Preference For Her By Joyce Dan

Chapter 107

Chapter 107

After Andrew angrily returned to his office, he immediately instructed Robert to call a meeting with all company management team members.

After Andrew brought up the issue of receptionists hiding information, he took advantage of the situation to get rid of the spies that Henry had planted around him.

The two receptionists were shocked to realize that a small matter could even result in their dismissal. Even after signing the termination agreement, they were still confused about what had happened.

“Have they gone to look for Henry?” Andrew asked Robert.

Robert nodded with admiration. “Yes, but Henry ignored them.”

Andrew laughed mockingly. “What’s the use of that when having such a group of useless subordinates?”

After saying that. Andrew checked the time and picked up his suit jacket from the back of the chair. He put it on and said to Robert. “You handle the rest; I have something else to attend to.”

While Andrew had not been able to taste the food that Elizabeth had sent, he appreciated her sincerity in apologizing. He decided to forgive her.

In a happy mood, Andrew made his way towards the psychology center. He wanted to surprise Elizabeth and decided to take a detour through the mansion’s back door and quietly climb up the stairs.

However, it didn’t go as smoothly as he had hoped.

As Andrew was passing by the pantry, he couldn’t help but take a peek inside. He saw Elizabeth and her junior holding a cup of coffee each, chatting and laughing merrily.

Elizabeth patted her junior’s arm from time to time. The junior pinched Elizabethi’s face every now and then. It looked more like flirting.

Andrew couldn’t help but feel uncomfortable when he thought about how stiff Elizabeth had been with him before and now seeing her having a lively conversation and smiling brightly with her junior. Her radiant smile made him feel a bit jealous and uncomfortable.

Andrew couldn’t help but wonder why Elizabeth was able to treat everyone else with warmth and kindness yet always seemed distant and stiff towards him.

Did it mean that marrying him back then was really an extremely helpless choice?

Andrew also considered the possibility that Elizabeth had always defined their relationship as strictly professional, with her only seeing him as a patient and never considering a change in their dynamic. This might have led to her falling asleep during his sessions despite his best efforts.

As Andrew continued to watch, his feelings of anger and discomfort grew stronger. His mind began to spiral, and he couldn’t help but think that Elizabeth no longer had any affection for him. Despite his efforts to shake off these thoughts, they continued to consume him.

Feeling frustrated, Andrew quietly left the area and drove aimlessly around the streets. Eventually, he found himself at a bar, seeking solace in alcohol to ease his troubles.

Andrew had a faint idea in his mind to get drunk and have Robert contact Elizabeth to come to pick him up from the bar.

Sometimes… Alcohol could indeed boost one’s courage.

“You mean he got drunk at the bar?”

When Henry heard this news, he raised his eyebrows in surprise. “Are you sure you saw the right person? Are you sure it’s Andrew?”

His confidant nodded and said earnestly, “Our people saw him heading towards Elizabeth’s place, and when he came out, he went to the bar. They must have had a fight.”

“That’s good.”

A smile instantly bloomed on Henry’s face. “So it seems that those who are successful in business may not be so lucky in love.

“Just as he had recently dismissed my two informants, feeling pleased with himself, he was suddenly brought back to earth by Elizabeth’s actions.

“Could this be considered karma?”

“Of course. The confidant looked at Henry obsequiously and offered him an idea. “Mr. Hayes, he’s alone in the bar now.

“Can we take advantage of his drunkenness to do something?”

“What can we do?”

Henry looked at him mockingly. “He just fired two of my spies. Now, everyone is watching me.

“Anything that happens to him will be blamed on me.”

“No, no, no.”

His confidant smirked cunningly and said, “It’s normal for Mr. Hayes to be followed by beautiful women when he a place like a bar, isn’t it?

“If those women happen to have some kind of illness or if they bring some drugs to spice things up for Andrew, won’t that be reasonable

Henry was stunned when he heard this. He carefully scrutinized his confidant before shaking his head and saying. “You’re really….

The confidant was a little flustered and immediately changed his words. “Of course, if you’re unwilling…

“Why not?”

A cruel smile appeared on Henry’s face, and his eyes looked vicious. “Just like you said, it’s normal for people who hang out in bars to have all sorts of illnesses.”

However…

“If these two women bring Andrew to the wrong room and hand it to a strong man, won’t that be even more reasonable?”

The confidant was dumbfounded.

“Isn’t this…” He thought it was too cruel.

However, his doubts were forced back by Henry’s cold gaze.

Regardless of what would happen, the fight between them was none of his concern.

In a bar.

Andrew, who was sitting alone in a private booth drinking, had long been a unique sight in the bar, and many people even contacted their friends to come over just to catch a glimpse of him.

However, no one dared to step forward.

After all, the chill emanating from Andrew made people hesitate to approach him.

Thus, the two scantily dressed women stood out even more.

“Alone?”

The woman walked over and sat on the table in front of Andrew. She crossed her legs, revealing her snow–white thighs.

She wiggled her toes playfully and kicked Andrew’s leg, her voice sweet and cloying. “It’s so boring to drink alone with so much alcohol. Why don’t you join us?”

The other woman was already sitting on the sofa and slowly approaching Andrew.

Her movements were very careful. Her fingertips gently brushed against Andrew’s suit, not daring to use too much strength.

The person who paid her had told her that this man was a germaphobe and asked her to confirm that he was drunk before approaching him so as not to alert him.

Andrew felt very dizzy.

He had intended to get himself drunk, and with Henry’s actions, the alcohol he had just drunk went down smoothly but hit him hard.

At this point, he felt dizzy and disoriented, as if his senses had been greatly dulled. He didn’t even notice someone approaching him, nor was he aware that anyone was nearby.

“He’s drunk.”

The woman sitting on the sofa exchanged a glance with her companion and deliberately spoke loudly, “Really! Then let’s go to your usual hotel. We will definitely make you happy.”

“Yeah, with your good looks, I’ll go along with whatever you want to play,” said the woman sitting at the table as she stood up and helped Andrew to his feet.

After leaning over, she began to rummage through Andrew’s pocket. Finally, she found his phone and turned it off,

Before they could succeed, no one could take away this heavily drunk man.

“Already at the hotel?”
