MARTHA'S POV

"Thank you so much Gust, despite what happened today, you really make my Jan happy, also please give my thanks to Ms Selene" I said smilingly.

"No problem Martha and I am sorry if my cousin did not join us, she is just like that, and has no interest in mingling with others" Gust explains.

"Well I can see that and I understand that part though I don't know why she is always moody, she is really different earlier, being so brave facing all the bank robbers and making a deal with them, I am really scared but it subsided when I saw her, I just don't know why she let them flee with the money!"

I ask in confusion.

"Don't worry the authorities are doing their best to catch them, anyway I will let her know what you said, and it is so late now I guess you guys need to go home"

Gust said and offers to bring us home.

When we got home he needs to go as well since he still has something to do and Jan waves his hand to thank him.

It has been a long day today, even though we have been in that situation, good thing we still manage to buy what we need especially my clothes for tomorrow, Gust reminds me that I should be all prepared at exactly 9 am when I should be at Ms Selene's house.

Before entering the house I noticed something unusual, the shadow that I usually see in the electric post is not present this time, I am always aware of that shadow but I just ignore it thinking it's just some stray cat roaming around but sometimes I am surprised that in my peripheral vision it looks like a human shadow but that is really impossible like how on earth there will be a human at the top of the post? So I just don't mind it, it's just surprising that it is not here tonight. Anyway, it's been a tiring day and I am really exhausted so I enter the house and try to sleep.

SELENE'S POV

"Boss, I already send to you the picture of the woman, as you can see she is already dead!"

The last few words that I heard before I passed out, as I close my eyes a sudden burst of strength flowed all over my body and I know this feeling... it's already midnight.

The three armed men are ready to go and leave me here when they heard me coughing. "Ahem..."

They all turn around but they did not see anything, I assume they are thinking it was just their imagination so they continue to walk but they hear another voice, and this time I let out a word that stopped them from walking. "Leaving already?"

I said standing behind them.

They are all shocked to see me alive with blood all over my shirt and jeans; the wound from their shot is still visible on my head, arms and legs.

They were terrified as they are sure that I was shot to death and I am not even breathing earlier.

"H-How come you are still alive?"

The leader asks.

I did not answer him or even move to where I stood, I am just staring at them while the bullets from my wounds keep coming out and it heals at the same time, they cannot believe what they are seeing; now their eyes widened seeing my eyes turn into red and my fangs come out.

"V- Vampire! Ahhh... Run!!!"

He shouts his lung out and then starts to run together with his two men.

I move quickly and appear in front of them; they were frightened and trip themselves over to the ground.

I grab the arm of the leader and from there I pulled his arm until it breaks, the screeching sound of his breaking skin and bones surrounds the whole area, now he lost his left arm then I grab his head and crash it until his brain and eyes popped out.

Now I turn my gaze to the other two, they witnessed what happened to their leader and was stoned in their position, scared of what just happened they can't even move especially when I am just an inch from them, their body is shaking and they sweat all over their faces.

"Now is the turning of the table... let's see. What should I do to the both of you?"

I said with a creepily smile encircling the two terrified men.

I stop moving to face them and then smirk.

All you can hear from the abandoned old building is their scream begging for their lives.

A few hours passed and I managed to get away from the place even though I look miserable with my clothes filled with blood then Gust calls me.

"Sen Where are you?"

Gust asks sounding worried

"I was kidnapped"

I said that confusing Gust.

"Wow, you were kidnapped? You don't seem to be kidnapped but rather the one who will kidnap hahaha"

Gust said still can't believe what I told him and just burst a laugh but when he is about to ask me again, I suddenly appear in his room.

"Oh shit, it's real, wait, how?"

Gust said then quickly holds my arms then guide me to sit.

"I was abducted before midnight, I don't have the strength yet so they easily knocked me down at first"

I explained.

Gust gave me a bottle of blood and drinks it up quickly, I feel relaxed and my eyes turn to normal color again.

