Chapter Chapter Seven
In the White House Conference Centre, Washington DC, a meeting among political leaders from all over the world was in progress. The meeting was being chaired by the President of the USA. Among others, the leaders of China, Russia, France, Great Britain, India, and Pakistan were also present.
A welcome speech was delivered by the US President himself and after the formalities, he stated, ’We are facing an extraordinary threat to the existence of human beings. Clearly, we should develop many more defensive weapons with the latest and most advanced technology. Now I would like to hear your suggestions for safeguarding our future.
A response came from the Indian President.
‘What would happen if all of our weapons failed and proved useless against any extra-human forces?’
The President of France raised his voice. ‘Developing more advanced war weapons means putting humanity at greater risk than ever before.’
The Turkish President claimed, ‘But we have to do something to ensure the peace of the world.’
The US President spoke again. ‘We cannot do that at the cost of people’s lives.’
‘We will carry on at any cost,’ the Russian President declared.
A hot exchange then began between the Russian and US Presidents.
Moments later, the Turkish President stood up, requesting all participants to remain calm, humble and peaceful. He also wished to be given a few minutes to speak.
‘My dear fellow leaders, rulers and politicians…’ he looked all around at the assembled leaders and continued, ‘We have enough weapons to destroy this planet more than a thousand times. We are moving towards destruction by our own hands faster than the speed of sound. We have such dangerous weapons of mass destruction in the name of defence, and we are making progress by leaps and bounds in the development of these weapons – making them more and more efficient, accurate and powerful, without seriously thinking about our hidden and external enemies. Each year we lose human lives, resources and infrastructure due to floods, heavy rains, earthquakes, etc. We are still not ready to face solar storms or global warming.’
He paused, cleared his throat and continued. ‘But sadly, neither are we ready to face an attack by aliens from outer space. We have not yet developed anything to oppose them with. I have a few suggestions to make to you and I beg your attention.’
He paused again, selected his words and started speaking once more. ’It is sad to say that every single year we are pouring trillions of dollars from our budget into developing weapons in the name of defence. It is not only the money we are pouring into the development of deadly weapons – we still do not consider the precious time spent on research and development. The smartest brains are working around the clock on this, but we could use their intelligence for the betterment of humanity in the world. And it does not stop there; by inflicting these weapons on so-called enemies, basically for the purpose of snatching resources from other lands and countries, we are killing our own species, our animals, birds, and trees. We are causing the destruction of our own environment.
’I would like to remind you of the consequences of World War I and World War II in the twentieth century. I would also like to remind you of the loss of both human beings and infrastructure in the twenty-first century.
’Let me explain to you the loss of human lives from World Wars I and II:
’The total number of military and civilian casualties in World War I was over thirty seven million: over seventeen million deaths and twenty million wounded, ranking it among the deadliest conflicts in human history.
’The total number of deaths includes about ten million military personnel and about seven million civilians. The Central Powers lost about four million. At least two million died from disease and six million went missing, presumed dead.
‘The second World War was the deadliest military conflict in history in absolute terms of total dead. Over sixty million people were killed, which was about three percent of the 1940 world population. The higher figure of over eighty million includes deaths from war-related disease and famine. Civilians killed totalled fifty to fifty-five million, including nineteen to twenty-eight million from war-related disease and famine. Total military dead was between twenty-one and twenty-five million, including deaths in captivity of about five million prisoners of war.’
‘He could be a good maths teacher or economist, but unfortunately he became a politician,’ whispered someone from the audience. ‘It’s a bad and boring day. My country cannot accept this offer and will not be able to afford to stop the development of weapons… we have droves of enemies all around us.’
The speech continued. ’First of all, I request all the leaders and politicians present here today, to organise a common force consisting of members from all regions, whatever their geographical disputes, with a common funding according to the availability of the budgets in different regions and countries.
