“Does he even know all of this?” I don’t know where I got the confidence, but I felt like everything she was doing was stupid. Alpha Xander had told me his side of the story. While it was harsh of him to kill everyone who taunted him with his scar, they were wronged too.

If I could remember clearly, Felicia rejected him and went for his brother just to spite him. He may be cold and heartless, but he doesn’t deserve to be treated so cruelly, especially not when he was just a child who craved attention and affection.

Everything Alpha Xander became today, I blamed it on them. On her… she was his mate. She should be there for him emotionally. Even if she can’t be with him because she thought he was ugly which he clearly wasn’t, it is still a stupid move to ho out with his brother after rejecting him.

Perhaps Alpha Xander went too far by killing them, but in all honesty, I feel remorse for her.

“Do you think I’m stupid?” She scoffed in disbelief. “Do you really think I’d let him know who I am? Tell him what exactly? Hey, I’m your ex–mate, Felicia. After your failed attempt to kill me I got a new look and I am here to get my revenge on you?” She asked with a frown and I cleared my throat.

“Doesn’t it make you feel angry that you are in a competition with yourself then? If this is a war, at least you would know you are fighting someone and the person is aware too. But in this case, he doesn’t even know you exist,” I said and she let out a hysterical laugh.

Do you have any sense at all? It’s called revenge for a reason. Did he tell me that he would be killing me when he did? No! It just happened so that is exactly what I’d be doing to that bastard, she hissed and I couldn’t believe that the woman I thought. had a heart of cold was just a green snake under a green grass.

How deceitful.

“At least, it is clear why you hate Alpha Xander so much now, but can I ask why you are punishing me for something I knew nothing about? Why are you doing this to me? Why do you have to pretend to be so nice to me? If you can do that effortlessly, don’t you think that maybe that is a part of you?” I asked and she scoffed at me.

“Nice to you?” She chuckled before she suddenly grabbed my hair, making me yell out in pain.

“You… you are hurting me,” I stammered.

She tightened her grip in my hair as she dragged it again with a fake smile plastered on her face.

“Oh, sorry darling, I didn’t realize I was hurting you,” she yanked me away making me almost hit my head on the wall.

“You think I was nice to you? Me? Seriously?” She burst out laughing again as I felt a throbbing headache from the way she pulled my hair.

It all felt so similar to when she was washing my hair in the bathroom that day… she didn’t do it on purpose, did she?

That was the last time I saw her and I started having a terrible headache afterward, She didn’t do all of that, right? She couldn’t be the reason why Alpha Xander agreed to send me away and the seer…

Claudia dragged me up from the bed, and I winced in pain from the way she was forcing my legs to stand despite how badly they hurt.

“You must have been stupid to believe that I was ever nice to you” she spat. “I was barely tolerating you,” she hissed. “Do you know the amount of time I had to stop myself from hurting you? Haven’t you thought of why you always ended up with a cut whenever I did your manicure and pedicure? Do you really think it was because I was clumsy?” She chuckled.

“Of course, not. It was because I wanted to dig a hole in your borly and watch you bleed to death, but every time I had to remind myself that it’s not her time, so I appease myself with those cuts,” she said and I couldn’t believe anything I was hearing right now.

Was all of that intentional? She cut me on purpose, everything she is doing to my nails or legs and lied that she got carried away by the conversion we were having.

I would wear a long dress everytime to cover up because I didn’t want her to get into trouble with Alpha Xander but all along, she has been messing with me?

Gosh! I can’t believe this.

She finally threw me back to the bed and I heaved out a sigh of relief. “Do you remove the day you wanted to swim in a river?” She asked with an amusing smile on her face and I looked at her, curious to hear what shocking news she was about to reveal.

“Well, you were not supposed to be at that river. In fact, no one dares to go there and walk out alive in one piece. Every maid or Alpha Xander’s sex toy that attempted it all died a painful death, so I sent you there on purpose. Since I couldn’t kill you with my hands, I wanted him to use his hands to kill the woman carrying his child, but lucky you, he didn’t,” she finished with a scowl and my eyes widened in horror.

“What did Fever do to you?”

“That bastard was meant to be barren! An impotent, but you came into his life to play some super woman and got pregnant. And yet, you are asking what you did wrong?” She hissed.

“You should have just died like the other women that came into his life. You shouldn’t have held so much importance to him, that way, you would have died a simple but painless death,” she spat out.

