Andrew did not reply. He walked past him, opened the door of the study, and walked straight in. He locked the study from the inside and did not even look at him. 

“Fuck!” Henry was infuriated by his cold attitude. He had nowhere to vent his anger. 

He did not have any bad intentions of staying there tonight. Initially, he wanted Benjamin to help him persuade Andrew not to be so strict with the project that Benjamin had entrusted him previously. 

However, Benjamin told him to talk to Andrew himself. Henry had mentally prepared himself for a long time before he decided to lower his pride and get close to Andrew. 

If he knew that Andrew would have such an attitude, he shouldn’t have come. This feeling of having his pride trampled under others‘ feet was really annoying! 

This project had been stagnant, and his father did not dare to help him openly. If it was not completed within the time limit set by his grandfather, he might really have to leave the company. 

At the thought of this, Henry was angry and hateful. His head hurt. 

At this moment, the phone in his pocket suddenly vibrated. 

He took it out impatiently and swiped the screen to see that it was a WhatsApp message from Sophia. 

“I heard that you’ve been having a headache over the project at Peak Mountain recently. I can help you.” 

Sophia briefly stated her purpose for looking for him. She must have investigated the grudge between him and Andrew clearly. 

“What are your conditions?” 

Upon seeing this message, Henry’s eyes lit up and he immediately replied to her. This woman had always been especially ambitious. With her support, many things would be easier to do. 

*I want you to help me drive Elizabeth out of the Hayes family and create chances for me to interact with Andrew!“ 

“No problem.” 

“Then wait for my news.” 

Seeing this message, Henry tightened his grip on the phone in his hand. He looked at the closed study and then at the bedroom where Elizabeth was. A hint of determination flashed across his eyes. 

It had to be said that Sophia was really effective. The next afternoon, Henry received the contract, and she also helped him resolve some of the obstacles in the project. 

After Henry signed the contract, he immediately felt refreshed. 

Recalling that he had agreed to Sophia’s request, he immediately took out his phone and called Elizabeth. He wanted to ask her out and scheme against her when she was not paying attention. Then, he would cause a misunderstanding between her and Andrew, 

Unexpectedly, Elizabeth had already blocked his number. 

He called another number. Once Elizabeth picked up and realized that it was his voice, she didn’t even give him a chance to react and hung up mercilessly. 

He racked his brains to get Elizabeth’s other contact details, but all of them failed. This woman was so tough now, not giving him any chance to take advantage of her. 

He was furious. He thought to himself, “Elizabeth, since you’re so heartless to me, then don’t blame me for being too 

ruthless.” 

Hence, he immediately found a photo of him and Elizabeth on his computer and sent it to Andrew with his alternate email. 

When Andrew received the email, he happened to be working overtime at the company. 

He had just finished reviewing a document and was about to verify it in the computer archive when an email popped up in the bottom right corner. 

The headline read “Elizabeth and her ex–boyfriend.” 

He paused for a moment, and his hand clicked in uncontrollably. 

What greeted his eyes was Elizabeth’s smiling face. At that time, she looked very inexperienced, and there was still baby fat 

on her face. 

Standing behind her was Henry. He wore a pair of gold–rimmed glasses and gave off the feeling of refined scum, 

Upon closer inspection, Andrew could see that Henry was hugging Elizabeth. Both of them had blissful smiles on their faces,

and their postures were relatively intimate. It was obvious that they were in love. 

Upon seeing this, Andrew’s dark eyes flashed with a trace of maliciousness. His hand that was on the mouse couldn’t help but scroll down again. There was a photo of Henry riding a bicycle to the park with Elizabeth. 

The smile on Elizabeth’s face deeply hurt Andrew’s eyes! 

He paused and forced himself to calm down. He looked carefully at the two photos again and realized that there was no trace of Photoshop. 

It turned out that she used to be so sweet to Henry. Andrew had never seen the smile on her face in the photo before. 

Just thinking about it made him feel as if a huge rock was pressing down on his heart. It was stuffy and not comfortable at all. 

Ding ding ding. 

At this moment, the external phone on the side suddenly rang. 

He quickly came back to his senses and picked up the receiver to answer the call. 

“Hello, Andrew. Why can’t I get through to your phone?” 

Elizabeth’s sweet voice came from the other end of the phone, mixed with some worry. 

“It’s probably dead. I’m working overtime.” 

“Okay then. Remember to tell me next time you work overtime. I thought you had a relapse or had an accident.” 

Hearing this, Elizabeth finally relaxed. 

Seeing that she was so worried about him. Andrew’s originally gloomy mood finally eased. 

Instinctively, his lips curved into a smile, but his tone remained cold. “You don’t have to wait for me. I won’t be back tonight.” Since she was so worried, he would let her worry for a while longer. 

“Okay, got it. I’m hanging up now.” 

Unexpectedly, when Elizabeth heard this, she said okay without any objection and hung up. 

When Andrew heard the beeping sound from the receiver, he could not help but be stunned. He thought that she would be worried, but in the end, she just hung up like that? 

Andrew’s mood changed again and again in just ten minutes. He had mixed feelings, and he suddenly lost interest in the document in his hand. 

After a few minutes, he couldn’t take it anymore and called Peter. 

“Peter, what’s Elizabeth doing at home now?” 

“Mr. Andrew, Mrs. Elizabeth just changed her clothes and went out. She said she is going to her best friend,” Peter reported truthfully. 

“What? She went out?” 

Upon hearing this, Andrew frowned. This woman was still on the phone one second ago saying that she was worried about him, but the next second, she went to meet her best friend. With such a speedy change in attitude, why didn’t she enter the entertainment industry to work as an actress? 

“That’s right. Mrs. Elizabeth said that she hasn’t seen her best friend in a long time. She said that she would go shopping with her friend and won’t be coming back tonight.” 

“Alright, I see!” 

Andrew gritted his teeth and hung up the phone unhappily. 

This time, his mood fell to the bottom. Women were full of lies!
