Chapter 200 I Did Not Go Into the Room

David and Nash stared at each other, and in that brief moment, countless thoughts flashed through David's mind.

Nash sighed deeply. "Yes, I did buy Caroline from the Brooks family, because I didn't want her to lose her virginity and fall into the hands of a wealthy man to be used as a plaything. But after I bought her, I never intended to do anything to her. I pursued her for four years. I cherish and respect her so much. How could I possibly take her in such a way? If I did that, I wouldn even deserve to be called a man!"

"I didn't go into the room that night. I never touched Caroline. I wasn't even there! Mr. Ellison, tell me, how could Caroline be pregnant with my child? I bought her to save her from the Brooks family, not to satisfy my own desires!" Nash became more and more agitated as he spoke, his voice growing hoarse and breaking.