‘Secondly, I would like to request the leaders and politicians to halt research and development on killer weapons, as I have already mentioned. We already have enough weapons to kill ourselves along with the whole of the world, so let us divide into three whatever funds we are spending on wars and weapons today. One part should be spent for the betterment, health and education of your own people, your country’s poor and backward areas; another share should go to the rest of the poor in the world for health and education; the third part should be spent on space exploration, as we all know that sooner or later, we will have to find alternative planets and places to live for the sake of humanity—’
‘This is a good speech to be delivered to high school pupils, Mr President, but not to world leaders in the White House,’ the Israeli Prime Minister butted in. ‘Your words are great and true but unfortunately you do not have an appropriate audience.’
Before anyone else could speak, they heard a single gunshot. BANG! A moment of silence and then continuous shooting very close to the walls of the conference hall. All faces turned towards the door and a security guard came running in.
‘Sir, an empty-handed man has entered the White House. No one knows how. We tried to stop him, but he was able to keep going. He claims that he is Ziddan and he wants to be present here in the conference hall. He says he will not harm anyone. We opened fire on him but the bullets seemed to just slip through his body, causing no harm to him. I just closed the main entrance so I believe he won’t be able to enter here because he is empty handed and the doors are too strong to be broken—’
‘Keep calm and relax, my friends.’
A voice was heard from the corner of the hall, where Ziddan had entered through the solid brick wall. There was no sign of a hole, or even a crack.
‘I won’t harm you.’
He was smiling and seemed so peaceful and kind. Everyone present felt that a ray of light shone from his teeth as he smiled. They were surprised, afraid and confused but none of them spoke for a long time.
Finally, the US President spoke out with a trembling voice. ‘How do you dare to be here? Don’t you know where you are?’
Ziddan smiled again and moved forward, ‘I am well aware of this place. I am on Planet Earth and I have been here for more than four months as you count your days and nights.’
‘Are you alien?’
The question was echoed by many faces at the same time, all conscious, worried and helpless.
He nodded.
‘Was it you who saved our planet from the shower of asteroids?’ somebody else asked.
‘Yes, I did.’ But Ziddan did not reveal the fact about sending medicine towards his planet.
‘What is your purpose here on our planet? Where did you come from and most importantly, what do you want from us?’ asked the US President, retreating a short distance away from where he was standing.
‘Please, just relax, cool down and take your seats,’ Ziddan replied. ‘I will explain all about my arrival and once again, I promise not to harm any one of you.’
Everyone took their seats. They were a little more relaxed but still restless and curious.
‘My name is Ziddan, Ziddan Zai,’ he said and began his story.
‘I came from Planet Xee to find a suitable medicine for my son.’ He paused. ‘And the good news is that he is now very well.’
He smiled again. Another ray of colourful light appeared from his teeth, filling and illuminating the whole hall.
‘I was advised by our Doitoi… I mean by our godfather of The Planet, to do good deeds to this world in return.’
‘What could you do for us?’ one of the leaders asked anxiously.
‘I could provide you with more than you can imagine,’ replied Ziddan politely.
‘Can you tell us more about your planet? The type of atmosphere, the weather, your way of your life…?’
‘Prepare to be astonished then,’ Ziddan replied and started sharing facts about his planet.
’Our planet revolves around the star, Zajranta-9, and we have almost the same length of day and night as you, though we can extend our day or night if we wish to. We can stop time. Our entire atmosphere, including everything within it, is integrated with our minds. If we wish for sun, there it is; we wish for clouds, rain, light or dark, drink or food – all are presented just by wishing for them. Most importantly, if my companion wants cold, he will feel it but, sitting next to him, if I want hot I will be blessed with hot waves.
‘We are immortal; we never die and we never get sick. There is no illness apart from our young ones before they drink Aab e Hayat, the drink of eternal life. We have no enemies to be worried about—’
‘How old are you?’ someone interrupted.
‘I am five hundred million years old.’
A wave of astonishment went through the body and soul of every member in the meeting hall.
‘And I do not exactly know the age of our Doitoi.’
‘How did you find our planet,’ someone else asked.
’I am very pleased to be here, though it’s not for the first time. I came here millions of years ago, when life on Earth was in its earlier stages. The second time I came here was a short time ago when humans, your ancestors, were about to roll across the planet. They were struggling to survive, living in caves, getting food from the woods and were scared of their own shadows as they begged fire from the stones…but now look at you; just a few days ago, you were about to set the planet on fire!