"I'm sorry Sen I didn't sense it, I don't have the power yet at that time"

Gust said feeling sorry which I understand so I slowly stand up and then tap Gust's shoulder it was my way of saying don't worry anymore.

I get out of his room and walk towards my room, Gust customized a separate room for me here in his house and the same goes for me whenever he wants to stay at my place.

MARTHA'S POV

Waking up as early as 6 in the morning makes me really want to go back to bed, somehow my body is excited about my new job, well excited at the same time a little nervous thinking that it is Ms Selene as my new boss!

Looking at the branded clothes I bought yesterday, it is really new to me wearing all of this, I mean it has been a while since I get to wear these types of clothes again.

Most are plain pencil cut dresses and skirts paired with blouses, seriously I don't know what to wear with all of this, what I should choose, though Gust told me that all this suits me well.

After finally choosing what to wear, I fix breakfast for Jan and Justin, and then I receive a text from Gust.

"Mar, exact 8 am the driver will arrive make sure you are ready to go"

I hurriedly fix myself since I will be picked up by her driver, Gust also mentioned to me that I should always be near Ms Selene in all her appointment, thinking about that makes me really nervous, I feel like a hundred butterflies are roaming around my stomach, honestly, I am afraid to make a mistake, Ms Selene can't accept any mistakes, I'm pretty sure I will be scolded most of the time! Sigh...

At exact 8 am, the driver arrive to get me, it only takes a few minutes and we are already at Ms Selene's house, it is so big, I remember my life before, my family's house, I used to live in this kind of house though indeed Ms Selene's house is huge, a typical mansion-like.

The driver guides me to get into the house and the head maid approaches us.

"Good morning"

I greeted her, I guess she is in her 50s but still has a beautiful face.

"Good morning too Ma'am, have a seat, later the Madame will be here in a short while"

The head maid said and I'm stunned hearing how she addressed Ms Selene, "Madame" I mean it is too formal for her age and her looks.

While I am arguing with myself about the Madame thing, I saw Ms Selene walking down her grand stairs, I quickly stood up as a sign of respect or I am just really nervous.... whatever!

"Ahem good morning Ma'am"

I greet her.

"Good morning, here are my other schedules aside from what Gust gave you"

She greets me as well and then handed me the folder of schedules.

My eyes were buried at her, she is as gorgeous as hell, how I wish I can be as gorgeous as her, her hair is tied up in a ponytail, and she is wearing a fitted coat and sexy slacks, formal to look at yet so hot and sexy.

Upon going out, the driver open the door of the car for us, I was about to ride in the front seat when she stopped me.

"Sit beside me"

She seriously said without looking at me but instead the outside the window.

I swallow my throat while entering the backseat and sit beside her.

Honestly, I am getting nervous sitting beside her, I don't know how to approach her or what kind of approach I need to give her, I can answer and follow all her commands unless she will be the one to talk to me first but if I will be the one to initiate, I don't think so...

I am in the middle of a conversation with myself when she speaks to me.

"So, how are you? Are you all okay now?"

She said while still looking outside the window.

"Ahem, I am okay now Ms Selene and thank you for what you did, for saving us"

I respond.

"I need to save my mall from embarrassment, and about the money, you will pay it anytime that I want you to do something for me, I know you won't disagree since you can't pay me in an instant right?"

She said throwing a gaze at me which seriously shocks me.

I felt silent hate for her, I knew it! She planned it all along; there is a reason why she helped me in the first place, to make me her puppet that will follow all her commands, she has the hold on me now, I can't do anything about it anymore damn!

I didn't make any expression but agreed with her.

"Yes Ma'am"

I respond.

"Good"

She simply said without looking at me.

Seeing her just smiling which I start to hate, she let the robbers flee because of that! She really wants a hold on me!

The whole time while we are on our way filled with silence, I don't like to talk and I bet she doesn't want either!
