Our Journey Back To Love

Chapter 86

Chapter 86

Stella froze. Her teeth were forced apart by Brian’s tongue, and their breaths mingled.

His kiss was rough and assertive.

Stella was going mad. “What are you doing, Brian? Let go of me!”

“Why are you shouting? Do you want the whole company to know what we’re doing here?”

Stella stiffened and dared not move. When Brian kissed her again, she pushed against his chest and

resisted in a low voice. “Let go of me, Brian. Can’t you hear me? This is my workplace. There are people

outside. Don’t do this…”

“You deserve a little punishment.”

“Why should I be punished?”

“Because you’re a flirt.”

Stella was speechless.

Brian’s gaze turned dark, and the next moment, he pinned her beneath him.

Stella’s face turned pale. Was he really going to do it here?

“No!” Feeling ashamed to the core, she pushed against him with all her might. “We’ve filed for divorce.

You can’t do this to me.”

*Are you going to seduce other men? Brian pressed closer, his piercing stare meeting her eyes.

“Why do you have the right to control me?” Stella said with a look of grievance.

“Just because I want to.” His tone was domineering. Besides, it’s useless even if you flirt with Bernard. His parents are known to value lineage. Without a prestigious background, his family won’t let you marry him.”

“I never said I wanted to marry him.”

“What do you mean? You don’t mind becoming his mistress?  S~ᴇaʀᴄh the FɪndNøvel.ɴet website on Gøøglᴇ to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.

Feeling weary, Stella sighed. “Could you stop coming to see me?”

Several seconds of silence passed.

Brian sneered. “What? You don’t want me to disturb your affairs with other men?”

“Yes.” She looked up at him. “How can I find a boyfriend if you always do this? Can’t you just be with Jessica and stop bothering me?”

“Do you think I’m bothering you now?” Brian’s voice was devoid of emotion.

“Isn’t that what you’re doing?” Stella retorted.

She was extremely frustrated. Since he had chosen Jessica, why bother coming to her? Whatever happened to her from now on had nothing to do with him.

Another silence ensued.

After a while, seemingly at a loss for words, Brian let her go and left without looking back

Mike was waiting outside with the gifts.

Seeing Brian heading toward the door, Mike followed him. “Mr. Foley, aren’t we supposed to accompany Mrs. Foley to dinner at the Yates residence tonight?”

Brian’s expression turned cold as he turned around. The gifts in Mike’s hands seemed to displease him.

He threw them all into the trash can, causing a commotion. Everyone looked over.

Brian exuded hostility as he stepped into the elevator. “Back to the office.”

Stella straightened her clothes and walked out of the meeting room, only to see Brian standing expressionless in the elevator,

Without a word, she watched the elevator doors slowly close.

Stella stared into Brian’s eyes until the doors were completely shut. After that, she stood there motionless for a long time.

“Brian’s gone?” Bernard walked out from behind.

Stella, with her back to him, sneered. “Are you satisfied now, Mr. Roach?

Bernard looked at her. “Brian came to see you, and you didn’t want to seize the opportunity to talk to him?”

He didn’t see what they did in the meeting room, but judging by Brian’s angry demeanor, it probably didn’t go well.

Stella chuckled. “My dad is more important.

Brian’s devotion to her wasn’t exactly passionate or all–consuming. Besides his slight reluctance to let her go, what other feelings did he have for her?

On the other hand, he cared a lot about Jessica and the baby in her belly. Why should she try to hold on to such a man?
