Reborn Through Fire

Chapter 1532

Chapter 1532
Sara's words were like a match igniting the flames of anger within Kisa, who could not help but snarl at her. But Sara feigned a
frightened and pitiful look, acting remorseful.
"Kisa, you're still pregnant. Don't get angry; it's not good for the baby. If I said something wrong, just tell me, and I will apologize."
Kisa clenched her hand at her side, taking deep breaths and desperately reminding herself not to lose control. Sara was
deliberately putting on an act in front of Gilbert, and if Kisa lost her cool, she would be painted as the irrational villain. With forced
calm, Kisa said, "You didn't say anything wrong."
"Kisa, don't be like that," Sara suddenly grabbed her arm, feigning a gentle and kind demeanor.
"We all know each other well. If I said something wrong, just tell me. Don't keep your frustrations bottled up; it's really not good
for the baby."
Kisa closed her eyes, struggling to maintain her composure as her anger simmered beneath the surface. Gilbert didn't look at her
and walked directly toward Kelvin.
Sara smirked and, with feigned surprise, said, "Oh, Kisa, I didn't expect that your mom actually had feelings for Gilbert's dad. I
heard she and Gilbert's mom were even best friends back then. It seems your mother was quite decent; though she liked him,
she never tried to steal her best friend's man. Unlike now, when many so-called best friends secretly seduce each other's
partners.
"But, on another note, why didn't your mom call Gilbert's mom during the crisis but called his dad instead? Luckily, their
friendship was strong, or else Gilbert's mom might have misunderstood and let suspicion ruin everything."
"Enough already!" Kisa had been biting her tongue, but after those stinging words, she could not take it anymore. With a burst of
anger, she shoved Sara away.
‘How wicked this woman is, insinuating that my mom tried to seduce Gilbert's dad!'
But Sara's cunning knew no bounds, using the momentum from the shove to stumble back dramatically and crash into a table,
falling to the ground as if she were the victim.
‘What a performance!’

Kisa, a pregnant woman, could not have had the strength to push her down like that. But she did not bother explaining; she
despised Sara so much she wanted to rip her apart.
Unable to contain her emotions any longer, Kisa snatched an ornament from a nearby cabinet and hurled it at Sara.
In that instant, she wanted the wretched woman dead.
It's all because of her that Gilbert's grandmother has died, and it's because of her that my relationship with Gilbert has reached a
breaking point!'
Kisa was consumed with hatred.
But the ornament did not hit Sara; instead, it struck Gilbert, who had stepped in front of her. His eyes were cold and menacing as
he glared at Kisa. In an icy, low growl, he spat, "Get out!"
Kisa looked at him, her heart aching from his frigid demeanor and harsh words. In a sudden outburst, she bean pointed at Sara
behind him and screamed hysterically, "She is the true villain! She is the one behind your grandma's death! She manipulated
Carolyn and
Christopher! She locked the warehouse door! It's all her fault!"
"Enough, Kisa." Kelvin interjected, glaring at her in disgust. "Sara risked her life to save Gilbert, and her wounds still haven't
healed. Don't you see how absurd it is to accuse her like this?"
"It's impossible! She fled early. How could she be injured?"
In that moment, Kisa's mind was consumed by grief, anger, and hatred. Desperate to expose Sara's false facade of kindness,
she lunged toward her, frantically searching for any signs of injury on Sara's body.