’I am pleased to know that you have come this far; you have developed such wonderful technology. But I am sad to say that you are keen to kill each other with no hesitation: you deceive each other, you kill animals, you cut down your trees at an alarming rate, and very often you are so selfish that you think only of your own lives, your own country, your own benefits, not even bothering about your fellow men or the environment.
‘There is one major difference between our worlds. On my planet, almost everyone has the same quality of life, but here there is a huge difference between rich and poor. If you like, I can show you what I have observed during the last four months. I can show you through my eyes. It is simple and easy for me – as you watch through your eyes, I can reflect my mind maps, images, thoughts and stored information through my eyes.’
He paused for a while, gazed at the wall and a light shone through his eyes.
The wall showed the picture, very clear and bright. A scene of a fully lit street appeared on the wall, showing happy, healthy and smiling people, but the scene then quickly changed to show a picture of children and adults dying of hunger. In another scene, people were being killed. A restaurant appeared on the wall. It was packed with customers all enjoying the best and freshest food of their choice, but right behind the restaurant, a man wearing threadbare clothes was searching for food in the waste bins of the restaurant.
Another scene appeared on the wall. Here were people with yellow faces and thin, sick bodies working in different factories for more than sixteen hours a day, earning hardly any money for their living. But with every second they worked they were increasing the wealth and size of the business for the factory owner.
‘There is plenty more to show you,’ said Ziddan, ’but I would like to stop here in the hope that you already realise the actual situation of your planet.
’However, despite all the killing, the robbery, the preying on resources from other nations, life is still flourishing. Kids are growing up in these conditions; flowers are delivering the best of their fragrances in your gardens; trees are providing you with fresh air to breathe; oceans, rivers and clouds are kind enough to bless you with water and plants, vegetables and other food needs are being fulfilled despite ever-growing demands. Your planet and nature are like a kind mother providing you with all you need and require.
‘Did you ever know the sun to stop shining even if no one comes out to enjoy its benefits? It always rains indiscriminately without demanding anything in return. It will always be happening whether you ruin it or make it useful.’
‘You must act carefully, generously and equally to bless those who are needy, to feed those who are hungry, to provide shelters to those who struggle—’
‘These are the circumstances and facts we are already very well aware of,’ an audience member pointed out. ‘How could you help us to change this? Would you be kind enough to provide us with enough precious elements from space like diamonds, gold, Helium 3 and others, so that we can make the world worthy and enjoyable for everyone?’
‘Excuse me,’ said the Israeli Prime Minister suddenly, rushing towards the door of the conference hall.
‘Please stay where you are,’ Ziddan requested.
The Prime Minister was a few steps away from the door. He turned to face towards Ziddan but continued moving forward with no intention of stopping.
A red light immediately beamed from Ziddan’s central red eye, which usually appreas and disappreas at times, causing the Prime Minister to stop. His head was almost fully rotated so he appeared as though his face was turned backwards.
‘I increased the gravity under your feet. I am not allowing you to move until this meeting is over because of your intention to put me behind bars and force me to obtain precious elements from space for you. I am very well aware of all of the silly things in your mind! I am beyond your reach.’
At this point, the US President rose from his seat, warning Ziddan that he could not do that in his presence.
‘I have a veto power to save the Prime Minister.’
‘You deserve it too,’ said Ziddan and pointed his finger at the President, sending him up the wall until his head touched the ceiling and he was forced to bend from the waist.
Ziddan turned to face to his audience again. ’Unfortunately, you were all thinking almost the same thing. Some of you were planning how to control my abilities for your own benefits, a few of you had the intention of killing me and extracting my DNA. Some of you were thinking about handing me over to your researchers, to whom I will be speaking later this evening. And all of you were considering and planning ways of controlling me for your own personal gain rather than to benefit the whole planet. He pointed to someone nearby. ‘This guy wanted to call his snipers to capture me.’
He looked around at them; they were all ashamed of their thoughts.
