. 'Damn it. You bastard, how dare you say that?' she sighed.

However, she didn't lose her cool, but just asked calmly, "Jay, what did you just say now? Is it beneath your dignity?"

"Dignity? Does it even matter?" With a smile, Jay looked into Doris' eyes, and then kissed on her cheek. "You're funny and I enjoy messing around with you!"

As clever as she was, she could see that Jay was just using her.

He was using her cunningly to drive Winnie away because he didn't want that woman to stay there any longer.

Of course, Doris too didn't like the presence of Winnie. So they both had the same purpose. In that situation, she couldn't unmask Jay, but she had to cooperate with him. This could also be called as the binding of benefits!

"Wow, I never knew that Jay is so fond of playing. What a coincidence, I too like playing!" Doris winked at Jay playfully. She was so seductive and charming.

Her reaction was out of Jay's expectations. He was touched and stared at Doris meaningfully.

It was the first time that he had looked at her so carefully since he knew her. She was indeed very beautiful and elegant. She had a delicate oval face, shaped eyebrows and a sweet small mouth, looking lovely and pure. As for her charm, it was something special that no other woman possessed.

Winnie was furious. Well, who wouldn't be? They just flirted with each other in front of her.

"Jay, don't forget that I am your childhood sweetheart. You were so dear to me. How could you do this? Humph!" Winnie was so angry that she couldn't speak. She went incoherent with indignation. With her face flushing, she gritted her teeth, stamped her feet and turned away. "Let's wait and see..."

she squawked, and then stomped her feet and left!

"Now that she's gone, we'd better stop acting. Please put me down, Jay." Doris struggled, feeling a sharp pain from her shin bones. Suddenly, she gripped his arm harder.

"Acting? Tell me, who is better in acting. Is it you or me?" Jay asked as he carried Doris to the bed. The moment he put her down, he approached her.

A few drops of water dropped from his hair exactly on her forehead.

Jay kissed her.

"We're neck and neck," Doris said, and she turned her head to one side to avoid the kiss.

With a frown on his face, a hint of anger flashed through his eyes.

When he was about to get close to her again, his phone kept on the other side suddenly rang.

Doris took a look at the phone and there was "Mom" on it.

Since Jennie called, it must have been something related to Winnie.

Doris passed the cell phone into Jay's hand and laughed gloatingly.

"Hello, Mom." He stood up, holding the phone to his ear with one hand and making his wet hair with the other.

"You bastard! Tell me, are you living with Doris now?" Jennie screamed over the phone.

Ever since she saw how violent Doris was at the banquet last time, she had a bad impression about her.

"I don't think Doris belong here. She has a bad temper. We need to think about her relationship with Jay," she told Eric that day.

"Mom, what did Winnie tell you?" asked Jay.

"Hey, I've already seen the pictures of you and Doris. How dare you deny it? You brat, come home right now. I am going to discuss with your father and find a girl from a big family to confirm your marriage..." Jennie said vociferously.

A storm gathered rapidly on his handsome face, and for the first time in his life, he brutally interrupted his mother, "Mom, since you have cornered me to this point, I have nothing to hide from you. You are right, I indeed live with Doris. I love her very much, and she loves me, too. So you'd better give up the idea of my marriage with a lady of a rich and powerful family!"

Jay had seen through the hypocrisy of Dorothy and Lucy!

"You bastard! Do you think any random girl can be the daughter-in-law of the Fang family? Does Doris have a rich family as Winnie? Did she study abroad like Winnie? It's absurd, just absurd!" Jessie raised her voice. In her opinion, the marriage of the rich was just for satisfying the interests of the family business.

A marriage violating this principle would be worthless!

She believed that love, for men and women in rich families, was for business purposes.

"She may not have any background, but I still like her!" Jay said plainly. He had expected such reaction from his mom, but he was not willing to marry any other woman!

"What? How could you just say that? I think you are out of your mind. Get back here right now!" Jennie said angrily and ended the call.

Doris listened to the entire conversation and was fully aware that she was being used by Jay as an excuse.

"Jay, are you saying that I am the woman you fell in love with?" Doris asked jokingly.

"You are not the woman I love. But now, it's you who is going to act with me. You are good at acting. Now change your clothes and come with me!" Then, he untied his bathrobe and threw it aside, revealing his muscular body.

Doris lowered her head immediately and answered, "Why should I change? You don't love me anyway and you don't mind what I wear, do you?"

Jay took an underwear out of the wardrobe and put it on in front of Doris.

His natural movements and expressions looked quite charming!

"To be honest, I don't care what you wear. But, I just don't want my parents to think that I have a bad taste in choosing girlfriend. Let's go. I'll take you to buy some clothes!" said Jay.

In face of the big offer, Doris whispered, "Jay, you don't have to buy clothes for me. It's so extravagant!"

"Consider it as my payment for hiring you to act for me. Jay said callously.

"Oh, I forgot about that. You said that I am good at acting, right? In that case, I think your payment seems to be a little low."

"What? Huh!" With a scornful smile, Jay looked towards Doris and said, "Don't worry. If you do well, you'll get extra reward."
