Purchased A Mr. Right

Chapter 1647

Dylan, What Did You Call Me Just Now?

At first, the bartender thought that it must be the girl named Tina who had regretted it and called back.

However, when she picked up the phone, she heard another girl's voice.

This girl's voice was not as pleasant as Tina's. The bartender felt that this girl was a little bit arrogant and overbearing, and she appeared not to be an easygoing person.

Without any courtesy, this girl angrily questioned, "Who's speaking?! Why did you pick up Dylan's phone?! Don't you know he has a fiancee?"

Niticing that there might be a misunderstanding, the bartender quickly explained, "This is XX Bar. The owner of this mobile phone is drunk..."

Half an hour later, Selene Chin walked into the pub quickly.

She went straight to the bar counter.

Dylan was sitting in a bar stool, and he was still wearing his suit. As he was drunk, he had fallen asleep on the bar counter. In fact, he was so drunk that he almost looked like a dead man. A great many wine bottles and glasses were scattered in front of him.

He seemed to be like a nobleman who was down-and-out and extremely dispirited.

Selene and Dylan had been together for so long a time, and every time he was with her, he appeared to be a handsome pianist who had the special temperament of being cool toward everything. He often acted like a prince, an eminent artist in his piano concerts.

Selene had never seen him behave like this before.

She couldn't believe her eyes.

The bartender saw that a beautiful and fashionable girl had arrived here. This girl was dressed in clothes of luxurious brands, and she had an indifferent and arrogant temperament.

The bartender realized that she must be the girl who called in just now. "Hi... Are you the lady who made the phone call a little while ago?"

Selen was quite used to the life pattern of being superior to others, and she liked to boss others around.

She stood there still arrogantly. Instead of answering the bartender's question, she rebuked her unhappily, "Why did he drink so much?"

Just now, Selene touched Dylan's body tenderly a few times, but got no response.

The bartender, who had been reprimanded, felt that she might become the scapegoat. "I'm not quite sure. He ordered a great deal of wine and drank them all. I don't think it's safe for him to continue to stay here. Please send him home quickly!"

After that, the bartender kindly came forward to help Dylan up.

Selene raised her eyebrows and stood in front of Dylan. She said unhappily, "Don't touch him! Just do what you should do. He is my fiance, and you don't have any right to touch him as bartender!" After that, without saying "thanks", Selene helped Dylan up and left.

The bartender felt speechless.

Selene gave her the impression that some rich people were really unpolite!

Selene had watched a movie with two other young ladies in the evening. The three of them talked about their fiances in the theatre.

Selene felt that her companions' fiances appeared to be more considerate than Dylan. After returning home, she tossed and turned on the bed and couldn't sleep well.

And then, she decided to make a phone call to Dylan.

To her surprise, Selene found out after the

call that Dylan had become drunk at XX Bar.

Selene hurried over, but since it was late at night, she didn't inform the driver of her family. She simply put on her clothes and call a taxi.

She made a lot of efforts and finally got Dylan into his car.

Dylan couldn't drive the car, and Selene didn't bring her driver's license with her. For this reason, the two of them could only wait for a designated driver.

Seeing that Dylan had become so drunk, Selene felt distressed and pitiful for him, but at the same time she was annoyed.

She leaned over and pushed him twice with her hand. With a tone of dissatisfaction, she asked, "Dylan, Dylan! Wake up! Why did you drink so much wine?" Dylan opened his eyes slowly.

Because of drunkenness, his pupils were a little blurred, and his eyes looked very unconcentrated.

He suddenly raised a hand, brushed away the hair on Selene's ear, and touched her cheek. Selene's breathing softened.

It was a rare instance for Dylan to take the initiative to behave so intimately to her. Selene originally had grievances over what had happened, but now they all disappeared, and she even felt delighted about it. Dylan had drunk a lot of wine tonight.

In the evening, he drove his car to a golf course in the suburbs and played two rounds of golf. He felt bored and wanted to do something else which was more exciting and required more physical strength. He happened to notice that there was a horse ranch nearby, and therefore he went straight there.

A black Rolls-Royce was parked near the entrance of the horse ranch. Dylan recognized its license plate. It was Wilson Chin's car.

Unexpectedly, Dylan learned that the horse ranch was not open to the public today.

One of the staff members told him that this horse ranch had already been acquired by Wilson. At this time, Wilson was inside the horse ranch, together with a young woman and a kid... Subconsciously, Dylan guessed what had happened.

He didn't know what was wrong with himself today, but for some unknown reason, he couldn't control himself. He simply wanted to go inside and have a look.

The banquet celebrating the engagement between Dylan and Selene Chin had attracted a great deal of public attention before. The horse ranch had now been bought by Wilson Chin. For this reason, most of the staff members knew that Dylan and Wilson were relatives. As Dylan emphasized that he only wanted to have a look, and would not disturb others inside the horse ranch, the staff members allowed him to do so.

Through the transparent glass wall, Dylan saw Wilson and Tina, who were wearing riding dresses, as well as a little girl who was squatting in front of the stable and feeding a pony with grass...

Although the girl was still very small, her features resembled Tina's.

Dylan felt like his heart was stabbed by a dagger.

It was bleeding painfully.

The little girl reminded Dylan of Tina's betrayal to him five years ago. Anger, hatred, and despair filled his heart.

Later, Dylan saw that Wilson pulled Tina into his arms and kissed her again. It was so unbearable to him.

After Dylan fled away from the horse ranch, he drove his car around the city and finally entered a pub.

He urgently needed alcohol to paralyze himself. Otherwise, his mind would be filled with more and more negative emotions. He was almost out of breath because of despair.

The drunkenness caused Dylan to suffer from hallucinations, in which he thought he had seen Tina.

Tina was so close to him that he could touch her as long as he stretched out his hand.

He also had vaguely overheard the bartender's phone call to Tina.

"Has Tina come over to me?" He thought.

Dylan caressed the cheeks of "Tina" gently as he had once done when the two of them were still in college. He did it again and again. Then, his mouth opened slightly. Selene raised her hand and put it on the back of his hand, enjoying this rare moment of loving care from her fiance.

Suddenly, Selene heard that her fiance was murmuring "Tina"... She was dumbfounded in an instant.

She couldn't believe what she heard. Mixed feeling surged up in her mind and she widened her eyes. "Dylan, what did you call me just now?

Dylan looked at her distractedly and

murmured, Tina...

Selene only felt that the cold wind blowing in from outside the window made her sadness into wretchedness.

It was Monday again. The morning sun was

shining on the earth through the clouds.

On the first day of each week, there were a great many vehicles and people on the street, especially during the rush hours.

Tina was leaning against the backseat. She looked somewhat exhausted as if she had consumed too much energy on the bed. However, her delicate face still looked fair and white. The morning sunlight shed on her face, and the mixture of light and shadows made her more charming.

Terry was driving the car very steadily.

Gradually, the office building of the TV station was coming into view.

With his long legs crossed, Wilson said, "Tina, I will be going on a business trip to Australina later on!"

"Uh-huh!" Tina nodded.

When the two of them were about to go to bed last night, Wilson had told her about it. This morning, Wilson carried his suitcase with him when they set off.

It was because of this that she had been bullied by him for a very long time on the bed last night.

The car was parked on the roadside near the office building.

Tina said, "Mr. Chin, I'll need to go now. I wish you a good journey!"

Then she opened the door and was about to leave.

Wilson suddenly grabbed her hand.
