As soon as Landon finished speaking, he heard a commotion among the crowd.

"Oh, Mr. Jay has come back!"

"Who is that woman beside him?"

"Doris is a good-looking girl, but her profession really makes people embarrassed!" Eric sighed too.

"Isn't this Dr. Doris, from the Andrology Department of the Affiliated Hospital of the Medical University?"

"Department of Andrology?"

"She is a doctor in the Department of Andrology?"

All the guests burst out in laughter as if they heard the biggest joke.

Their laughter made Jay's parents even more embarrassed. This was their biggest fear. There were not many things rich people feared, but reputation and honor were definitely on top of the list of things they feared to lose.

Even though their relationship wasn't officially confirmed yet, they could see their son had fallen in love with Doris.

Sarah was enraged. "What's so funny? Don't you see a doctor when you are ill? It's the 21st century now. Come on! There are male gynecologists too. Why aren't you speaking now? Are you biased against women? So stubborn!"

The chatter quickly died down after Sarah's angry burst.

"I don't mind." Doris was grateful to her. This girl was so simple and easygoing that it was easy to get along with her without any precautions.

Then everyone saw Charles walking in, holding Nancy's arm.
