SELENE'S POV

Saving Martha from those men, we are now heading to my house.

After a few minutes, we finally got to the house. I carried Martha and then put her on the bed. I fix the blanket and adjust the light to make it more relaxing for her, and when I am about to leave the room, Martha suddenly grabs my hand. "Thank you, Ms. Selene,"

Martha said in her weak voice.

"Just take a rest and have your off tomorrow, just tell me everything that happened to you later"

I said, but she refused and was about to get up and go back to check Valerie's condition. I tried to stop her from getting up but she still insisted even if she was all weak, so it left me no choice but to snap her neck a little and she finally went back to sleep.

I manage to clean up Valerie's place; I get all the dead bodies out of the apartment, I can't leave any residue or evidence that I was behind the killings, and I can't seek Gust's help for now since he has a more important thing to do. I try to look at the CCTV to find some information about those black troops who want to kidnap Martha. I thought they were after Valerie or just merely a group of robbers but when they point the target at Martha, I guess I kind of have an idea.

I saw a unique logo that is quite familiar to me. I know I have seen this somewhere, so I sent it to Gust for further investigation.

MARTHA'S POV

I wake up with heavy eyes; it is almost 5 am when I check my cellphone. I guess I am here at Ms Selene's house again since I remember her picking me up at Caloocan last night when that thing happened. My knees started to tremble again. Every time I remember those parts where they are chasing me, I can't stop shaking in fear. I feel like any time they will be going to kill me and Valerie. Oh shit!!! I almost forgot Valerie! I quickly dialed on my cellphone and called Valerie's number but it was already out of service.

I hope she is okay, and about those people, I will never forget what they look like, their attire and the logo it has. It is indeed similar to those Natasha's men who were in our house four years ago, when they killed my mom, damn! So I am being haunted by Natasha again. Oh God, please help me! I am still scared even before and still scared now!

I am afraid for Justin and Jan's safety. I can't put them in danger. What should I do?

I need some help, Ms Selene. Maybe she can help me, though I don't know if she can face and fight Natasha. I have witnessed how cruel she is, I know what she can do and her family, hmmm sob*sob* I can't put her in danger, I can't see her suffer because of me.... hmmm I don't know what to do anymore, I am now crumpling my hair when I heard a knock.

"Hmm, come in," I said.

It is Ms. Selene; I don't know why she wakes up early.

"How do you feel now?"

She asked, standing in front of me.

"I-I am good now ma'am, hmm, I am sorry for this, it's just, I don't know whom I'm going to call for help, I am sorry hmmm sob*sob*,"

I said while hugging my knees.

"Hmmm, so what happened to you?"

She asks and I am scared to tell her. I don't know if she will understand it or not

"Hmm.... it's... it is... "

I said as I kept stuttering.

"Tell me, Martha, be fair at least, I need to know,"

She said in cross arms.

"T—there is ahmm, there is someone who wants to get me. I was with Valerie inside her house and suddenly a few black-suited men got into the house; they were armed and targeted me. They grabbed my arms and were about to take me with them when someone came and helped me, so I escaped",

I explained.

"Ahem..... ahmm so, do you have any idea who they are?"

She asked again.

"Hmm... its... its Natasha David Ma'am, hmm sob*sob* I will never forget those logos attached to the clothes of her men when the time they went to our house four years ago and killed my mom in front of me.... hmmmmm sob*sob*," I said in tears.

"It has been four years and they didn't even try to look for you, so why now? You must be a big deal to David today. Tell me what your game with them, Martha?"

She suddenly, asks me.

"I don't know Ma'am. I did everything to forget them. I even tried my very best to avoid their family, but I didn't know it would happen again now. I don't know what they want from me. They abducted my father. I don't even know if he is still alive or not"

I explained.

"So there is really something between you and David, the way I know those people, they won't going to stop until they get what they want"

Ms. Selene said which scared me more.

"Hmmm I don't know what to do anymore. I can't let my loved ones be in danger, and I am really scared for Justin and Jan's safety. I can't put their lives at risk and I can't risk yours as well... hmmm sob*sob*"

I tearfully said.

I was stopped when Ms Selene held my hand. I mean she is not like this, it is not her type to do this kind of thing, holding someone else's hand. As I know her, she doesn't interfere with anyone's business, but today she really came for me, she has a strong personality, which is why holding my hand makes me feel really safe and secure. Somehow, it eases my pain.

After making me feel better, she stands in front with crossed arms and looks straight at me, but the way her eyes look at me, it seems something is on her mind.

"Alright, next week we have a party to attend. It is the birthday celebration of the fifth member of the Elites Society. I am pretty sure Natasha will be there, so, do you want to reverse the situation?"

She seriously asked, a little I was confused about reversing the situation but I knew her, she had something on her mind. I guess she plotted a plan for them which I don't know, but the way I look at her, it may not be good for Natasha! "Just prepare yourself next week, and I will reverse the situation for you. You are so afraid of her, typical human nature but you must remember that Natasha has weaknesses too. Let's see how far she can go using her bitchy dirty attitude!" She seriously said, and I could see the cleverness drawn into her face.

"Ahmm, okay ma'am, I will coordinate the dress that you will wear as soon as possible,

I said.

"No, I can handle that as well as the one you will wear, just prepare yourself and it's all good"

She smilingly said while the excitement was all over her face.

The way she acts while thinking about her plan seems like it is something to wait for, and I can't wait to see how this plan will stop Natasha!

She was about to leave when I quickly got up from bed to follow her, dang! I almost hit my nose but I really couldn't help it, I hugged her back and rested my head on it, then whispered. "Thank you, ma'am,"

I said while hugging her. Shit, my heart is beating so fast, I just can't help myself not doing it!

I could feel that she was shocked by what I had done, and she slowly turned around so our faces were now an inch away.

She looks into my eyes, which attracts me to look back at her. We are having a staring contest now and my heart is still beating so fast, damn, I don't know if hugging her is a good idea or not, but the way she looks at me I can't see any hate but.... desire. And I was shocked when she suddenly kissed me on my cheeks, which almost touched my lips. I was stoned in my position and my whole system suddenly stopped. Her lips almost touched mine, which really shook me! Damn! I am literally blushing now and I don't know why.

"Were even now, and you're welcome?"

She said that confuse me.

"Even? W-what do you mean we're even ma'am?"

I tensely asked.

"They said accepting and saying thank you for the first time is okay, but saying it, again and again, is getting annoying, and it loses value, so for us to be, even I stole a kiss from you, people said that it is a woman's treasure so now we're even, no need to say thank you"

She explains that makes me blush even more, damn I giggled a little within.

Then she headed her way out of the room and it left me hanging with blushed face, though actually, she is.... she literally stole my first kiss! I don't know but I seem to like it, even if it is just a simple kiss on my cheeks. God!!! All my sad thoughts suddenly washed away with that stolen unexpected kiss!