‘I still want to help humanity as a thankfulness for saving my son’s health, but I believe that even if I provide you with the wealth of the whole universe, you would use it to fight and kill each other, rather than spending it on the betterment of your people.’
He paused, cleared his throat and continued. ‘Today, I have to make some important decisions, and either you like them or you don’t, but from this day forward, none of your weapons of any kind – from smallest pistols to nuclear bombs, missiles, war aircrafts, tanks, ships, killer robots – will work any more. All the components of those weapons will be returned to their previous states all around the globe, but the rest of your technology will continue to work perfectly well.’
A noise rose in the conference hall as people voiced their opinions. ‘You are a destroyer, you are a killer…’
‘We won’t allow you to do that.’
‘If we had known about your sick son, we would not have let you send the medicine.’
‘We will kill your son before he turns immortal.’
Ziddan remained silent for a while, listening to them, until he had heard enough.
‘I must stop you speaking.’ The red eye appeared again and the rays emitting from it made everyone silent.
‘Now you won’t be able to speak. You can only listen while I am here.’ He raised both hands to his face. A blue marble globe appeared next to him.
‘This is your planet,’ said he, smiling, ‘revolving around the sun and turning your days into nights and nights into days.’
The red rays from his left eye and the green rays from his right eye then appeared and covered the whole globe. More than seventy percent of the globe turned red. The rest of it was covered in green dots.
Then red rays were beamed from his third eye and filled the whole of the hall with red smoke. A few moments later, only green dots were left behind on the globe – there were no more red areas to be seen.
‘That means the weapons were destroyed all over the world; from small to large, from Asia to America, from Russia to Australia, the world is left without weapons. It is finally safe. And you cannot develop these weapons again,’ declared Ziddan.
The red eye was still visible but no rays were coming from it.
‘Now I leave these tiffinies behind me to watch over you. They will be watching every person on Earth. They will report to me about your activities.’
The red middle eye sparked again and little sparrows with grey bodies, green necks and twinkling eyes appeared on the table . At first there were about a thousand, then millions, and then more and more...
‘What is more, I will make them invisible to your eyes so that you cannot trace them, you cannot stop them working and you cannot escape from them.’
In a few seconds, there was nothing to be seen on the table.
‘Whoever in the future dares to be involved in developing weapons will be killed. If it is attempted again, the team of scientists will be killed and if you still continue to try, the whole city will be destroyed. I’m afraid the populace will be punished for being unable to stop their own people from making weapons. From this day forward, no budget will be assigned to weapons; rather it must be spent on public health, education and benefits.’
All the politicians wanted to stop him but they saw the Israeli Prime Minister fixed to the ground with his face turned backwards and the US President hanging, bent, from the ceiling and they could not move.
‘And one more thing: I want you to be able to sort your problems out on your own until I can consult with Doitoi about the next stage of the plan. The wealthiest people among you will have to share their wealth amongst the poorest people on the planet, according to their needs. This has already been calculated and delivered and the specified amounts will only reach the intended people. The donors will be honoured with the best of the natural gifts, i.e. the diamond and gold hidden in the soil of the recipient’s lands, but only I can explore and deliver this to the respective donors in return.’
He paused again and smiled at the angry, depressed faces of his audience before saying, ‘Now I would like to speak to your researchers and scientists to see if they have any questions.’
The politicians gave sigh of relief, expecting him to disappear from the conference hall to meet with cosmologists and other scientists and researchers, so that he wouldn’t be able to watch them any more. But their optimism was short-lived.
‘Be aware that I will be physically present everywhere whilst I am on Earth: I will be listening and speaking to you whilst I am also listening and speaking to those all around the globe in spite of the time difference and distance. However, you may contact them through your own ways of communication and I return your speaking power to you now.’ Ziddan cast a final glance at the politicians just in case they had any questions.
‘How is that even possible? How can you be physically present in different places at the same time?’ The question was asked by a group of scientists from Canada who were already in conservation with Ziddan.
