Sweet Twins Indulge in Daddy's Love

Chapter 130 You Are My Woman

For a while, Jerome scrambled to utter a word, evidently dumbfounded at how straightforward and arrogant Charles was.

If what Nancy said was true about their break up, then why was this man still pestering her?

"Mr. Fu, right? If Nancy is saying that you two have separated, I suggest it's better not to bother her anymore. As a man, you should respect her decision." Jerome's wise words proved that he was really an esteemed professor by profession.

"Uh, uh, I'm going to the toilet first." Caught in such an awkward situation, Nancy tried to find an escape. She didn't know how to handle this overbearing moment, not when two alpha males were in an intense staring contest.

More than that, she was too embarrassed to explain everything to Jerome. After all, this was their first meeting after several years, so Nancy thought it'd be best if she could just avoid this meeting. And without saying anything further, she grabbed her hand and headed straight to the toilet.

In her head, she intended to dawdle and planned to come out after Charles left.

That way, she'd have a moment to thoroughly explain everything to Jerome.

Meanwhile, Dorothy thought that her plan of making her jealous had worked. She had prearranged this lunch invitation, and her devious self couldn't be more proud of what she had done. Aside from that, she was overtly confident since the internet was practically bashing their relationship, stating that Nancy wasn't a match for Charles at all.

And the ones behind those malicious posts and comments were merely her and the marketing team she put together to enable her grand plan. Besides, for Dorothy, she and Charles were much more a perfect match, and kicking Nancy out of the picture was just a child's play for her.

But to her utmost surprise, Charles couldn't help pouring his heart out as soon as he caught sight of her.

He was just head over heels for her-much to Dorothy's sheer bewilderment. She just didn't understand what was so good about Nancy! What did that woman have that she didn't? And to make it all worst, he even followed her to the toilet! This man was really so smitten!

Meanwhile, Nancy made sure she had locked the door.

After that, she leaned against the edge of the sink, feeling more uneasy while her heart beat frantically.

But as she had just calmed down, a loud bang blared from the outside.

"Nancy, I know you are inside. Open the door!" Charles' angry voice resounded.

With a heavy breath, Nancy covered her ears with both her palms.

She thought that as long as she didn't open the door, he would eventually leave.

But it wasn't the case; she should have known better, knowing that it was the stubborn man he loved.

True enough, Charles directly kicked the door open. The bastard didn't even care if he destroyed private property. After all, he could pay for it even triple the original price. The next thing she knew, Charles had already grabbed hold of her.

"Are you crazy?!" she complained, trying to push him away.

But then, he suddenly held her head and attacked her lips aggressively.

"Uh..." Nancy struggled hard, but the more she resisted, the crazier Charles turned.

A woman suddenly came to the toilet and asked in a strange voice, "Oh! What's wrong with the door?" But then it was already too late; she already saw the two kissing.

"Ah, don't do that here! Please get a room or, better yet, go to a hotel! Oh my god!" A hint of disbelief was evidently coated in her tone.

"Charles..." Nancy muttered, extremely ashamed of being caught in public. Her cheeks were rosy red as she tried to hide out of sheer embarrassment.

But Charles had no intention of letting her go. In fact, he intentionally broke the door so that other customers could catch them in sight.

At this point, a deafening silence fell on them. Only Charles' gasp could be heard as the situation got even more awkward.

After a long time, Charles finally released her.

Then, with just one last glance, he stormed out, wearing a satisfied smile.

'That bastard!' Nancy cursed as she turned on the tap to splash some water on her face. She was hoping to wash the embarrassment away, but the liquid didn't seem to do the trick. "That man looks good, but that doesn't give you the freedom to make out in public." Now with a friendly smile, the woman walked in.

Still ashamed of herself, Nancy chose to ignore her and instead retouched her makeup before finally walking out.

Hastily, Jerome walked up to her and asked, "What did he do to you?"

Unwilling to make such a fuss over it, Nancy merely shook her head and instead flashed a reassuring smile to her old classmate. "I really hate those types of men. If he pesters you again, you can call the police."

"Alright, don't worry about it. Come on, let's go. I have to go to work now." She glanced at her watch while sounding such in a hurry. "But you haven't eaten anything yet. I'll pack it for you." He asked the waiter for a meal box and instructed him to pack the food instead.