“You… you are not the one killing those women, are you?” I asked as my heart skipped a beat.

“Perhaps you can have all your questions answered when you finally join them,” she grinned. She moved closer to me on the bed and I shifted back out of fear.

I have never imagined Claudia to be such a scary person but after hearing her speak tight now makes me fucking scared.

I need to get out of here. I thought maybe speaking to a familiar face would help, but it turned out that she is my biggest enemy and I knew I needed to find a way to escape.

She leaned closer to me and played with my hair for a while. I pleaded for her to leave me alone with my eyes, but the closer she gets, the darker her eyes become.

She dug her claws into my skin, making blood gushed out of the part as I screamed out in pain.

“Ahhh!!!!”

“This is only the beginning, Maliya,” she said as she dug her claws deeper into my skin.

Tears streamed down my cheeks and she seemed to be satisfied by my reaction. A small smile played on her lips and for the first time, I got to see how evil she truly was.

Indeed, I was stupid to believe that this woman ever liked me or is after my wellbeing.

“By the time I am done with you, you will wish you had never been,” she grinned as she continued to torment me with her claws.

She snatched her hands aways from my shoulder forcefully, making me cry out of pain and she began to trail the bloody hands on my stomach.

Fear gripped on me as watched her do this.

P–please, don’t hurt the innocent baby,” I cried.

“By the time I’m done, I will make sure that this baby will never be born,” she patted my stomach gently and blew me a kiss before leaving the room, leaving me terrified.

1 finally understood why Alpha Xander never trusted me around anyone but it was too late now.

Tears streamed down my cheeks as my shoulder burned with pain.

My wounds needed to be treated, but I doubt anyone in here cares about how I was doing.

“Alpha Nander, please find me before these people really kill me I prayed inwardly as my body burned with pain.

For the first time in my entire life, I wished my wolf would come out and relieve me of this pain. I snapped my eyes closed as the pain was unbearable and all I could do was cry.

I tried to stay strong, but I was breaking down with every minute that passed by.

“This is too much for me… this is too much. If you are somewhere inside me, which I’m sure you are, please help me and put me through this pain. I have never asked you for help and went through everything on my own, but if you do not come out now, we would both die here and our enemies would be proud,” I choked on my tears as I spoke to my wolf hoping that she could hear me.

The room felt suffocating and it was as if the room itself was draining all my energy. I have never hated being so weak and helpless like this in my entire life and all I could do was cry.

Alpha Xander is my only hope now and I hope he finds me soon or I’d lose it for real.

Blood kept on dropping out of my shoulder and there was nothing for me to stop it..just when I thought that I was about to pass out, the seer came in with a tray of food in her hands and her eyes widened when she saw my condition.

“Who did this to you?” She asked as she rushed over to my side to stop the blood.

“Cla… Claudia,” I said weakly and she cursed under her breath.

She opened a drawer in the room which seemed to have a few things she could use as she began to clean my wounds and applied ointment on it.

“How are you feeling?” The seer asked with a frown on her face.

“Weak…” I breathed out. I was starting to feel dizzy and I felt like I’d collapse anytime soon.

The seer nodded as she continued to help me treat the wound when Claudia came into.the room once again.

The seer glared at her the moment she saw her walk in and I just remained in the same position.

“What is wrong with you?! Why did you touch her? What if the mistress hears about this? Would that be okay?” She glared at Claudia and she didn’t seem the least sorry for what she did.

“Why are you overreacting? She’s alive? I could have liked her if I wanted, but I refrain myself from doing so because I know that would piss the mistress off. Giving her a minor injury shouldn’t be a problem,” she shrugged and the seer didn’t seem the least pleased to hear her speak like that.

“Are you even listening to yourself? What if something really happened to her? What if you lost control with your crazy thirst for blood and really killed her?” She glared at Claudia.

“I’m not a fool. I know what I must do and what I can’t.”

“This better be the last time such would ever repeat itself,” The seer hissed and Claudia rolled her eyes.

“I don’t know why you bother taking care of her when we both know that she’d end up dying anyway. You don’t have to be nice. No one is coming to get her,” Claudia hissed before leaving the room.

As soon as the seer finished cleaning my wounds, she walked out angrily too, leaving me with myself.

I lay on the bed to get some rest when I suddenly felt a strong force inside me. It was as if something was waiting to explode in me and my body felt awake.

“Maliya,” my wolf spoke and I snapped my eyes open.
