When Viper had brought the news about the Attempted Kidnap on Leo’s Girlfriend or was it Luna? It doesn’t matter anyway since I’m going to be taking over my kingdom soon, which is Leonardo’s heart. That aside, Cypher, you already know him. had asked me to go and find out who the attacker was. He feared that it might be someone trying to conquer the pack of which he worked hard to grow to the level that it is today

I gladly took the job, staying in the pack, and finding who the mole was. Easy peasy. Viper had suggested that we informed. Leo about the fact that there was some other threat, but Cypher had said otherwise. He knew that Leo was not competent enough to prevent the Pack from being conquered. So here we are. With me and the job

I had other plans which by now should be very clear to you. The moon goddess was on my side and the annual tributes day happened to fall within this time. I used it as an excuse to enter into the pack

When I successfully got in. I went straight to Leo’s home. I needed to see who this Luna was and what the kids also looked. like. And of course, think of ways to eliminate them. That was my side mission, but I was going to do it first. Being the Luna of Fang Clan has always been for me. Leo and I had been destined for each other and that’s why five years ago, I decided to return to my home, but one way or the other, I got entangled with some commoner. Raymond found out, and even after I begged him with all I had, he still went ahead to disclose it to Leo and thus our breakup

Leo was so pissed, he felt very betrayed and embarrassed. But that was all in the past now. Mate or no mate, I knew he still loved me, but was just too angry to accept it. I asked around for the Luna and her kids, but no one seemed to have known where they went. I decided to abandon my search for them first and decided to take charge of the preparation for the celebrate, since our dear Luna didn’t seem to know her duty

After long hours of coordinating and all, I heard Leo’s car pulled over and caught his scent. I wanted to go meet him immediately, but thought otherwise. I decided to wait and give him a big surprise

By the time I got into his bedroom, he didn’t seem to have taken the surprise lightly as he asked me to leave severally. I was unhappy. He said he had forgiven me, but he wasn’t showing it

“Get out Kate” He repeated for the third time and decided to ignore him and just walked to the bed and sat down. I asked severally where his Luna was, but he seemed to not want to tell me.I watched him stare at a particular spot of the bed for a long time and then he nodded. “I’ll be back, and when I do, I don’t want to see you here. This is my matrimonial room” Was he saying that to make me feel bad? If he was, the he was doing quite a nice job

I was supposed to be our matrimonial bed, he was supposed to share it with me and not someone else. Someone they didn’t want me to see. Was she that pretty? Was she that pompous and bossy? What kind of a Luna was she? So many questions ran through my mind. Was she better than me? That’s impossible, I beat Kendra hands down. If there was any woman better than I was, then she sure as hell deserved to be called a beauty goddess.

I looked around the room, not much had changed since I left except the large portrait on the wall, that used to be our photo

Leo didn’t come back as he had promised and soon, it was eight pm, the official time the celebration began. I walked out of the room and made for the hall. The whole building was deserted. Of course, this is the most awaited time of the year

I walked majestically into the Hall and nobody paid me any form of attention whatsoever. It was like I wasn’t even there. This was unusual. People always awaited my entrance, they always anticipated my oh of course. The new Luna

I watched how a lot of women gathered around someone. Walking up to them, I made my way through the crowd, but when I got to the front row, I couldn’t see anyone. I stared at the women in confusion as they all had smiles on their faces. It was

obvious that they were talking to someone. And I stood there in amusement. How was it po on their faces. It was

While I was lost in my thoughts, I noticed that all the other women were staring at me as though waiting for me to say something. “Well..” One of them urged. This was beyond weird, beyond my knowledge beyond… “Are you going to answer the Luna or what?”

“Hi Luna” I said and left immediately, that wasn’t the best idea as the people were probably going to hate me now ‘They hate you already My wolf chirped in but I ignored her, but then again, what could I have done? I could not see or hear her. That wasn’t what I was supposed to mention because a lot of people would have questions to ask. Questions that I myself had no

answers to.

The night passed by in a blur and it was everything other than fun. I wasn’t the center of attention, women didn’t wish to be me, men didn’t wish to be mine and theirs, Children didn’t look up to me in admiration, teens didn’t want to be like me when they grew up, teenage girls didn’t want to be me, the boys didn’t want their girlfriends to be me. I wasn’t the bar that no one could cross and it sucked. It all sucked, real bad.

That wasn’t going to deter me anyway, I wasn’t one to back off from a fight at the very beginning, all because of one slight issue. Moreover, I had a mission here.

I guess I was a little bit over confident there, Leo had demanded that I left his pack umm. He didn’t even thank me for organising the whole event all myself when his so called Luna was out to fuck knows where. What means was left to try persuading Leo to let me stay? None, his nose was made up. At that was one thing I liked about him, once his mind was made up, nothing or anyone could change, except that now, I might not like that attribute as much as I did before since I was now on the receiving end

If I came back, Cypher would literally have my head rolling on the floor, and I could not run away, I had nowhere to go, no family to run to, nothing. But even if I did have somewhere or some place to run to, he would have been able to find me easily. He was too powerful. Having a lot of powerful men and women under his command, there was no way I could ever survive that, so that was not an option. As a matter of fact, I didn’t have an option but to be in Fang Clan because if I’m not, which ever plan I choose to set in motion I was going to end up dead either way

But I couldn’t tell that to Leo now, could I? I could not give up. I was still very young, I could not die, I mean, I deserve to live life. So I kept on begging. Leo had thought it was due to the fact that I wanted him back, but it was actually because I needed his pack to stay alive. I’m pretty sure if he knew, then her would have allowed me stay without having to go through

this troubles

“What! You can’t possibly be serious Raquel” he said and turned backwards. Raquel. His Luna. Oh my! How I wanted to see this woman’s face. “That’s so very not possible” he said again, I could see anger visibly burning in his eyes. Is that how.much hatred he had gathered for me?

“Do you know what this woman did? Do you know how sly and cruel she is?” I wasn’t that bad, was I?

“I’m not cruel” seems like the Luna was defending me or something

“I know, but she can’t stay here”

“That’s what you think you know, But What I know surely and a hundred percent is that she has ulterior motives. She is up to no good. Why can’t you see that?” They went on and on for an amazing one hour. I lost interest and stopped listening

“Whoever made that quote is very dumb. Our enemies are to be kept as far as possible from anywhere near us”

Are you saying that I’m dumb?”

That is what you’re insinuating” I heard those words and then I lost interest again. Sucks to not hear the other side of the argument right? But they must be a really fun couple being that they argued for a good three hours and then Leo came to a conclusion that of course was “definitely his wish” (bunny ears) to let me stay. I couldn’t be more grateful.

This Luna had no idea that she had just saved my life