’I can explain it simply to you. You already know about the presence of Dark Matter and Dark Energy, but there is another thing yet to be discovered by you, called Dark Motion. It is present everywhere in the web of space, and whoever can control this ‘Motion’ can be present all over the place at the same time. Our godfather, Doitoi, has the maximum range of ability for this. As for me, I can perform this within a radius of up to ten coasi… I mean, one million miles.’
‘It’s all very interesting,’ said one of the scientists. ‘Fascinating, in fact. Can you tell us something about the universe? What caused the Big Bang?’
‘According to the information obtained from your knowledge and discoveries to date, you have a pretty good understanding of the universe compared to your past. You already know about stars, galaxies, and nebulae, black holes. Let me take you from black holes to the Big Bang. As per your knowledge, there are the following types of black holes…’
The scientists paid careful attention as Ziddan continued.
’Firstly, stellar black holes which form when a massive star collapses and is sunk by a black hole. No matter can escape from this, not even light.
’Secondly, there are supermassive black holes that can have a mass equivalent to that of billions of suns and are likely to exist in the centres of galaxies, including your own Milky Way.
‘And then there are miniature black holes. These could have a mass equivalent to your sun. It’s possible that miniature black holes could have formed shortly after the Big Bang.’
After a short pause, he continued. ’You describe the Big Bang theory as follows:
’The universe expanded from an extremely dense and hot state and still continues to expand today. So the universe came into existence from an extremely dense state, so tightly compacted and condensed that there was no time and space. If we study black holes, their properties seem to match the early moments of our universe, i.e. singularity. But the problem is that at that moment, there was no moment; no time space, no galaxies and no stars to form black holes. You are also aware of the presence of an ancient parallel universe creating black holes in the same way as our universe today and one of the supermassive and extremely dense black holes has created our universe. It may simply be stated that a supermassive black hole of an ancient parallel or another universe has caused the Big Bang and created the universe we see today.
’Now, when a black hole sucks matter into it, it changes the physical properties of the matter. Miniature and stellar black holes play the following roles:
’One: to eject dark matter and dark energy into our universe to keep the system of our universe running. Most importantly, black holes are the reason for our universe’s vast and continuous expansion.
’Two: being so dense and having extraordinary gravitational force on our side, black holes are creating extraction power to keep parallel universes away in order to avoid a collision of the universes.
‘In rare cases, these supermassive black holes do not act as I have mentioned; rather, they store the mass sucked in and compress it over billions upon billions of years. This can then result in a Big Bang, creating another parallel universe as has happened with our own universe.’
‘How powerful are you?’ asked someone from another team.
Ziddan smiled, looked around at the politicians and answered the scientists. ‘I could blow the whole of your planet away into dark, deep and barren space by just pointing my finger.’
Ziddan’s audience remained silent and frightened, except for one brave soul who asked, ‘Can you use this power to settle humans into space – on your planet or somewhere else?’
‘Yes, of course I can do that. I can drag this planet with its whole atmosphere and all its creatures to an appropriate destination, as there are plenty of places out there to be enjoyed by you; or I can drag a part of the earth containing human beings to our neighbourhood for eternal life in a peaceful place. But the problem is, you and your planet will not survive while travelling through the frozen, boiling, dark, and harsh aspects of space. I have decided to take all of you to our neighbourhood planets in the next ten years, so I will be back with my son soon with a means of transporting you all.’
‘That’s great news indeed! We will be waiting for you to come down to save us!’
‘I have to,’ said Ziddan, ’to save you from dying and to save the rest of the creatures on the planet from being destroyed by you. During my stay over the last four months, I have heard all the complaints about you from every living thing on the planet, including your own species – your fellow human beings.
‘You have spoiled more than ninety percent of marine life; you kill millions of animals, birds, trees and plants each year. I actually have to save them all from you by transporting you to other destinations and leaving this planet for the rest of the creatures.’
They were all ashamed of their cruelty towards nature, as well as towards animals and their own fellow humans, but at the same time everyone seemed excited about being in safer worlds and also being immortal. The excitement overcame their shame.
‘Thank you very much, Ziddan. We are all pleased to have you here on Earth. We are also happy to know that your son is now well and we will be waiting for your return, to take us to your planet.’
Ziddan nodded his head and then disappeared.