Even though she had calmed down, Nancy was muddleheaded the entire time she was at work. The whole afternoon went by in a flash, and she found herself rushing to the kindergarten to pick up Nadia. To her surprise, Fannie was waiting at the main gate of the kindergarten.

"Sister, are you here to pick up Nadia?" she asked in an exciting tone. Ever since what happened in the engagement party, Fannie couldn't deny that she had been a good mood recently. Definitely, it was the misfortune of her sister that lightened her days.

"See, mom?! Charles has finally fooled my dumb sister! Look what it got her! Nothing! Now he doesn't want anything to do with her! Ha-ha!" she exclaimed one afternoon they were gathered in the living room. Clark was afraid that Fannie would get into more trouble, so he sighed and said, "She is your sister after all. It isn't nice to speak ill of her."

"Come on. She is not my sister! She might have caught such a big fish like Charles, but it did nothing good to our family! We got nothing out of it! She just deserves what happened!" Fannie swayed her head with arrogance while a smug of triumph crept on her lips.

Helpless as he was, Clark could do nothing but sigh after hearing what his daughter remarked.

After seeing Nancy after her tragic engagement day, Fannie wore a gloating expression as a mockery sign.

"Hmmm..." Nancy merely replied with a nonchalant tone. She didn't have time to brawl with her half-sister. She was just too tired and exhausted to even spend more energy on her.

"You don't seem happy, sister. Are you still worried about your mother? Is Jade's condition not well?"

Whatever conflict they had, Fannie had no right to disrespect her mother and address her with no formality.

But since Nancy practically didn't care about her devious sister at all, she frowned beyond endurance and said, "It's none of your business. You just take care of your own mother instead of poking around other people's business."

Although Nancy sounded quite condescending, Fannie wasn't bereaved at all. She was really over the moon, seeing the look of frustration on her sister's face.

So grinning, she uttered, "I remember the times Charles tortured me just to protect you. I wonder how you're feeling now that you don't have him to back you anymore."

Nancy didn't want to talk to her anymore, so she just turned around and left.

"Well, you deserve it, Nancy!" Fannie shouted between gritted teeth, but Nancy had already walked meters away from her.

At this moment, Charles walked up to them, surprising Fannie and almost scaring her to the core.

"Mr. Fu, you are here to pick up Bobby?" she asked, plastering the fakest smile she could muster.

'Damn it! Did he hear what I said?' Fannie thought to herself, wary that this man would threaten her life again.

But oddly enough, he merely glanced at her coldly and asked, "Do I know you?"

For a while, she was utterly speechless while her mouth was agape.

Then without saying anything further, Charles walked passed her and approached Nancy.

"Nancy..."

When Nancy heard that familiar voice, she ultimately quickened her pace.

"What's the hurry?" asked Charles, grabbing hold of her arm.

Instead of lashing out, Nancy merely let out a sigh, thinking that everyone had the right to pick up their children. Normally the driver of the Fu family or Charles's bodyguard would came to pick up Bobby. But today it was Charles!

'Damn it!

Why is he following even here?!' she cursed to herself.

"Mr. Fu, this is the kindergarten. Please behave yourself!" she said, sporting a straight face to showcase how serious she was.

"But you are my woman! Kissing you is not weird at all!"

"Charles, don't be such a stubborn jerk!" If she were, to be honest, Nancy had tried her best not to snap at him. But he was just too persistent that it was getting on her nerves!

More than that, she was still on the process of moving on. And if he showed up uninvited in all places she would go to, it would be one hell of a ride for her.

"Listen, Charles, I have never loved you, okay. So, it would be best if you finally let me go."

Charles was more stunned than hurt by her words. 'She never loved me?' he thought while his brows tightly knit together.

"Mommy, are you here to pick me up?" Suddenly, Nadia happily ran towards her, hugging her waist out of sheer excitement.

"Mommy, where's daddy?" Behind her was Bobby, who was also running towards her.

At the sight of his innocent little face, Nancy was frozen to the ground. Her heart ached and grieved for the young boy. Breaking up with Charles would also mean staying away from this kid. "Bobby, from now on, you have to take care of yourself, okay? Promise me." She bent over and rubbed his little head. And as she spoke those words, tears started to form on the corner of her eyes.
